The understanding of temperature and time-dependent metal borides precipitation/dissolution is crucial for the design of the transient liquid phase(TLP)bonding process of Ni-based *** however remains elusive despite substantial research efforts for many years mainly owing to the uncertainty on the precipitated metal borides and the complex thermo-kinetics in the *** this paper,we have unambiguously constructed the micro/nano scale map of the precipitated metal borides in the TLP bonded Ni-based Inconel 718 superalloy via a high-throughput transmission electron microscopy(TEM)*** types of metal borides were found to precipitate in the diffusion affected zone(DAZ)when the isothermal solidification is *** are the M_(5)B_(3)with stacking faults,Ti-rich M_(3)B4,and Nb-rich M_(3)B4 at the grain boundaries as well as single-crystalline M_(5)B_(3)and M_(3)B2 inside the ***,the crystal structure of the faulted M_(5)B_(3)was rationalized by a hybrid modelling approach integrating firstprinciples calculation and TEM *** sublattice model,with the optimized thermodynamic model parameters,was used to reproduce the metal borides precipitation map in the TLP process using DICTRA *** with multiscale simulation and experimental data,the present work built a modified thermo-kinetic model,which enables the design of the TLP bonding process of Ni-based alloys that often involves complicated time-tempe rature schedules and the precipitation/dissolution of a variety of diffe rent *** strategy can be applied to the design of the brazing process of other alloys or hybrid materials such as ceramics and metal.

Different covariate balance weighting methods have been proposed by researchers from different perspectives to estimate the treatment *** paper gives a brief review of the covariate balancing propensity score method by Imai and Ratkovic(2014),the stable balance weighting procedure by Zubizarreta(2015),the calibration balance weighting approach by Chan,et al.(2016),and the integrated propensity score technique by Sant’Anna,et al.(2020).Simulations are conducted to illustrate the finite sample performance of both the average treatment effect and quantile treatment effect estimators based on different weighting *** results show that in general,the covariate balance weighting methods can outperform the conventional maximum likelihood estimation method while the performance of the four covariate balance weighting methods varies with the data generating ***,the four covariate balance weighting methods are applied to estimate the treatment effects of the college graduate on personal annual income.

The key agreement protocols allow two or more users to negotiate a shared key for establishing a secure communication channel without a third trusted party in such a way that the shared key is determined by all authorized players rather than any subset of *** propose the first real multiparty semiquantum key agreement(SQKA)protocols based on *** protocols include only one quantum player,while the others are classical players who only need to measure and prepare states in the classical *** first present a symmetric three-party SQKA protocol,where two classical players can fairly negotiate a key with a quantum player by using single-photons as message *** we present an asymmetric SQKA protocol where a relatively low percentage of quantum states are used for eavesdropping *** we further extend them to an asymmetric multiparty SQKA *** SQKA protocols require fewer quantum resources than the previous SQKA protocols for classical players,especially without requirement of entanglement,which makes them easier to implement using current *** protocols are secure against external eavesdroppers and are fair against a minority of internal dishonest players.

Glioma stem cells are considered responsible for drug resistance and glioma relapse resulting in poor prognosis in glioblastoma multiforme. SU3 glioma cell is a highly invasive glioma stem cell line from the patients with glioblastoma multifrome. It is of great significance to study the efficacy and molecular mechanism for anticancer drug effects on SU3 glioma cells. In this work, we develop a liquid chromatography–mass spectrometry（LC–MS） method for direct analysis of the role of drugs（paclitaxel）on SU3 glioma cells at the molecular level. We use the specific fluorescence dyes to evaluate cell viability,the levels of ROS and GSH when the cells were treated with drugs. In addition, the LC–MS platform was successfully employed to detect the amount of 6-O-methylguanine, demonstrating that it is effective to induce cell apoptosis and enhance the cytotoxic response of SU3 glioma cells. The analytical linear equals are Y = 9.49 ？ 105 X ＋ 2.42 ？ 104 for 6-O-methylguanine（R2= 0.9998） and Y = 4.72 ？ 104 X ＋ 2.21 ？ 103（R2= 0.9996） for 7-methylguanine. Thus, the combination of cell-specific fluorescence dyes and LC–MS method enables us to reveal the molecular mechanism of paclitaxel-inhibited growth and enhanced therapeutic response in the chemotherapy for glioma multiforme.

An artificial intelligence technique of back-propagation neural networks is used to assess the slope ***-site slope failure data from the South Cross-Island Highway in southern Taiwan are used to test the performance of the neural network *** numerical results demonstrate the effectiveness of artificial neural networks in the evaluation of slope failure potential based on five major factors,such as the slope gradient angle,the slope height,the cumulative precipitation,daily rainfall and strength of materials.

The Changjiang（Yangtze）is one of the largest rivers in the *** formed a huge incised valley at its mouth during the Last Glacial Maximum;the incised-valley fill,approximately 80–110 m thick,supplies an important foundation for the generation of shallow biogenic-gas *** cores and 13 cone penetration tests were used to elaborate the characteristics,formation mechanism,and distribution of the shallow biogenic-gas reservoirs in the study *** natural gas is mainly composed of CH4（generally[95%）with a δ^13CCH4 and δ^13CCO2 of-75.8 to-67.7% and -34.5 to-6.6%,respectively,and a δDCH4 of-215 to-185%,indicating a biogenic origin by the carbon dioxide reduction *** biogenic gas occurs primarily in the sand bodies of fluvial-channel,floodplain,and paleo-estuary facies with a burial depth of 50–80 *** sources as well as cap beds are gray to yellowish-gray mud of floodplain,paleoestuary,and offshore shallow marine *** organic matter in gas sources is dominated by immature type Ⅲ kerogen（gas prone）.The difference in permeability（about4–6 orders of magnitude）between cap beds and reservoirs makes the cap beds effectively prevent the upward escape of gas in the *** formation mechanism is consistent with that for the shallow biogenic gas in the late Quaternary Qiantang River incised valley to the ***,this study should provide further insight into understanding the formation and distribution of shallow biogenic gas in other similar postglacial incised-valley systems.

To improve the straight edge seam defect on hot-rolled steel plates,the deformation and temperature distribution of rectangular slabs and chamfered slabs during rolling in a pilot rolling experiment were analyzed in detail using the finite element *** results showed that the crease formed on the lateral side near the edge of the plate as a result of uneven stress during broadside *** creases rose to the surface with unrestricted spread and evolved into a straight edge seam during the subsequent straight *** eliminate the straight edge seam defect,chamfered slabs were developed and investigated for *** use of the chamfered slabs provided two advantages for rolling：the distribution of the temperature near the edge was ameliorated,and the deformation shape was improved by the chamfered *** a result,the risk of forming a straight edge seam defect was reduced by the use of a chamfered slab.
