Middle East respiratory syndrome coronavirus （MERS-CoV）, a member of the Coronavifidae family, is the causative pathogen for MERS that is characterized by high fever, pneumonia, acute respiratory distress syndrome （ARDS）, as well as extrapul- monary manifestations. Currently, there are no approved treatment regimens or vaccines for MERS. Here~ we generated recombinant nonvirulent Newcastle disease virus （NDV） LaSota strain expressing MERS-CoV S protein （designated as rLa- MERS-S）, and evaluated its immunogenicity in mice and Bactrian camels. The results revealed that rLa-MERS-S showed similar growth properties to those of LaSota in embryonated chicken eggs, while animal immunization studies showed that rLa-MERS-S induced MERS-CoV neutralizing antibodies in mice and camels. Our findings suggest that recombinant rLa- MERS-S may be a potential MERS-CoV veterinary vaccine candidate for camels and other animals affected by MERS.

A three-dimensional finite element model for phase change random access memory is established to simulate electric, thermal and phase state distribution during （SET） operation. The model is applied to simulate the SET behaviors of the heater addition structure （HS） and the ring-type contact in the bottom electrode （RIB） structure. The simulation results indicate that the small bottom electrode contactor （BEC） is beneficial for heat efficiency and reliability in the HS cell, and the bottom electrode contactor with size Fx=80 nm is a good choice for the RIB cell. Also shown is that the appropriate SET pulse time is lOOns for the low power consumption and fast operation.

The formation heterogeneity is considered as one of the major factors limiting the application of foam *** this paper,influences of formation properties,such as permeability,permeability distribution,interlayer,sedimentary rhythm and 3D heterogeneity,on the mobility control capability and oil displacement efficiency of foam flooding,were systematically investigated using 2D homogeneous and 2D/3D heterogeneous models under 120°C and salinity of 20×10~4 mg/*** flow resistance of foam was promoted as the permeability increased,which thus resulted in a considerable oil recovery *** the scenario of the vertical heterogeneous formations,it was observed that the permeability of the high-permeable layer was crucial to foam mobility control,and the positive rhythm appeared favorable to improve the foam flooding *** additional oil recovery increased to about 40%.The interlayer was favorable for the increases in mobility reduction factor and oil recovery of foam flooding when the low permeability ratio was *** the 3D heterogeneous formations,foam could efficiently adjust the areal and vertical heterogeneity through mobility control and gravity segregation,and thus enhancing the oil recovery to 11%–14%.The results derived from this work may provide some insight for the field test designs of foam flooding.

A comparative study is carried out on the effciency of five different random walk strategies searching on directed networks constructed based on several typical complex *** to the difference in search effciency of the strategies rooted in network clustering,the clustering coeFfcient in a random walker's eye on directed networks is defined and computed to be half of the corresponding undirected *** search processes are performed on the directed networks based on Erd(o)s-Rényi model,Watts-Strogatz model,Barabási-Albert model and clustered scale-free network *** is found that self-avoiding random walk strategy is the best search strategy for such directed *** to unrestricted random walk strategy,path-iteration-avoiding random walks can also make the search process much more ***,no-triangle-loop and no-quadrangle-loop random walks do not improve the search effciency as expected,which is different from those on undirected networks since the clustering coefficient of directed networks are smaller than that of undirected networks.

Acicular Ferrite(AF) is beneficial in welds because it provides a tough and strong ***,much works have been done in the study of the effect of alloying elements and welding conditions aimed at obtaining more AF in the weld ***,the knowledge about the nature of AF is limited due to the lack of kinetics *** this paper,the kinetic curves of AF transformation in an X65 weld metal were established by means of welding thermal simulation *** results showed that AF transformation is a typical diffusion process of nucleation and growth with incubation *** transformation in weld metal obeys the relationship described by JMA *** effect of welding heat input was also studied.

Oridonin,one of the active ingredients in Rabdosia rubescens(***),has been reported to induce cell apoptosis and cell cycle arrest in many *** extraction methods tend to result in unsatisfied enrichment and poor quality of oridonin present in a given *** paper aims to evaluate the performance and separation characteristics of four different macroporous resins to arrive at the most suitable methodology for the isolation and purification of highquality *** absorption kinetics,thermodynamic and dynamic adsorption were ***20 was selected for further study due to its high adsorption capacity of 32 mgg 1 and desorption ratio with 98.5%.The pseudosecondorder model was considered to be the most suitable for kinetic results,and Langmuir model was chosen to better describe the absorption *** optimum conditions(flow rate of 4 ml min 1,bed depth with 6 cm and initial concentration of 2.15 mg·ml^1),the effective content of oridonin increased from 33.9%to 79.1%in the dry extract with a recovery of 81%and the purity of oridonin improved from 76%to 93%.The results confirm that HP20 provides an efficient method to purify most oridonin from ***.

