BACKGROUND Functional constipation(FC)is a common and chronic gastrointestinal disease and its treatment remains *** To evaluate the efficacy and safety of Chinese herbal medicine(CHM)on efficacy rate,global symptoms,bowel movements and the Bristol Stool Scale score in patients with FC by summarizing current available randomized controlled trials(RCTs).METHODS RCTs with CHM to treat FC were identified by a systematic search of six databases from inception to October 20,*** independent reviewers assessed the quality of the included articles and extracted ***-analyses were performed to odds ratio(OR),mean differences(MD)and 95%confidence interval(CI)using random-effects *** analyses and sensitivity analyses were used to explore and interpret the sources of *** funnel plot,Begg’s test and Egger’s test were used to detect publication *** Ninety-seven studies involving 8693 patients were included in this *** was significantly associated with a higher efficacy rate(OR:3.62,95%CI:3.19-4.11,Pld not be reached because of the poor quality of the included *** trials with higher quality are required.

Objective:Functional constipation(FC)is a common intestinal disease *** the presence of criteria such as Roman IV,there is no standardized diagnosis and treatment algorithm in Hong Kong that combines both Western and Chinese medicine *** study integrates current effective and safe diagnosis and treatment methods for FC and provides a clear and scientific pathway for clinical professionals and ***:A systematic search of the PubMed,Cochrane Library,and China National Knowledge Infrastructure databases was performed from their inception to June 30th,2022,collecting the current evidence about the efficacious integrative management for *** organized a meeting of professionals in fields relevant to treatment and management of FC to develop a consensus agreement on clinical pathway ***:We developed a clinical pathway for the treatment of FC based on the most recent published guidelines and consultation with *** pathway includes a hierarchy of recommendations for every step of the clinical process,including clinical intake,diagnostic examination,recommended labs,diagnostic flowchart,and guidance for selection of therapeutic ***:This pathway establishes clinical standards for the diagnosis and treatment of FC using Chinese medicine and Western medicine;it will help to provide high-quality medical services in Hong Kong for patients with FC.

BACKGROUND Irritable bowel syndrome(IBS)and functional constipation(FC)are two commonly encountered functional gastrointestinal disorders in clinical practice and are usually managed with Western medicines in cooperation with traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)*** clinical practice guidelines(CPGs)have been developed to assist clinicians with their decisions,there are still gaps in management with regard to integrative medicine(IM)*** To comprehensively review the currently available CPGs and to provide a reference for addressing the gaps in IBS and FC *** We searched mainstream English and Chinese databases and collected data from January 1990 to January *** search was additionally enriched by manual searches and the use of publicly available *** on the development method,the guidelines were classified into evidence-based(EB)guidelines,consensus-based(CB)guidelines,and consensus-based guidelines with no comprehensive consideration of the EB(CB-EB)*** regard to the recommendations,the strength of the interventions was uniformly converted to a 4-point grading *** Thirty CPGs met the inclusion criteria and were captured as data extraction *** Western medicine(WM)CPGs were developed as EB *** TCM CPGs and most IM CPGs were identified as CB *** the 2011 IBS and IM CPG was a CB-EB set of *** and peppermint oil for pain,loperamide for diarrhea,and linaclotide for constipation polyethylene glycol and lactulose as osmotic laxatives,bisacodyl and sodium picosulfate as stimulant laxatives,lubiprostone and linaclotide as prosecretory agents,and prucalopride were strongly recommended or recommended in *** interventions were suggested based on pattern differentiation,while the recommendation level was considered to be weak or *** WM CPGs generally provide a comprehensive management algorithm,although there are still s

Background Stroke is a major cause of death or long-term disability *** patients with stroke receive integrative therapy consisting of Western medicine(WM)and routine rehabilitation in conjunction with Chinese medicine(CM),such as acupuncture and Chinese herbal ***,there is no available evidence on the effectiveness of the combined use of WM and CM interventions in stroke *** The purpose of this meta-analysis is to evaluate the results of all individual studies to assess the combined use of CM and WM in stroke rehabilitation compared with WM *** The Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analysis guidelines were ***,EMBASE,Cochrane and China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI)were *** included outcomes were dependency,motor function,depression and swallowing *** analysis was performed,and publication bias was assessed using funnel *** of review 58 studies and 6339 patients were included in the *** analysis revealed that combined therapy comprising both acupuncture and WM had a superior effect on improving dependency and swallowing function compared with standard WM therapy *** superiority of combined therapy comprising CM and WM in improving depression compared with standard WM therapy was also *** Our results indicate that the combined use of CM and WM could be more efficacious in stroke rehabilitation compared with the use of WM therapy ***,most studies were short in duration(2 to 4 weeks)and prone to different types of biases,which prevents making any conclusion regarding the long-term effects and raises concerns regarding true efficacy in context of high likelihood of Hawthorn ***,more randomised controlled trials with more rigorous design and longer duration of treatment and follow-up need to be conducted to compare WM alone versus WM and CM combined.

Electrochemical nitrogen reduction reaction(ENRR) provides a promising strategy to achieve sustainable synthesis of ammonia. However, despite great efforts devoted to this research field, the problems such as low energy efficiency and weak selectivity still impede its practical implementation. Most of the research to date has been concentrated on creating sophisticated electrocatalysts, and adequate knowledge of electrolytes is still lacking. Herein, the recent progress in electrolytes for ENRR, including alkaline, neutral,acidic, water-in-salt, organic, ionic liquid, and mixed water-organic electrolytes, is thoroughly reviewed to obtain an in-depth understanding of their effects on electrocatalytic performance. Recently developed representative electrocatalysts in various types of electrolytes are also introduced, and future research priorities of different electrolytes are proposed to develop new and efficient ENRR systems.

目的探讨利妥昔单抗联合吉西他滨+顺铂+地塞米松(GDP)方案治疗非霍奇金淋巴瘤患者的效果及对免疫功能的影响。方法选取2020年3月至2022年8月我院收治的106例非霍奇金淋巴瘤患者,根据治疗方案不同将其分为对照组(53例)和观察组(53例)。对照组采用GDP方案治疗,观察组在对照组基础上加用利妥昔单抗治疗。比较两组的治疗效果。结果观察组的疾病控制率(DCR)为96.23%,高于对照组的84.91%,差异具有统计学意义(P0.05)。结论利妥昔单抗联合GDP方案治疗非霍奇金淋巴瘤患者效果显著,可改善免疫功能,降低血清肿瘤标志物水平,且用药安全性高。
