Catalytic behavior of Mo-Bi-Fe-Co-K-M-O(M=Ce,Gd,CeGd)catalysts for selective oxidation of isobutene

The further improvement of methacrolein(MAL)selectivity from isobutene(IB)oxidation is crucial and challenging.In this study,based on the typical Mo-Bi-Fe-Co-K-O mixed metal oxide,the rare earth element Gd-doped,Ce-doped and CeGd co-doped catalysts were prepared by co-precipitation strategy to increase the selectivity of MAL from 47.9%to 49.8%,64.2% and 68.6%,respectively.In order to elucidate in-depth the promoting effect of Ce and/or Gd,various characterizations were utilized including X-ray diffraction patterns(XRD),Raman,X-ray fluorescence spectrometry(XRF),X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS),O_(2)-temperature programmed desorption(O_(2)-TPD),H2-temperature programmed reduction(H2-TPR),CO_(2)-temperature programmed desorption(CO_(2)-TPD),IB-temperature programmed desorption(i-C4-TPD)and in-situ IB-Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(IB-FTIR).Both Ce and Gd finely regulate the bulk and surface structure of the catalyst,thus altering the redox ability,oxygen mobility and storage ability and basicity.Compared with Ce,Gd addition slightly regulates the variation of Co^(2+)/Co^(3+)redox couples,greatly enhances the interaction among the components on the catalyst,thus only increases the content of surface oxygen species and has little effect on their mobility.While Cecontaining catalyst performs stronger oxygen storage and migration ability,thus leading to the overproduction of surface Odefectspecies,which are proposed to be the active sites for the production of MAL and COx.The CeGd co-doped catalyst possesses the proper content of surface Odefectspecies,thus exhibits much higher MAL selectivity.Moreover,the promoting mechanism of Ce and/or Gd over IB oxidation is proposed.Therefore,this work is helpful for understanding the influence of rare earth elements on the structure of mixed metal oxides and the olefin selective oxidation reaction.

Great progress has been made in the electrochromic(EC)technology with potential applications in various fields.As one of the most promising EC materials,Prussian blue(PB)has attracted great attention due to its excellent EC performance,such as low cost,easy synthesis,rich color states,chemical stability,suitable redox potential,and fast color-switching kinetics.This review summarizes the recent progress in PB electrodes and devices,including several typical preparation techniques of PB electrodes,as well as the recent key strategies for enhancing EC performance of PB electrodes.Specifically,PB-based electrochromic devices(ECDs)have been widely used in various fields,such as smart windows,electrochromic energy storage devices(EESDs),wearable electronics,smart displays,military camouflage,and other fields.Several opportunities and obstacles are suggested for advancing the development of PB-based ECDs.This comprehensive review is expected to offer valuable insights for the design and fabrication of sophisticated PBbased ECDs,enabling their practical integration into realworld applications.

Preparation and characterization of pH-responsive metal-polyphenol structure coated nanoparticles

In this paper,tannic acid(TA)and Fe~(3+)were added to form a layer of metal-polyphenol network structure on the surface of the nanoparticles which were fabricated by zein and carbon quantum dots(CQDs)encapsulating phlorotannins(PTN).pH-Responsive nanoparticles were prepared successfully(zein-PTN-CQDs-Fe-~Ⅲ).Further,the formation of composite nanoparticles was confirmed by a series of characterization methods.The zeta-potential and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy data proved that electrostatic interaction and hydrogen bonding are dominant forces to form nanoparticles.The encapsulation efficiency(EE)revealed that metal-polyphenol network structure could improve the EE of PTN.Thermogravimetric analysis and differential scanning calorimetry experiment indicated the thermal stability of zein-PTN-CQDs-Fe~Ⅲnanoparticles increased because of metal-polyphenol network structure.The pH-responsive nanoparticles greatly increased the release rate of active substances and achieved targeted release.

