The relatively poor corrosion resistance remarkably limits the wide applications of Mg alloys in practice,although they possess many attractive properties,like low density,high specific strength,and good *** formation of a protective coating can effectively suppress the *** this work,a slippery liquid-infused porous surface(SLIPS),with good surface hydrophobicity,stability,and self-healing property,was formed on AZ31 Mg *** development of SLIPS requires suitable porous micro/*** double hydroxide(LDH),with effective corrosion resistance for Mg alloys,was a good candidate to accommodate the liquid ***,different temperatures were applied to in situ form MgAl-LDH on AZ31 Mg *** results showed that the temperature of 120℃was the best condition for the SLIPS to provide good corrosion protection for Mg alloys,with the lowest corrosion current density of 3.19×10^(-9)A cm^(−2).In addition,the SLIPS performed well in the long-term immersion test and abrasion *** AZ31 Mg alloys with superior corrosion resistance and good mechanical and chemical stability can be extensively applied in areas of automotive,electronics,and aerospace.

An efcient and simple in-situ growth strategy has been discovered for the preparation of highly reproducible and continuous symbiotic ZIF-8-based anticorrosion coating by using graphene oxide(GO)/Mg AlNO3layered double hydroxides(G/LDHs) buffer layer as a new type of connecting carrier based on micro-arc oxide(MAO) coating of AZ31 magnesium alloy. The components of ZIF-8 were adsorbed and bounded to the surface of the G/LDHs buffer layer-modified substrates to promote the nucleation of ZIF-8,thus growing a phase-pure, uniform, and good symbiosis ZIF-8 membrane. ZIF-8 particles with different growth times compensate for the grain boundary defects of the G/LDHs coating precursor buffer layer to different degrees. The prepared ZIF-8-based coating has excellent stability and corrosion resistance. The results demonstrate that the G/LDHs buffer layer provides a new channel for the MOF-modified MAO substrate of AZ31 magnesium alloy. It also proves that it is feasible to build high-performance anticorrosive coatings with MOF materials.

AIM： To evaluate whether the combination of recom- binant chicken fibroblast growth factor receptor -1 （FGFR-1） protein vaccine （cFR-I） combined with low- dose gemcitabine would improve anti-tumor efficacy in a mouse CT26 colon adenocarcinoma （CT26） model.METHODS： The CT26 model was established in BABL/c mice. Seven days after tumor ceil injection, mice were randomly divided into four groups： combination therapy, cFR-1 alone, gemcitabine alone, and normal saline groups. Tumor growth, survival rate of tumor-bearing mice, and systemic toxicity were observed. The presence of anti-tumor auto-antibodies was detected by Western blot analysis and enzyme-linked immunospot assay, microvessel density （MVD） of the tumors and tumor cell proliferation were detected by Immunohistochemistry staining, and tumor cell apoptosis was detected by TdT- mediated biotinylated-dUTP nick end label staining.RESULTS： The combination therapy results in apparent decreases in tumor volume, microvessel density and tumor cell proliferation, and an increase in apoptosis without obvious side-effects as compared with either therapy alone or normal control groups. Also, both auto- antibodies and the antibody-producing B cells against mouse FGFR-1 were detected in mice immunized with cFR-1 vaccine alone or with combination therapy, but not in non-immunized mice. In addition, the deposition of auto-antibodies on endothelial cells from mice immunized with cFR-1 was observed by immunofluorescent stain- ing, but not on endothelial cells from control groups. Synergistic indexes of tumor volume, MVD, cell apoptosis and proliferation in the combination therapy group were 1.71 vs 1.15 vs 1.11 and 1.04, respectively, 31 d after tumor cell injection.CONCLUSION： The combination of cFR-l-mediated antiangiogenesis and low-dose gemcitabine synergistically enhances the anti-tumor activity without overt toxicity in mice.

Automatic UAV Positioning with Encoded Sign as Cooperative Target

In order to achieve the goal that unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV)automatically positioning during power inspection,a visual positioning method which utilizes encoded sign as cooperative target is ***,we discuss how to design the encoded sign and propose a robust decoding algorithm based on ***,the Adaboost algorithm is used to train a classifier which can detect the encoded sign from ***,the position of UAV can be calculated by using the projective relation between the object points and their corresponding image *** includes two ***,simulated video data is used to verify the feasibility of the proposed method,and the results show that the average absolute error in each direction is below 0.02 ***,a video,acquired from an actual UAV flight,is used to calculate the position of *** results show that the calculated trajectory is consistent with the actual flight *** method runs at a speed of 0.153 sper frame.

