Histone deacetylase 6 （HDAC6）, a predominantly cyto- plasmic protein deacetylase, participates in a wide range of cellular processes through its deacetylase activity. However, the diverse functions of HDAC6 can- not be fully elucidated with its known substrates. In an attempt to explore the substrate diversity of HDAC6, we performed quantitative proteomic analyses to monitor changes in the abundance of protein lysine acetylation in response to HDAC6 deficiency. We identified 107 proteins with elevated acetylation in the liver of HDAC6 knockout mice. Three cytoplasmic proteins, including myosin heavy chain 9 （MYH9）, heat shock cognate pro- tein 70 （HscT0）, and dnaJ homolog subfamily A member 1 （DNAJA1）, were verified to interact with HDAC6. The acetylation levels of these proteins were negatively regulated by HDAC6 both in the mouse liver and in cultured cells. Functional studies reveal that HDAC6- mediated deacetylation modulates the actin-binding ability of MYH9 and the interaction between Hsc70 and DNAJA1. These findings consolidate the notion that HDAC6 serves as a critical regulator of proteinacetylation with the capability of coordinating various cellular functions.

Bumblebees are important pollinators in agricultural ecosystems,but their abundance is declining *** is an urgent need to protect bumblebee health and their pollination *** possess specialized gut microbiota with potential to be used as probiotics to help defend at-risk bumblebee ***,evidence for probiotic benefits on bumblebees is ***,we evaluated how supplementation with Lactobacillus melliventris isolated from bumblebee gut affected the colony development of Bombus *** native strain colonized robustly and persisted long-term in bumblebees,leading to a significantly higher quality of ***,the tyrosine pathway was upregulated in the brain and fat body,while the Wnt and mTOR pathways of the gut were ***,the field experiment in the greenhouse revealed the supplementation of *** led to a 2.5-fold increase in the bumblebee survival rate and a more than 10%increase in the number of flowers visited,indicating a better health condition and pollination ability in field *** study represents a first screening for the potential use of the native gut member,***,as probiotic strains in hive supplement for bumblebee breeding,which may be a practical approach to improve immunity and hive health.

This paper establishes a risk assessment index system for the natural gas industrial chain. China＇s natural gas industrial chain is entering a stage of rapid growth. In order to guarantee healthy development of the natural gas industrial chain, it is urgent to establish a risk alert system, which is based on a risk assessment index system. First of all, the risks of the natural gas industrial chain are defined in the paper; then the risk factors are analyzed according to the present status of the natural gas industrial chain, and five categories of risk factors are summarized： resource risk, transport risk, marketing risk, risk of unbalanced chain links, and environment risk. The paper presents the principles of the risk assessment index system. The natural gas industrial chain risk assessment index system is established with four levels and forty-six risk indices.

The sedimentary record of mud areas is an important carrier of information on the Holocene evolution of marine environments. Based on fine interpretations of the shallow stratigraphic section data, a small mud deposit area has been found in the southern coastal waters off Shandong Peninsula. This mud area is mainly distributed in coastal waters north of Laoshantou to the vicinity of Rushan Estuary. Overall, it is parallel to the coastline and spreads in a banded pattern, gradually thinning from offshore to the sea. The isopach map of depth distribution is parallel with the shoreline, and the depocenter lies in coastal waters of the Aoshan Bay where the maximum thickness is up to 22.5 m. Accelerator mass spectrometry（AMS） ^（14）C dating shows that the mud area was formed in the Holocene. The test data of surface sediments from the mud area, including particle size, mineral characteristics, and rare earth element contents, are used in comparisons with the composition of materials from the major surrounding medium and small rivers flowing into the sea and the Huanghe（Yellow） River. In this paper, the sedimentary characteristics and provenance of the mud deposit area are discussed. The results show that the formation of this mud area resulted from the joint action of the Huanghe River and surrounding rivers flowing into the sea.

WTe2, as a type-II Weyl semimetal, has 2D Fermi arcs on the (001) surface in the bulk and 1D helical edge states in its monolayer. These features have recently attracted wide attention in condensed matter ***, in the intermediate regime between the bulk and monolayer, the edge states have not been resolved owing to its closed band gap which makes the bulk states dominant. Here, we report the signatures of the edge superconductivity by superconducting quantum interference measurements in multilayer WTe2Josephson junctions and we directly map the localized supercurrent. In thick WTe2(～ 60 nm), the supercurrent is uniformly distributed by bulk states with symmetric Josephson effect(|Ic~+(B)|=|Ic~-(B)|).In thin WTe2(10 nm), however, the supercurrent becomes confined to the edge and its width reaches up to 1.4 μm and exhibits non-symmetric behavior |Ic~+(B)|≠|Ic~-(B)|. The ability to tune the edge domination by changing thickness and the edge superconductivity establishes WTe2as a promising topological system with exotic quantum phases and a rich physics.

The enhancement in the efficiency of triplet-triplet annihilation upconversion(TTA-UC)is mainly determined by the triplet energy transfer(TET)and triplet-triplet annihilation(TTA)between the sensitizers and *** TET process works efficiently by adjusting the concentration ratio of the sensitizers and *** efficiency of TTA is determined by the properties of the *** TTA is a Dexter-type energy transfer and is affected by the diffusion rate,the energy levels of the excited states and the molecular size are both crucial in *** this study,four isomerized dimers of 9,10-diphenlanthracene(DPA)and anthracene(An)were designed and prepared as annihilators for *** singlet and triplet energy levels could be adjusted by altering the connection position while maintaining the molecular weight and *** PtOEP was used as the sensitizer,the maximum upconversion efficiency of 9-[4-(9-anthracenyl)phenyl]-10-phenylanthracene(9DPA-9An)was~11.18%.This is four times higher than that of 9,10-diphenyl-2,9-bianthracene(2DPA-9An,2.63%).The calculation of the energies of T_(1)and the higher triplet state(T_(3),because E(T_(2))is similar to the E(T)of these dimers)for these dimers has provided insights into the underlying *** indicated that the energy gap value of 2×E(T_(1))-E(T_(3))is the determining factor for TTA *** work may provide a better understanding of the excited-state energy levels,which is crucial for designing novel annihilators to enhance the TTA-UCefficiency.

Timbre,as one of the essential elements of sound,plays an important role in determining sound properties,whereas its manipulation has been remaining challenging for passive mechanical systems due to the intrinsic dispersion nature of ***,we present a meta-silencer supporting intensive mode density as well as highly tunable intrinsic loss and offering a fresh pathway for designable timbre in *** global coupling is induced by intensive mode density and delicately modulated with the guidance of the theoretical model,which efficiently suppresses the resonance dispersion and provides desirable frequency-selective wave-manipulation capacity for timbre *** proof-of-concept demonstrations for our design concepts,we propose three meta-silencers with the designing targets of high-efficiency broadband sound attenuation,efficiency-controlled sound attenuation and designable timbre,*** proposed meta-silencers all operate in a broadband frequency range from 500 to 3200 Hz and feature deep-subwavelength sizes around 50 *** work opens up a fundamental avenue to manipulate the timbre with passive resonances-controlled acoustic metamaterials and may inspire the development of novel multifunctional devices in noise-control engineering,impedance engineering,and architectural acoustics.