Fine-grained grid computing model for Wi-Fi indoor localization in complex environments

The fingerprinting-based approach using the wireless local area network(WLAN)is widely used for indoor localization.However,the construction of the fingerprint database is quite time-consuming.Especially when the position of the access point(AP)or wall changes,updating the fingerprint database in real-time is difficult.An appropriate indoor localization approach,which has a low implementation cost,excellent real-time performance,and high localization accuracy and fully considers complex indoor environment factors,is preferred in location-based services(LBSs)applications.In this paper,we proposed a fine-grained grid computing(FGGC)model to achieve decimeter-level localization accuracy.Reference points(RPs)are generated in the grid by the FGGC model.Then,the received signal strength(RSS)values at each RP are calculated with the attenuation factors,such as the frequency band,three-dimensional propagation distance,and walls in complex environments.As a result,the fingerprint database can be established automatically without manual measurement,and the efficiency and cost that the FGGC model takes for the fingerprint database are superior to previous methods.The proposed indoor localization approach,which estimates the position step by step from the approximate grid location to the fine-grained location,can achieve higher real-time performance and localization accuracy simultaneously.The mean error of the proposed model is 0.36 m,far lower than that of previous approaches.Thus,the proposed model is feasible to improve the efficiency and accuracy of Wi-Fi indoor localization.It also shows high-accuracy performance with a fast running speed even under a large-size grid.The results indicate that the proposed method can also be suitable for precise marketing,indoor navigation,and emergency rescue.

Urgent one-stage endoscopic treatment for choledocholithiasis related moderate to severe acute cholangitis: A propensity scorematched analysis

BACKGROUND During emergency endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography(ERCP),the safety and feasibility of performing one-stage endoscopic treatment for patients with acute cholangitis(AC)due to choledocholithiasis are unclear.AIM To investigate the safety and feasibility of one-stage endoscopic treatment for moderate to severe AC.METHODS We enrolled all patients diagnosed with moderate to severe cholangitis due to common bile duct stones from January 2019 to July 2023.The outcomes were compared in this study between patients who underwent ERCP within 24 h and those who underwent ERCP 24 h later,employing a propensity score(PS)frame-work.Our primary outcomes were intensive care unit(ICU)admission rates,ICU length of stay,and duration of antibiotic use.RESULTS In total,we included 254 patients and categorized them into two groups based on the time elapsed between admission and intervention:The urgent group(≤24 h,n=102)and the elective group(>24 h,n=152).Ninety-three pairs of patients with similar characteristics were selected by PS matching.The urgent ERCP group had more ICU admissions(34.4%vs 21.5%,P=0.05),shorter ICU stays(3 d vs 9 d,P<0.001),fewer antibiotic use(6 d vs 9 d,P<0.001),and shorter hospital stays(9 d vs 18.5 d,P<0.001).There were no significant differences observed in adverse events,in-hospital mortality,recurrent cholangitis occurrence,30-d readmission rate or 30-d mortality.CONCLUSION Urgent one-stage ERCP provides the advantages of a shorter ICU stay,a shorter duration of antibiotic use,and a shorter hospital stay.

Microstructure,wear and friction behavior of CoCrAITaY-xCNTs composite coatings deposited by laser-induction hybrid cladding

To improve the wear performance of CoCrAlYTa coating,part of the carbon nanotubes（CNTs）chemically reacted with Ta to form reinforcement phase（TaC）,while the other CNTs were retained as lubrication phase.Subsequently,the CoCrAlYTa-xCNTs（x=0,1,2,and 4;wt%） composite coatings were prepared by laserinduction hybrid cladding（LIHC）,and the microstructure and wear resistance of coatings were systematically analyzed.Results show that the coatings are mainly composed of TaC,y-（Co,Cr） and β-（Co,Cr）Al.As the CNTs content increases from 0 wt% to 4 wt%,the volume fraction of TaC increases from 13.11 vol% to 16.12 vol%.Meanwhile,the nano-hardness of γ-（Co,Cr） and β-（Co,Cr）Al are improved from 7.49 and 9.72 to 9.36 and 11.19 GPa,respectively.As a result,the microhardness of coating increases from HV536.25 to HV 738.16,the wear rate decreases from32.4 × 10-3to 6.1 × 10-3mg·m-1,and the average friction coefficient decreases from 0.55 to 0.44.The good wear performance of the coating is attributed to the formation of TaC and the existence of remained CNTs lubricant film.

