Structural characteristics and tectonic division of the Zambezi Delta basin in the offshore East Africa:evidences from gravity and seismic data

The Zambezi Delta basin is a passive marginal basin located on the East African coast that has good oil and gas exploration *** to the special geological evolutionary background of the Beira High in the Zambezi Delta basin,it has a low gravity anomaly,and the existing seismic survey lines do not cover the whole basin;therefore,it is difficult to interpret the structural characteristics of the whole basin based solely on gravity or seismic *** on satellite altimetry gravity anomaly data,this study infers the distribution characteristics of faults in the Zambezi Delta basin by using the normalized vertical derivative of the total horizontal derivative(NVDR-THDR)***,constrained by seismic data,the gravity anomaly at the Moho interface is extracted by using the fast forward method of the double-interface model of the gravity anomaly,and this anomaly is then removed from the Bouguer gravity anomaly to obtain the sedimentary layer gravity *** thickness of the sedimentary strata is obtained by inversing the sedimentary basement depth of the whole ***,uplifts and depressions are divided based on a sedimentary layer thickness of 3 *** research demonstrates that the Zambezi Delta basin mainly features nearly SN-trending and NE-trending faults and that these faults exhibit east-west *** nearly SN-trending strike-slip faults controlled the sedimentary development of the basin,and the NE-trending tensile faults may have acted as migration channels for oil,gas and ***“overcompensation”effect of the Moho interface gravity anomaly on the gravity anomaly of the sedimentary layer is caused by the depression of the Moho interface beneath the Beira High,which results in a low gravity anomaly value for the Beira *** pattern of uplifts and depressions trends NE and has the structural characteristics of east-west blocks.

Although covalent organic frameworks(COFs)with highπ-conjugation have recently exhibited great prospects in perovskite solar cells(PSCs),their further application in PSCs is still hindered by face-to-face stacking and aggregation ***,metal-organic framework(MOF-808)is selected as an ideal platform for the in situ homogeneous growth of a COF to construct a core-shell MOF@COF nanoparticle,which could effectively inhibit COF stacking and *** synergistic intrinsic mechanisms induced by the MOF@COF nanoparticles for reinforcing intrinsic stability and mitigating lead leakage in PSCs have been *** complementary utilization ofπ-conjugated skeletons and nanopores could optimize the crystallization of large-grained perovskite films and eliminate *** resulting PSCs achieve an impressive power conversion efficiency of 2..61%with superior open circuit voltage(1.2. V)and maintained approximately 90%of the original power conversion efficiency after 2.00 h(30-50%RH and 2.-30℃).Benefiting from the synergistic effects of the in situ chemical fixation and adsorption abilities of the MOF@COF nanoparticles,the amount of lead leakage from unpackaged PSCs soaked in water(<5 ppm)satisfies the laboratory assessment required for the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act Regulation.

The emergence of various new services has posed a huge challenge to the existing network *** improve the network delay and backhaul pressure,caching popular contents at the edge of network has been considered as a feasible ***,how to efficiently utilize the limited caching resources to cache diverse contents has been confirmed as a tough problem in the past *** this paper,considering the time-varying user requests and the heterogeneous content sizes,a user preference aware hierarchical cooperative caching strategy in edge-user caching architecture is *** divide the caching strategy into three phases,that is,the content placement,the content delivery and the content *** the content placement phase,a cooperative content placement algorithm for local content popularity is designed to cache contents *** the content delivery phase,a cooperative delivery algorithm is proposed to deliver the cached *** the content update phase,a content update algorithm is proposed according to the popularity of the ***,the proposed caching strategy is validated using the MovieLens dataset,and the results reveal that the proposed strategy improves the delay performance by at least 35.3%compared with the other three benchmark strategies.

Developing advanced hydrogen storage materials with high capacity and efficient reversibility is a crucial aspect for utilizing hydrogen source as a promising alternate to fossil *** this paper,we have systematically investigated the hydrogen storage properties of neutral and negatively charged C_(9)N_(4) monolayer based on density functional theory(DFT).Our foundings indicate that injecting additional electrons into the adsorbent significantly boosts the adsorption capacity of C_(9)N_(4) monolayer to H2.*** gravimetric density of negatively charged C_(9)N_(4) monolayer can reach up to 10.80 wt% when fully covered with *** other hydrogen storage methods,the storage and release processes happen automatically upon introducing or removing extra ***,these operations can be easily adjusted through activating or deactivating the charging *** a result,the method is easily reversible and has tunable kinetics without requiring particular ***,C_(9)N_(4) is proved to be a suitable candidate for efficient electron injection/release due to its well electrical *** work can serve as a valuable guide in the quest for a novel category of materials for hydrogen storage with high capacity.

Owing to the anaerobic metabolism in the tumor,abundant acidic metabolites are produced and accumulated in the ***,the cells in different tumor layers are directly linked to the pH ***,due to the lack of robust tools,the high-efficient evaluation of the acidic micro-environment of tumor stratification faces the challenge of accurate *** designed a new pH sensitive fluorescent lifetime probe target to *** we expected,the fluorescence lifetime of PLN possesses a good linear fit to the pH value,which could detect the pH change at a single lysosome level in real time,and then evaluate the different acidity of tumor *** probe PLN is successfully used to evaluate the tumor stratification by fluorescence lifetime imaging microscopy(FLIM)for the first time,which is of great significance in the preoperative diagnosis of clinical tumor treatment or evaluation of drug delivery effect.