Conservation analysis of long non-coding RNAs in plants

Long non-coding RNAs(lncRNAs) are gene regulators that have vital roles in development and adaptation to the environment in eukaryotes. However, the structural and evolutionary analyses of plant lncRNAs are limited. In this study, we performed an analysis of lncRNAs in five monocot and five dicot species. Our results showed that plant lncRNA genes were generally shorter and had fewer exons than protein-coding genes. The numbers of lncRNAs were positively correlated with the numbers of protein-coding genes in different plant species, despite a high range of variation. Sequence conservation analysis showed that the majority of lncRNAs had high sequence conservation at the intra-species and sub-species levels, reminiscent of protein-coding genes. At the inter-species level, a subset of lncRNAs were highly diverged at the nucleotide level, but conserved by ***, we found that plant lncRNAs have identical splicing signals, and those which can form precursors or targets of miRNAs have a conservative identity in different species. We also revealed that most of the lowly expressed lncRNAs were tissue-specific, while those highly conserved were constitutively transcribed. Meanwhile, we characterized a subset of rice lncRNAs that were co-expressed with their adjacent protein-coding genes, suggesting they may play cis-regulatory roles. These results will contribute to understanding the biological significance and evolution of lncRNAs in plants.

This work produced a Mg Al-layered double hydroxide by hydrothermal treatment of a plasma electrolytic oxidation(PEO) coating on magnesium alloy AZ31 in an phosphate electrolyte, followed by an ion-exchange reaction in 0.1 M phosphate solution. The coated specimens were scratched. Characterization, including utilization of the localized technique SIET, measured the pH and p Mg distributions and optical morphologies around the artificial defects during immersion in 0.05 M NaCl solution. In contrast with phosphate loaded PEO/LDHs, a stronger alkalinization area(with pH 11.4~12.3) appeared in the passive PEO specimens. Due to formation of insoluble Mg(OH)_(2) products, the p Mg map showed depletion of Mg^(2+) in this high p H area. Combined with optical morphologies and SEM images, the better self-healing ability toward defects for phosphate loaded PEO/LDHs was confirmed.

The naphthalene decomposition in a corona radical shower discharge (CRS) was investigated, with attention paid to the influences of voltage and initial naphthalene density. The OH emission spectra were investigated so as to know the naphthalene decomposing process. The by-products were analyzed and a decomposing theory in discharge was proposed. The results showed that higher voltage and relative humidity were effective on decomposition. The initial concentration affected the decomposing efficiency of naphthalene. When the initial naphthalene density was 17 mg/m3, the decomposition rate was found to be 70% under 14 kV. The main by-products were carbon dioxide and water. However, a small amount of carbonic oxide, 1,2-ethanediol and acetaldehyde were found due to the incomplete oxidization.

The formation of hybrid underwater gliders has advantages in sustained ocean observation with high resolution and more adaptation for complicated ocean tasks. However, the current work mostly focused on the traditional gliders and *** research on control strategy and energy consumption minimization for the hybrid gliders is necessary both in methodology and experiment. A multi-layer coordinate control strategy is developed for the fleet of hybrid underwater gliders to control the gliders’ motion and formation geometry with optimized energy consumption. The inner layer integrated in the onboard controller and the outer layer integrated in the ground control center or the deck controller are designed. A coordinate control model is proposed based on multibody theory through adoption of artificial potential fields. Considering the existence of ocean flow, a hybrid motion energy consumption model is constructed and an optimization method is designed to obtain the heading angle, net buoyancy, gliding angle and the rotate speed of screw propeller to minimize the motion energy with consideration of the ocean flow. The feasibility of the coordinate control system and motion optimization method has been verified both by simulation and sea trials. Simulation results show the regularity of energy consumption with the control variables. The fleet of three Petrel-Ⅱ gliders developed by Tianjin University is deployed in the South China Sea. The trajectory error of each glider is less than 2.5 km, the formation shape error between each glider is less than 2 km, and the difference between actual energy consumption and the simulated energy consumption is less than 24% actual energy. The results of simulation and the sea trial prove the feasibility of the proposed coordinate control strategy and energy optimization method.