Study of Deuteron Separation Energy Based on Bayesian Neural Network Approach

Deuteron separation energy is not only the basis for validating the nuclear mass models and nucleon-nucleon interaction potential,but also can determine the stability of a nuclide to certain extent.Bayesian neural network(BNN)approach,which has strong predictive power and can naturally give theoretical errors of predicted values,had been successfully applied to study the different kinds of separations except the deuteron separation.In this paper,several typical nuclear mass models,such as macroscopic model BW2,macroscopic-microscopic model WS4,and microscopic model HFB-31,are chosen to study the deuteron separation energy combining BNN approach.The root-mean-square deviations of these models are partly reduced.In addition,the inclusion of physical parameters related to the pair and shell effects in the input layer can further improve the theoretical accuracy for the deuteron separation energy.The results show that the theoretical predictions are more reliable as more physical features of BNN approach are included.

Optimal Matching Analysis of Net Buoyancy and Pitching Angle for Underwater Gliders

Control parameter optimization is an efficient way to improve the endurance of underwater gliders(UGs),which influences their gliding efficiency and energy consumption.This paper analyzes the optimal matching between the net buoyancy and the pitching angle and proposes a segmented control strategy of Petrel-L.The optimization of this strategy is established based on the gliding range model of UG,which is solved based on the approximate model,and the variations of the optimal control parameters with the hotel load are obtained.The optimization results indicate that the segmented control strategy can significantly increase the gliding range when the optimal matching between the net buoyancy and the pitching angle is reached,and the increase rate is influenced by the hotel load.The gliding range of the underwater glider can be increased by 10.47%at a hotel load of 0.5 W.The optimal matching analysis adopted in this study can be applied to other UGs to realize endurance improvement.

Inetetamab combined with pyrotinib and oral vinorelbine for patients with human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 positive advanced breast cancer:A single-arm phase 2 clinical trial

Background Human epidermal growth factor receptor 2(HER2)-targeted agents have significantly improved the outcomes of patients with HER2-positive breast cancer;however,a large proportion of patients still develop resistance to trastuzumab.In this study,we investigated the efficacy and safety of inetetamab,another anti-HER2 antibody,combined with pyrotinib and oral vinorelbine in patients with HER2-positive advanced breast cancer so as to provide new ideas for the treatment.Methods In this prospective,single-arm,phase 2 trial,patients with HER2-positive advanced breast cancer with disease progression after trastuzumab were recruited.Patients received a combination of inetetamab(loading dose of 8 mg/kg and subsequent doses of 6 mg/kg intravenously once every 3 weeks),pyrotinib(400 mg orally once daily),and vinorelbine(60 mg/m^(2)orally once weekly)until disease progression or intolerable toxicity.The primary endpoint was progression-free survival(PFS).The secondary endpoints included objective response rate(ORR),overall survival(OS),disease control rate(DCR),and safety.Results Between February 13,2022 and December 25,2022,30 patients were screened and enrolled in this study.The median age of the patients at enrollment was 54 years,12 patients(40.0%)had hormone-receptor-positive disease and 23 patients(76.7%)had visceral metastasis.The median PFS was 8.63 months(95%confidence interval[CI]4.15-13.12 months).The median OS was not reached.The ORR was 53.3%(16/30)and the DCR was 96.7%(29/30).The most common Grade III/IV adverse events were leukopenia(n=5,16.7%),neutropenia(n=4,13.3%),and diarrhea(n=3,10%).No treatment-related serious adverse events or deaths occurred.Conclusions The combination regimen of inetetamab,pyrotinib,and oral vinorelbine showed encouraging efficacy and favorable safety in patients with HER2-positive advanced breast cancer and could be considered as an alternative treatment option for the patients.

Threshold-type memristor-based crossbar array design and its application in handwritten digit recognition

Neuromorphic computing simulates the operation of biological brain function for information processing and can potentially solve the bottleneck of the Von Neumann architecture.Inspired by the real characteristics of physical memristive devices,we propose a threshold-type nonlinear voltage-controlled memristor mathematical model which is used to design a novel memristor-based crossbar array.The presented crossbar array can simulate the synaptic weight in real number field rather than only positive number field.Theoretical analysis and simulation results of a 2×2 image inversion operation validate the feasibility of the proposed crossbar array and the necessary training and inference functions.Finally,the presented crossbar array is used to construct the neural network and then applied in the handwritten digit recognition.The Mixed National Institute of Standards and Technology(MNIST)database is adopted to train this neural network and it achieves a satisfactory accuracy.