An efficient electrocatalyst is indispensable to significantly reduce energy consumption and accelerate the conversion efficiency of water *** this work,the honeycomb-like porous MoCo alloy on nitrogen-doped three-dimensional(3D)porous graphene substrate(Mo_(0.3)Co_(0.7)@NPG)has been synthesized from the annealing of layered double hydroxide(MoCo-LDH@NPG).Especially,the Mo_(0.3)Co_(0.7)@NPG exhibits low hydrogen evolution overpotential of 75 mV(10 mA·cm^(-2.)and a Tafel slope of 69.9 mV·dec^(-1),which can be attributed to highly conductive NPG substrate,the unique nanostructure and the synergistic effect of Mo and ***,the Mo_(0.3)Co_(0.7)@NPG can maintain the original morphology and high catalytic activity after 50-h stability *** work proposes a general strategy to synthesize a multi-element alloy on conductive substrates with high porosity for electrocatalytic reaction.

A multi-mechanism numerical simulation model for CO_(2.-EOR and storage in fractured shale oil reservoirs

Under the policy background and advocacy of carbon capture,utilization,and storage(CCUS),CO_(2.-EOR has become a promising direction in the shale oil reservoir *** multi-scale pore structure distribution and fracture structure lead to complex multiphase flow,comprehensively considering multiple mechanisms is crucial for development and CO_(2. storage in fractured shale *** this paper,a multi-mechanism coupled model is developed by *** to the traditional Eclipse300 and MATLAB Reservoir Simulation Toolbox(MRST),this model considers the impact of pore structure on fluid phase behavior by the modified Peng—Robinson equation of state(PR-EOS),and the effect simultaneously radiate to Maxwell—Stefan(M—S)diffusion,stress sensitivity,the nano-confinement(NC)***,a modified embedded discrete fracture model(EDFM)is used to model the complex fractures,which optimizes connection types and half-transmissibility calculation approaches between non-neighboring connections(NNCs).The full implicit equation adopts the finite volume method(FVM)and Newton—Raphson iteration for discretization and *** model verification with the Eclipse300 and MRST is *** results show that the interaction between the mechanisms significantly affects the production performance and storage *** effect of molecular diffusion may be overestimated in oil-dominated(liquid-dominated)shale *** well spacing and injection gas rate are the most crucial factors affecting the production by sensitivity ***,the potential gas invasion risk is *** model provides a reliable theoretical basis for CO_(2.-EOR and sequestration in shale oil reservoirs.

The accurate estimation of parameters is the premise for establishing a high-fidelity simulation model of a valve-controlled cylinder *** test data are easily obtained,but it is challenging to emulate actual loads in the research on parameter estimation of valve-controlled cylinder *** the actual load information contained in the operating data of the control valve,its acquisition remains *** paper proposes a method that fuses bench test and operating data for parameter estimation to address the aforementioned *** proposed method is based on Bayesian theory,and its core is a pool fusion of prior information from bench test and operating ***,a system model is established,and the parameters in the model are ***,the bench and operating data of the system are ***,the model parameters and weight coefficients are estimated using the data fusion ***,the estimated effects of the data fusion method,Bayesian method,and particle swarm optimisation(PSO)algorithm on system model parameters are *** research shows that the weight coefficient represents the contribution of different prior information to the parameter estimation *** effect of parameter estimation based on the data fusion method is better than that of the Bayesian method and the PSO *** load complexity leads to a decrease in model accuracy,highlighting the crucial role of the data fusion method in parameter estimation studies.

Development of CONTHAC-3D and hydrogen distribution analysis of HPR1000

An in-house code,CONTHAC-3D,was developed to calculate and analyze thermal-hydraulic phenomena in containments during severe ***-3D is a three-dimensional computational fluid dynamics code that can be applied to predict gas flow,diffusion,and steam condensation in a containment during a severe hypothetical accident,as well as to obtain an estimate of the local hydrogen concentration in various zones of the ***-3D was developed using multiple models to simulate the features of the proprietary systems and equipment of HPR1000 and ACP100,such as the passive cooling system,passive autocatalytic recombiners and the passive air cooling *** validate CONTHAC-3D,a GX6 test was performed at the Battelle Model Containment *** hydrogen concentration and temperature monitored by the GX6 test are accurately predicted by ***,the hydrogen distribution in the HPR1000 containment during a severe accident was *** results show that the hydrogen removal rates calculated using CONTHAC-3D for different types of PARs agree well with the theoretical values,with an error of less than 1%.As the accident progresses,the hydrogen concentration in the lower compartment becomes higher than that in the large space,which implies that the lower compartment has a higher hydrogen risk than the dome and large space at a later stage of the *** amount of hydrogen removed by the PARs placed on the floor of the compartment is small;therefore,raising the installation height of these recombiners appropriately is ***,we do not recommend installing all autocatalytic recombiners at high *** study findings in regard to the hydrogen distribution in the HPR1000 containment indicate that CONTHAC-3D can be applied to the study of hydrogen risk containment.
