Risk of anxiety and depression in patients with uveitis:a Meta-analysis

AIM:To quantitatively evaluate the risk of anxiety and depression in patients with uveitis via performing a ***:Three electronic database(Pub Med,Embase,and Cochrane library databases)were searched for studies recording data about uveitis and anxiety as well as depression simultaneously up to January *** incidence rate and standard mean difference(SMD)with a 95%confidence interval(95%CI)were calculated to analyse the association using random-effects models based on heterogeneity ***:In total,12 observational studies containing 874 patients with uveitis were *** results showed that there was a significant association between uveitis and anxiety(SMD=0.97,95%CI:0.39 to 1.54,P=0.0009)and depression(SMD=0.79,95%CI:0.51 to 1.07,Pliminarily indicated that patients with uveitis may have a high risk of anxiety and *** and psychologists should pay more attention to the psychological state when dealing with patients with *** high-quality studies with detailed direct data are needed to draw more precise conclusions.

Developing new polymeric semiconductors with excellent device performance is essential for organic electronics. Herein, we synthesized two new thiazoloisoindigo(Tz II)-based polymers, namely, P(Tz II-d Th-d Th) and P(Tz II-d Th-d Tz), by copolymerizing thiophene-flanked Tz II with bithiophene and bithiazole, respectively. Owing to the more electron-deficient nature of bithiazole than bithiophene, P(Tz II-d Th-d Tz)possesses deeper LUMO/HOMO levels of-3.45/-5.47 e V than P(Tz II-d Th-d Th)(-3.34/-5.32 e V). The organic field-effect transistor(OFET) devices based on P(Tz II-d Th-d Th) exhibited p-type behaviors with an average hole mobility value as high as 1.43 cm^(2)·V^(-1)·s^(-1), while P(Tz II-d Th-d Tz)showed typical ambipolar characteristics with average hole and electron mobilities of 0.38 and 0.56 cm^(2)·V^(-1)·s^(-1). In addition, we compared the performances of both polymers with other Tz II-based polymers reported in our previous work, and showed that the charge carrier polarity can be manipulated by adjusting the number of the thiophene units between the acceptor unit. As the increase of the number of thiophene rings,charge carrier polarity shifts from electron-dominated ambipolar transport to hole-dominated ambipolar transport and then to unipolar hole transport in OFETs, which provides an effective molecular design strategy for further optimization of polymer OFET performance.

As an unconventional resource, oil shale possesses abundant reserves and significant potential for industrial applications. The rational and efficient development of oil shale resources holds immense importance in reducing national energy demand. In-situ catalytic technology, characterized by its high efficiency, low pollution, and minimal energy consumption, represents a key direction for future oil shale development. This paper provides a comprehensive review of research progress in in-situ oil shale mining technology, oil shale pyrolysis catalysts, the pyrolysis mechanism of kerogen, and the compatibility of different heating processes and catalysts. Furthermore, the paper proposes future research directions and prospects for oil shale in-situ catalytic technology, including reservoir modification, highefficiency catalyst synthesis, injection processes, and high-efficiency heating technology. These insights serve as valuable technical references for the advancement of oil shale in-situ catalytic technology.

AIM:To observe the effect of low oxygen concentration on the neural retina in human induced pluripotent stem cell(hiPSC)-derived retinal organoids(ROs).METHODS:The hiPSC and a three-dimensional culture method were used for the *** embryoid bodies(EBs)were randomly and equally divided into hypoxic and normoxic *** of the EBs were taken on days 38,45,and 52,and the corresponding volume of EBs was ***,samples were collected at these three timepoints,followed by fixation,sectioning,and ***:The proportion of Ki67-positive proliferating cells increased steadily on day 38;this proliferationpromoting effect tended to increase tissue density rather than tissue *** days 45 and 52,the two groups had relatively similar ratios of Ki67-positive *** immunofluorescence analysis showed that the ratio of SOX2-positive cells significantly increased within the neural retina on day 52(P0.05).Moreover,the proportion of PAX6-/TUJ1+cells within the neural retinas increased considerably(Pliferation of neural retinas,suggesting that hypoxic conditions can enlarge the retinal progenitor cell pool in hiPSC-derived ROs.

The cooperative visible-light mediated and NHC-catalyzed dearomative arylation-acylation of N-(2-bromobenzoyl)indoles with aldehydes was developed, affording the corresponding highly functionalized polycyclic indolines in moderate to good yields with exclusive diastereoselectivities. Mechanism investigations support the activation of CAr-Br bond via visible-light mediated energy transfer(EnT) and the following single-electron-transfer(SET) with Breslow intermediate under NHC catalysis to give key aryl radical and ketyl radical. This protocol demonstrates the cleavage of CAr-Br bond under mild cooperative EnT/NHC catalysis.

In situ modification of heavy oil catalyzed by nanosized metal-organic framework at mild temperature and its mechanism

Two catalysts, nano-sized cobalt-metal-organic framework(Co-MOF) and nickel(Ni)-MOF, were successfully prepared by the modification method. Tetralin(C10H12) was used as the hydrogen donor for the catalytic cracking and hydrogenation modification study of the dehydrated crude oil from the Shengli Oilfield. The optimal reaction conditions were determined through orthogonal experiments, and the components of the crude oil and modified oil samples were analyzed. The results revealed that the nanoMOF catalysts were successfully prepared and exhibited high catalytic activity. They could catalyze the cracking of large molecules in heavy oil at mild temperatures(<300°C), leading to the decomposition of the hydrogen donor. When the mass fraction of the catalyst was 0.2%, the mass fraction of the hydrogen donor was 1%, and the reaction temperature was 280°C, the Ni-MOF showed the best catalytic viscosity reduction effect. It could reduce the viscosity of heavy oil at 50°C from 15761.9 m Pa.s to 1266.2 m Pa.s,with a viscosity reduction rate of 91.97%. The modification effect of Co-MOF was the next best, which could reduce the viscosity of heavy oil to 2500.1 m Pa.s with a viscosity reduction rate of 84.14%. Molecular dynamics simulations revealed a strong interaction force between the MOF surface and asphaltene molecules. In the process of heavy-oil catalytic hydrogenation, the nano-MOF catalyst exhibited high catalytic activity. On the one hand, the empty d orbitals outside the metal atoms in the catalyst could polarize the carbon atoms in the organic matter, accelerating the breaking of long chains. On the other hand, the metal atoms in the catalyst could bond with the carbon σ bonds, breaking the carbon-carbon bonds. This disrupted the structure of the recombined components in the crude oil, irreversibly reducing the viscosity of the heavy oil and improving its fluidity.

Strong metal-support interaction(SMSI)has a great impact on the activity and selectivity of heterogeneous catalysts,which was usually adjusted by changing reduction temperature or processing catalyst in different ***,few researches concentrate on modulating SMSI through regulating the structure of the ***,we show how changing the surface environment of the anatase TiO_(2)(B–TiO_(2))can be used to modulate the *** moderate TiOx overlayer makes the Ni metal highly dispersed on the high specific surface area of support,resulting in a substantially enhanced CO_(2)methanation ***,a novel phenomenon was observed that boron dopants promote the for-mation of the B–O–Ti interface site,enhancing the catalytic performance of CO_(2)*** calculations confirm that the B–O–Ti structure facilitates the activation of CO_(2)and further hydrogenation to methane.
