Confined Mn^(2+) enables effective aerobic oxidation catalysis

Effective and mild activation of O_(2) is essential but challenging for aerobic oxidation. In heterogeneous catalysis, high-valence manganese oxide(e.g., +4) is known to be active for the oxidation, whereas divalent MnO is ineffective due to its limited capacity to supply surface oxygen and its thermodynamically unstable structure when binding O_(2) in reaction conditions. Inspired by natural enzymes that rely on divalent Mn^(2+), we discovered that confining Mn^(2+) onto the Mn_(2)O_(3) surface through a dedicated calcination process creates highly active catalysts for the aerobic oxidation of 5-hydroxymethylfurfural, benzyl alcohol, and *** Mn_(2)O_(3)-confined Mn^(2+) is undercoordinated and efficiently mediates O_(2) activation, resulting in 2–3 orders of magnitude higher activity than Mn_(2)O_(3) alone. Through low-temperature infrared spectroscopy, we distinguished low-content Mn^(2+) sites at Mn_(2)O_(3) surface, which are difficult to be differentiated by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. The combination of in-situ energydispersive X-ray absorption spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction further provides insights into the formation of the newly identified active Mn^(2+) sites. By optimizing the calcination step, we were able to increase the catalytic activity threefold *** finding offers promising frontiers for exploring active oxidation catalysts by utilizing the confinement of Mn^(2+)and oftenignored calcination skills.

Efficient photocatalytic reduction of COto formate by a molecular noble metal-free system

Reducing CO2to carbon-neutral solar fuels can not only alleviate the energy demand but also mitigate the greenhouse *** present,developing an efficient non-noble metal photo/electrocatalytic system for converting CO2to a specific product beyond CO is still a big ***,we report a new cobalt complex bearing 2,2′-bi-1,10-phenanthroline ligand that can photocatalytically reduce CO2to formate （HCOO-）.Turnover number （TON） for HCOO-up to 677 with 99%selectivity can be achieved using organic dyes purpurin as photosensitizer and 1,3-dimethyl-2-phenyl-2,3-dihydro-1H-benzo[d]imidazole （BIH） as sacrificial reductant in a CO2-saturated NMP/TEA （v/v,3:1） solution under visible light *** potential electrolysis at-1.41 V （***/AgCl） in the presence of 12 mM Et3NHBF4also produced HCOO-with Faradaic efficiency of39%.Spectroscopic and electrochemical studies suggest that a[CoI-H]species is the key intermediate for CO2reduction.

Application of Echocardiography Combined with Blood SAA, IL-6, PCT, and CRP Detection in the Diagnosis and Treatment of Kawasaki Disease in Children

Objective: To understand the application of echocardiography combined with blood SAA, IL-6, PCT, and CRP detection in the diagnosis and treatment of Kawasaki disease in children. Methods: 56 children with Kawasaki disease were selected as the study subjects as the treatment group, and 54 children with other diseases during the same period were selected as the control group. Echocardiography, blood SAA, IL-6, PCT and CRP were detected before and after treatment to observe the results of the two groups. A database was established to compare the changes of various indicators between the two groups, as well as the application value of each indicator in the clinical diagnosis and treatment of Kawasaki disease, and the pros and cons of the application of each indicator in the diagnosis and treatment of children with Kawasaki disease were analyzed, so as to provide a clearer early warning mechanism for the clinical diagnosis and treatment of children with Kawasaki disease. Results: There was no significant difference in the results of related imaging indexes in the control group before and after treatment (P > 0.05). There was no significant difference in the results of relevant imaging indicators in the treatment group before and after treatment (P > 0.05), except for LMCA (P 0.05), all other indicators had statistical significance (P < 0.05). The results of relevant laboratory indexes in control group before and after treatment were statistically significant (P < 0.05). The results of relevant laboratory indexes before and after treatment in the treatment group were statistically significant (P < 0.05). Electrochemical glycerol oxidation(EGO)emerges as a promising route to valorize glycerol,an underutilized byproduct from biodiesel production,into value-added *** study employed three types of gold(Au)nanocrystals with controlled shapes to elucidate the facet-dependent electrocatalytic behavior in ***,rhombic dodecahedral,and cubic Au nanocrystals with{111},{110},and{100}facets,respectively,were precisely synthesized with uniform size and *** dodecahedra exhibited the lowest onset potential for EGO due to facile AuOH formation,while octahedra showed enhanced electrochemical activity for glycerol oxidation and resistance to ***-situ FTIR analysis revealed that Au{111}surfaces selectively favored C_(2) products,whereas Au{100}surfaces promoted C_(3) product formation,highlighting the significant effect of facet orientation on EGO performance and informing catalyst design.

随着国家地震烈度速报与预警工程的建设,加速度记录在地震科学中将得到越来越多的应用.但目前的地震检测模型多使用速度记录训练,对加速度记录的检测效果较差.利用广东地震台网数据,训练得到了可检测速度记录的PhaseNet_GD模型和检测加速度记录的PhaseNet_ITS模型.在此基础上,结合GaMMA震相关联和HYPOSAT地震定位方法,发展了一套新的地震数据智能处理流程,并处理了2023年新丰江水库M_(L)4.8地震序列,检测出的事件数量是人工目录的3.8倍,匹配率为93.2%,误检测率为0.38%.这一系统可快速产出完备性高、高精度的地震目录,为水库地震监测和区域地震台网的数据实时处理提供技术支撑.
