Persistent hepatic cellular metabolic stress and liver inflammatory stimuli are key signatures of nonalcoholic steatohepatitis(NASH).DDX3X is a vital molecule involved in cell fate decisions in both pro-survival stress granule(SG)and pro-death NOD-like receptor family pyrin domain containing 3(NLRP3)inflammasome assembly in response to stress ***,the role of DDX3X in NASH remains *** characterized the cell type-specific roles of DDX3X in *** liver tissues from NASH patients and normal control subjects were collected to assess DDX3X expression and *** steatohepatitis models were constructed by feeding macrophage-specific DDX3X knockout(DDX3^(XΔMφ)),hepatocyte-specific DDX3X knockout(DDX3X^(Δhep)),and wild-type control(DDX3X^(fl/fl))mice a high-fat and high-cholesterol(HFHC)diet,a methionine-and choline-deficient(MCD)diet,and a high-fat/high-iron/high-fructose/high-cholesterol,low-methionine,and choline-deficient(HFHIHFHC-MCD)*** study demonstrated that DDX3X was predominantly expressed in macrophages and hepatocytes in control liver tissues,and its expression was down-regulated in patients or mice with *** to DDX3X^(fl/fl) littermates,DDX3^(XΔMφ)mice showed improved liver histology in nutritional steatohepatitis *** of macrophage DDX3X inhibited NLRP3 inflammasome-mediated pyroptosis,causing anti-inflammatory M2 polarization and alleviating hepatocyte steatohepatitic ***3X^(Δhep) mice developed marked steatohepatitis in multiple nutritional steatohepatitis models compared to DDX3X^(fl/fl) ***3X-deleted hepatocytes showed impaired SG assembly,leading to increased sensitivity and intolerance to metabolic stimulation and resultant *** conclusion,DDX3X plays opposite roles in different cell types during the progression of NASH.A better understanding of the cell-specific differences in the crosstalk between SG formation and NLRP3 activation is crucial for developing pr

Multiscale Characteristics and Connection Mechanisms of Attraction Networks:A Trajectory Data Mining Approach Leveraging Geotagged Data

Urban tourism is considered a complex system,and multiscale exploration of the organizational patterns of attraction networks has become a topical issue in urban tourism,so exploring the multiscale characteristics and connection mechanisms of attraction networks is important for understanding the linkages between attractions and even the future destination *** paper uses geotagging data to compare the links between attractions in Beijing,China during four different periods:the pre-Olympic period(2004–2007),the Olympic Games and subsequent‘heat period’(2008–2013),the post-Olympic period(2014–2019),and the COVID-19(Corona Virus Disease 2019)pandemic period(2020–2021).The aim is to better understand the evolution and patterns of attraction networks at different scales in Beijing and to provide insights for tourism planning in the *** results show that the macro,meso-,and microscales network characteristics of attraction networks have inherent logical relationships that can explain the commonalities and differences in the development process of tourism *** macroscale attraction network degree Matthew effect is significant in the four different periods and exhibits a morphological monocentric structure,suggesting that new entrants are more likely to be associated with attractions that already have high *** mesoscale links attractions according to the common purpose of tourists,and the results of the community segmentation of the attraction networks in the four different periods suggest that the functional polycentric structure describes their clustering effect,and the weak links between clusters result from attractions bound by incomplete information and distance,and the functional polycentric structure with a generally more efficient network of *** pattern structure at the microscale reveals the topological transformation relationship of the regional collaboration pattern,and the attraction network structure in the four diff

The deviation in wall thickness caused by core shift during the investment casting process significantly impacts the strength and service life of hollow turbine *** address this issue,a core shift limitation method is developed in this ***,a shift model is established based on computational fluid dynamics and motion simulation to predict the movement of the ceramic core in investment casting ***,utilizing this model,an optimization method for fixturing layout inside the refractory ceramic shell is devised for the ceramic *** casting experiment demonstrates that by utilizing the optimized fixture layout,not only can core shift during the investment casting pouring process be effectively controlled,but also the maximum wall thickness error of the blade can be reduced by 42.02%.In addition,the core shift prediction is also validated,with a prediction error of less than 26.9%.

CFD-DEM simulation of fluorination reaction in fluidized beds with local grid and time refinement method

The gas-solid reaction process with wide particle size distribution is extensively used in the chemical engineering field,especially the particle reacts with the gas gradually,such as fluorination reactions in fluidized *** the computational fluid dynamics-discrete element method(CFD-DEM)is used for the coupling simulation of multiphase and polydisperse particle reaction system,the grid size directly affects the accuracy of flow field information and simulation of chemical ***,particle calculation time step will directly affect the efficiency of coupling *** this work,a local grid and time step refinement method is proposed to simulate multiphase and polydisperse particle fluid-ization reaction *** this method,the refined DEM grids are automatically generated in the computational domain around the fine particles,and the detailed fluid phase information is obtained with the interpolation *** the two-phase coupling process,particles are divided into different groups based on physical properties,each group has its own independent time *** multistage conical-cylindrical spouted bed is proposed for the fluorination reaction process;the operating gas ve-locity range of the polydisperse particle system is extended by the new design while the particle size distribution changes with the gas-solid reaction *** is demonstrated that the local grid and time step refinement method can improve the accuracy and efficiency of the traditional CFD-DEM method in the reaction process simulation,which describes a polydisperse particle system with wide particle size *** at improving the simulation accuracy and efficiency,this paper will be helpful for simulating the particle reaction process in the gas-solid fluidized bed and beneficial for the development of the CFD-DEM method.

