Integrated wellbore-reservoir-geomechanics modeling for enhanced interpretation of distributed fiber-optic strain sensing data in hydraulicfracture analysis

Fiber-optic distributed strain sensing(FO-DSS)has been successful in monitoring strain changes along horizontal wellbores in hydraulically fractured ***,the mechanism driving the various FO-DSS responses associated with near-wellbore hydraulic fracture properties is still *** address this knowledge gap,we use coupled wellbore-reservoir-geomechanics simulations to study measured strain-change behavior and infer hydraulic fracture *** crossflow among fractures is captured through explicit modeling of the transient wellbore *** addition,local grid refinement is applied to accurately capture strain changes along the fiber.A Base Case model was designed with four fractures of varying properties,simulating strain change signals when the production well is shut-in for 10 d after 240 d of production and reopened for 2 ***-pressure plots for different fracture clusters were used to gain insights into inferring fracture properties using DSS *** comparing the model with and without the wellbore,distinct strain change signals were observed,emphasizing the importance of incorporating the wellbore in FO-DSS *** effects of fracture spacing and matrix permeability on strain change signals were thoroughly *** results of our numerical study can improve the understanding of the relation between DSS signals and fracture hydraulic properties,thus maximizing the value of the dataset for fracture diagnostics and characterization.

Rickettsia felis is an exclusively cytozoic Gram-negative prokaryote with cat fleas as the major vectors.[1]As early as 1918,Rickettsia felis was detected in cat fleas in Europe and named Rickettsia ctenocephali.[2]Symptoms of fever,malaise,headache,maculopapular rash and eschar are observed in patients with Rickettsia felis infection.

The source and load uncertainties arising from increased applications of renewable energy sources such as wind and photovoltaic energy in the power system have had adverse effects on optimal planning and *** for generating typical renewable energy and load scenarios are constructed to reduce such effects and improve the applicability of a planning and optimal dispatching model of power systems with a high proportion of renewable *** traditional clustering-based model for representing such scenarios cannot handle high-dimensional time-series data and consequently the feature-related information obtained cannot fully reflect the characteristics of the ***,a deep convolutional embedded clustering model based on multi-head self-attention is ***,a variational mode decomposition model is optimized to reduce the influence of noise-related signals on the feature *** deep features are then extracted from the data using an improved convolutional autoencoder,and the appropriate number of clusters is determined using the elbow *** this,the network parameters are optimized based on the sum of losses during reconstruction and ***,typical scenarios are then generated based on the optimized network ***,the proposed method is evaluated based on data visualization and evaluation *** is shown that the quality of features and the accuracy of clustering can be effectively improved by the proposed scenario generation method.

Method of extracting disturbed position in φ-OTDR based on signal relevance evaluation

A theoretical analysis was conducted on the intrinsic bond between multi-point responses caused by the same single vibration in phase sensitive optical time-domain reflectometer(OTDR). Temporal similarity of signals collected from adjacent sample locations were investigated. Referring to correlation coefficient as well as the relative energy level, a method of extracting disturbed position in φ-OTDR based on signal relevance evaluation is proposed to perform fast screening of massive φ-OTDR raw data to pinpoint those signals with significance.

Simulation Method and Feature Analysis of Shutdown Pressure Evolution During Multi-Cluster Fracturing Stimulation

Multistage multi-cluster hydraulic fracturing has enabled the economic exploitation of shale reservoirs,but the interpretation of hydraulic fracture parameters is *** pressure signals after pump shutdown are influenced by hydraulic fractures,which can reflect the geometric features of hydraulic *** shutdown pressure can be used to interpret the hydraulic fracture parameters in a real-time and cost-effective *** this paper,a mathematical model for shutdown pressure evolution is developed considering the effects of wellbore friction,perforation friction and fluid loss in *** efficient numerical simulation method is established by using the method of *** on this method,the impacts of fracture half-length,fracture height,opened cluster and perforation number,and filtration coefficient on the evolution of shutdown pressure are *** results indicate that a larger fracture half-length may hasten the decay of shutdown pressure,while a larger fracture height can slow down the decay of shutdown pressure.A smaller number of opened clusters and perforations can significantly increase the perforation friction and decrease the overall level of shutdown pressure.A larger filtration coefficient may accelerate the fluid filtration in the fracture and hasten the drop of the shutdown *** simulation method of shutdown pressure,as well as the analysis results,has important implications for the interpretation of hydraulic fracture parameters.

Severe trauma is one of the main causes of premature death,posing a significant challenge to public health systems.[1]At present,there is a lack of universally accepted guidelines for rapid detection of life-threatening severe trauma,[2]and the accuracy of existing prognostic models in predicting early death is limited.[3,4]Severe non-brain-injured trauma(SNT)patients account for approximately 70%of all trauma-related ***,there is a lack of studies on early death in SNT patients.[5]This study aims to identify risk factors associated with early death(≤72 h post-admission)in SNT patients.

The quality control and hypoglycemic effect of Cinnamomi Cortex aqueous extract

Cinnamomi Cortex was a material as medicinal and edible resources and it has been demonstrated that Cinnamomi Cortex aqueous extract(CCAE)possess hypoglycemic effect,but there were no active compounds identified as quality standard of CCAE to be used in the investigate of hypoglycemic ***,in this study,the quality standard and the hypoglycemic effect of CCAE were *** and coumarin as the quality control in CCAE were analyzed by high performance liquid chromatography(HPLC)*** results showed that the average yield of extraction was 10.06%.The concentration of coumarin was linear with peak area ranging from 0.02–1.00μg/mL(r=0.9996,n=6)and that of cinnamaldehyde also demonstrated a good linear relationship with peak area in the range of 1.05–52.50μg/mL(r=0.9997,n=6).The average recovery rate of coumarin and cinnamaldehyde was 99.42%and 100.11%,*** investigation of hypoglycemic effect revealed that CCAE could improve weight loss,lower liver and pancreas indices,improve organ damage caused by diabetes,and lower fasting blood glucose,glycosylated serum protein(GSP)and total cholesterol(TC)*** results showed that CCAE can reduce fasting blood glucose and blood lipid levels in diabetic mice.

An optimized strategy of nitrogen-split application based on the leaf positional differences in chlorophyll meter readings

Modern rice production faces the dual challenges of increasing grain yields while reducing inputs of chemical ***,the disequilibrium between the nitrogen(N)supplement from the soil and the demand for N of plants is a serious obstacle to achieving these ***-based diagnosis can help farmers make better choices regarding the timing and amount of topdressing N *** objective was to evaluate a non-destructive assessment of rice N demands based on the relative SPAD value(RSPAD)due to leaf positional *** this study,two field experiments were conducted,including a field experiment of different N rates(Exp.I)and an experiment to evaluate the new strategy of nitrogen-split application based on RSPAD(***).The results showed that higher N inputs significantly increased grain yield in modern high yielding super rice,but at the expense of lower nitrogen use efficiency(NUE).The N nutrition index(NNI)can adequately differentiate situations of excessive,optimal,and insufficient N nutrition in rice,and the optimal N rate for modern high yielding rice is higher than conventional *** RSPAD is calculated as the SPAD value of the top fully expanded leaf *** value of the third leaf,which takes into account the non-uniform N distribution within a *** RSPAD can be used as an indicator for higher yield and NUE,and guide better management of N fertilizer ***,we developed a new strategy of nitrogen-split application based on RSPAD,in which the N rate was reduced by 18.7%,yield was increased by 1.7%,and the agronomic N use efficiency was increased by 27.8%,when compared with standard farmers'*** strategy of N fertilization shows great potential for ensuring high yielding and improving NUE at lower N inputs.
