Cobalt ferrite has problems such as poor impedance matching and high density,which results in unsatisfactory electromagnetic wave(EMW)absorption *** this study,the CoFe_(2)O_(4)@C core-shell structure composite was synthesized by a two-step hydrothermal method.X-ray diffraction,transmission electron microscopy,Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy,thermogravimetric analysis,and vector network analysis et *** used to test the structure and EMW absorption properties of CoFe_(2)O_(4)@C *** results show that the reflection loss(RL)of the CoFe_(2)O_(4)@C composite reaches the maximum value of25.66 dB at 13.92 GHz,and the effective absorbing band(EAB)is 4.59 GHz(11.20-15.79 GHz)when the carbon mass content is 6.01%.The RL and EAB of CoFe_(2)O_(4)@C composite are increased by 219.55%and 4.59 GHz respectively,and the density is decreased by 20.78%compared with the cobalt *** enhanced EMW absorption properties of CoFe_(2)O_(4)@C composite are attributed to the attenuation caused by the strong natural resonance of the cobalt ferrite,moreover,the carbon coating layer adjusts the impedance matching of the composite,and the introduced dipole polarization and interface polarization can cause multiple Debye relaxation processes.

Agasicles hygrophila has been introduced worldwide as a control agent for the invasive weed Alternanthera ***,global warming has potential impact on its controlling *** aim of this research was to explore the primary factors responsible for the greatly reduced *** population in hot *** imitate the temperature conditions in summers,different developmental stages of hygrophila were treated with high temperatures from 32.5℃ to 45℃ for 1-5 *** on the survival rate,the heat tolerance of each developmental stage was ranked from lowest to highest as follows:egg,1st,2nd,3rd instar larva,adult and *** showed the lowest heat tolerance with 37.5℃ as the critical temperature affecting larval *** treatment of the *** eggs at 37.5℃ for 1 h decreased the hatch rate to 24%.Our results indicated that when compared with the control at 25℃,1 h treatment at 37.5℃ prolonged the duration of the egg stage,shortened the duration of oviposition and total longevity,and changed the reproductive pattern of *** net reproductive rate,intrinsic rate and finite rate were all significantly *** results suggest that low heat tolerance of the eggs was the major factor responsible for the reduction of *** populations,and the key temperature was 37.5°***,appropriate measures should be taken to protect eggs in order to maintain the efficacy of *** in the biological control of *** in hot summers.

Myelin-associated glycoprotein（MAG） inhibits the growth of neurites from nerve cells. Extraction and purification of MAG require complex operations; therefore, we attempted to determine whether commercially available MAG-Fc can replace endogenous MAG for research purposes. Immunofluorescence using specific antibodies against MAG, Nogo receptor（NgR） and paired immunoglobulin-like receptor B（PirB） was used to determine whether MAG-Fc can be endocytosed by neuro-2a cells. In addition, neurite outgrowth of neuro-2a cells treated with different doses of MAG-Fc was evaluated. Enzyme linked immunosorbent assays were used to measure RhoA activity. Western blot assays were conducted to assess Rho-associated protein kinase（ROCK） phosphorylation. Neuro-2a cells expressed NgR and PirB, and MAG-Fc could be endocytosed by binding to NgR and PirB. This activated intracellular signaling pathways to increase RhoA activity and ROCK phosphorylation, ultimately inhibiting neurite outgrowth. These findings not only verify that MAG-Fc can inhibit the growth of neural neurites by activating RhoA signaling pathways, similarly to endogenous MAG, but also clearly demonstrate that commercial MAG-Fc is suitable for experimental studies of neurite outgrowth.

A mouse chemokine MIP-2(macrophage in-flamatory protein 2) is constitutively expressed not only by peritoneal macrophages, but also by fresh thymic stromal cells, based on RT-PCR detection. Moreover, the specific receptor of MIP-2 is expressed at different levels among four main subgroups of murine thymocytes including DN, DP, CD4SP and CD8SP. By the chemotaxis assays with Boyden chamber, we proved that the recombinant mouse MIP-2 can chemoattract the four main subgroups of thymocytes in different degrees, it mainly chemoattract the DP and SP subgroups. We firstly reported that MIP-2 is involved in the regulation of the directional migration of developing thymocytes.

Meiosis is the process of producing haploid gametes through a series of complex chromosomal events and the coordinated action of various *** mitochondrial protease complex(ClpXP),which consists of caseinolytic mitochondrial matrix peptidase X(ClpX)and caseinolytic protease P(ClpP)and mediates the degradation of misfolded,damaged,and oxidized proteins,is essential for maintaining mitochondrial *** has been implicated in meiosis regulation,but its precise role is currently *** this study,we engineered an inducible male germ cell-specific knockout caseinolytic mitochondrial matrix peptidase X(Clpx^(cKO))mouse model to investigate the function of ClpX in *** found that disrupting Clpx in male mice induced germ cell apoptosis and led to an absence of sperm in the ***,it caused asynapsis of homologous chromosomes and impaired meiotic recombination,resulting in meiotic arrest in the zygotene-to-pachytene transition *** loss of ClpX compromised the double-strand break(DSB)repair machinery by markedly reducing the recruitment of DNA repair protein RAD51 homolog 1(RAD51)to DSB *** dysfunction may be due to an insufficient supply of energy from the aberrant mitochondria in Clpx^(cKO) spermatocytes,as discerned by electron ***,ubiquitination signals on chromosomes and the expression of oxidative phosphorylation subunits were both significantly attenuated in Clpx^(cKO) *** together,we propose that ClpX is essential for maintaining mitochondrial protein homeostasis and ensuring homologous chromosome pairing,synapsis,and recombination in spermatocytes during meiotic prophase I.