Mechanism of local solidification time variations with melt rate during vacuum arc remelting process of 8Cr4Mo4V high-strength steel

A 2D axisymmetric numerical model was established to investigate the variations of molten pool with different melt rates during the vacuum arc remelting of 8Cr4Mo4V high-strength steel,and the ingot growth was simulated by dynamic mesh *** results show that as the ingot grows,the molten pool profile changes from shallow and flat to V-shaped,and both the molten pool depth and the mushy width ***,the variation of both the molten pool shape and the mushy width melt rate is clarified by the thermal equilibrium *** melt rate increases,both the molten pool depth and the mushy width *** is caused by the increment in sensible heat stored in the ingot due to the limitation of the cooling capacity of the *** nonlinear increment in sensible heat leads to a nonlinear increase in the mushy *** addition,as melt rate increases,the local solidification time(LST)of ingot decreases obviously at first and then *** melt rate is controlled in a suitable range,LST is the lowest and the secondary dendrite arm spacing of the ingot is the smallest,which can effectively improve the compactness degree of 8Cr4Mo4V high-strength steel.

A Reverse Path Planning Approach for Enhanced Performance of Multi-Degree-of-Freedom Industrial Manipulators

Development of Superhydrophobic Nano-SiO_(2)and Its Field Application in Low-permeability,High-temperature,and High-salinity Oil Reservoirs

In this study,to meet the stringent requirements on the hydrophobicity of nano-SiO_(2)particles for use in depressurization and enhanced injection operations in high-temperature and high-salinity oil reservoirs,secondary chemical grafting modification of nano-SiO_(2)is performed using a silane coupling agent to prepare superhydrophobic nano-SiO_(2) *** these superhydrophobic nano-SiO_(2)particles as the core agent,and liquid paraffin or diesel as the dispersion medium,a uniform dispersion of nano-SiO_(2)particles is achieved under high-speed stirring,and a chemically enhanced water injection system with colloidal stability that can be maintained for more than 60 d is successfully *** this system,a field test of depressurization and enhanced injection is carried out on six wells in an oilfield,and the daily oil production level is increased by 11 *** cumulative increased water injection is 58784 m^(3),the effective rate of the measures was 100%,and the average validity period is 661 d.

High-Performance Anion Exchange Membrane Fuel Cells Enabled by Nitrogen Configuration Optimization in Graphene-Coated Nickel for Enhanced Hydrogen Oxidation

Anion exchange membrane fuel cell （AEMFC） technology is attracting intensive attention,due to its great potential by using non-precious-metal catalysts （NPMCs） in the cathode and cheap bipolar plate materials in alkaline ***,in such case,the kinetics of hydrogen oxidation reaction （HOR） in the anode is two orders of magnitude sluggish than that of acidic electrolytes,which is recognized as the grand challenge in this ***,we report the rationally designed Ni nanoparticles encapsulated by N-doped graphene layers （Ni@NG） using a facile pyrolysis *** on the density functional theory calculations and electrochemical performance analysis,it is witnessed that the rich Pyridinic-N within the graphene shell optimizes the binding energy of the intermediates,thus enabling the fundamentally enhanced activity for HOR with robust *** a proof of concept,the resultant Ni@NG sample as the anode with a low loading(1.8 mg cm-2) in AEMFCs delivers a high peak power density of500 mW cm-2,outperforming all of those of NPMC-based analogs ever reported.

Time-dependent longitudinal responses of a shield tunnel induced by surcharge load:Theoretical prediction and analysis

The surcharge load at the ground surface inevitably breaks the original equilibrium state between the underneath tunnel and the surrounding soil,which will impact the service performance of a subway *** paper presents a novel semi-analytical approach for assessing the time-dependent,longitudinal responses of a subway tunnel in soft soil strata induced by the surcharge *** solution is developed based on the framework of the classical"two-stage method"but innovatively incorporates the effects of ground stratification,the consolidation process,and the longitudinal stiffness reduction of the ***’s poroelastic theory in conjunction with the Laplace-Fourier transform technique is selected to model the deformation of the stratified ground,while the Timoshenko beam on a Pasternak foundation is employed to model the mechanical responses of the *** proposed semi-analytical solution is validated not only by comparison with benchmark solutions and a finite element model,but also by predicting a well-documented field *** analyses are conducted to investigate the effects of the elastic modulus and the permeability coefficient of the stratified ground on the longitudinal responses of the *** is expected that the proposed solution can serve as a useful tool for evaluating the effects of the surcharge load on the longitudinal responses of a subway tunnel.