{3-[2-(2-methoxyethoxy) ethoxy]-propyl} triethoxysilane (TESM2) was synthesized and used as an electrolyte additive to improve the performances of lithium-ion batteries (LIBs). The electrochemical properties of the electrolyte (1 mol/L lithium hexafluorophosphate (LiPF 6 )/ethylene carbonate (EC):diethylene carbonate (DEC):dimethyl carbonate (DMC), 1:1:1) with different contents of TESM2 were characterized by ionic conductivity measurement, galvanostatic charge/discharge test of graphite/Li half cells, and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy. Both the cycling performances and C-rate capabilities of graphite/Li half cells were significantly improved with an optimized content of 15% TESM2 in the electrolyte. The graphite/Li half cell delivered a very high specific capacity of 370 mAh/g at 0.2C rate without any capacity loss for 60 cycles, and retained a capacity of 292 mAh/g at 2C rate. The solid electrolyte interphase (SEI) film on the surface of the graphite anode was investigated by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDS), indicating that TESM2 was effectively involved in the formation of SEI film on the surface of graphite.

Although a few high-strength biodegradable Zn alloys with yield strengths(YSs)over 300 MPa in rolled state have been developed,their elongations(ELs)are generally less than 30%.This study developed rolled Zn-2Cu-x Li(x=0.2 wt.%,0.5 wt.%,0.8 wt.%)alloys with YSs of 316-335 MPa and ELs of 44%-61%.Three-dimensional atom probe(3DAP)and time of flight secondary ion mass spectrometry(TOF-SIMS)were employed to characterize Li *** kinds of Zn-Cu-Li ternary phases are identified,which are blockyε′-(Cu_(0.5),Li_(0.5))Zn 4,blockyβ′-(Li_(0.9),Cu_(0.1))Zn 4,and small roundγparticles with high Li content in the annealed *** identified phases are Zn,β-LiZn 4,andε-CuZn 4 *** the increase of Li content in the alloys,ε′phase with 6.50 at.%Cu transforms intoβ′phase with 2.12 at.%Cu,i.e.,the average level in the ***ε′phase,there exist nano-scale Li clusters andεphase,resulting inε′/ε*** Zn laths precipitate fromβ′phase,resulting inβ′/Zn lamellar *** lamel-lar structure is the matrix of Zn-2Cu-0.8Li and leads to near-isotropic *** tests show that degradation rates fall in the range of 153-196μm/year,which decrease with Li *** the alloys exert positive effects on the growth of MC3T3-E1 cells with 10%*** research reveals how microstructure evolves in Zn-2Cu-x Li alloys,which lays the foundation for their future applications.

To investigate the feasibility of developing biobased and biodegradable thermochromic fibers,poly(lactic acid)(PLA)fibers with visual temperature indicator functionality were fabricated using a scalable melt spinning technique(spinning speed 800 m/min),where PLA and thermochromic microcapsules were used as fiber-forming polymers and color indicators,*** effect of thermochromic microcapsules on the mechanical properties and reversible color-changing function of PLA fibers was systematically investigated to achieve high tenacity and sensitive color-changing *** difference in the fiber performance was connected to changes in the multilayer *** results show that PLA fibers exhibit excellent tenacity of 3.7-4.7 cN/dtex and reversible and stable thermochromic behavior over 31℃.The high fraction of mesophase within TPLA-1 fiber plays an important role in its ***,the low-concentration of microcapsules(~1 wt%)with good dispersion could act as a nucleating agent inside the PLA matrix and contribute to the formation of microcrystals in the amorphous between primary lamellae,which is also beneficial to maintain the tenacity of the *** agglomeration of high-concentration microcapsules within PLA fibers hampered the formation of mesophase,resulting in a decrease in fiber *** from the content of microcapsules,the agglomeration of high-concentration microcapsules(>5 wt%)is the main reason that limits the substantial increase in fiber color *** study opens up new possibilities for degradable thermochromic fibers produced using standard industrial spinning technology.

BACKGROUND Treatment-refractory schizophrenia(TRS),accounting for approximately 30%of all schizophrenia cases,has poor treatment response and prognosis despite treatment with antipsychotic *** To analyze the therapeutic effectiveness of repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation(rTMS)combined with olanzapine(OLZ)and amisulpride(AMI)for TRS and its influence on the patient’s cognitive *** This study enrolled 114 TRS patients who received treatment at the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University between July 2019 and July *** addition to the basic OLZ+AMI therapy,54 cases of the control group(Con group)received modified electroconvulsive therapy,while 60 cases of the research group(Res group)received *** on therapeutic effectiveness,safety(incidence of drowsiness,headache,nausea,vomiting,or memory impairment),Positive and Negative Symptom Scale,Montreal Cognitive Assessment Scale,and Schizophrenia Quality of Life Scale were collected from both cohorts for comparative *** The Res group elicited a higher overall response rate and better safety profile when compared with the Con ***,a significant reduction was observed in the post-treatment Positive and Negative Symptom Scale and Schizophrenia Quality of Life Scale scores of the Res group,presenting lower scores than those of the Con ***,a significant increase in the Montreal Cognitive Assessment Scale score was reported in the Res group,with higher scores than those of the Con *** The treatment of TRS with rTMS and OLZ+AMI is effective and ***,it can alleviate the patients’mental symptoms,improve their cognitive function and quality of life,and has a high clinical application value.
