Bursaphelenchus rainulfi isolated from dead pine trees in Zbejiang, China, is described and illustrated. It also provided some molecular characters of the Chinese population, including the PCR-RFLP and sequences of ITS region and D2-D3 expansion region of the large subunit （LSU） rRNA gene. Both the morphological characters and ITS-RFLP patterns match with the original description. The phylogenetic trees based on the 13 sequences of D2-D3 expansion region of the LSU rRNA gene and ITS region of Bursaphelenchus species were constructed, respectively, with the results showing the similar clades. The phylogenetic relationship based on the molecular data is similar to that with morphological characters. This is the first report of the species on pine wood in eastern China.

Background:Brucellosis was a common human and livestock disease caused by Brucella strains,the category B priority pathogens by the US Center for Disease Control(CDC).Identified as a priority disease in human and livestock populations,the increasing incidence in recent years in China needs urgent control measures for this disease but the molecular background important for monitoring the epidemiology of Brucella strains at the national level is still ***:A total of 600 Brucella isolates collected during 60 years(from 1953 to 2013)in China were genotyped by multiple locus variable-number tandem repeat analysis(MLVA)and the variation degree of MLVA11 loci was calculated by the Hunter Gaston Diversity Index(HGDI)*** charts and map were processed by Excel 2013,and cluster analysis and epidemiological distribution was performed using BioNumerics(version 5.1).Results:The 600 representative Brucella isolates fell into 104 genotypes with 58 singleton genotypes by the MLVA11 assay,including *** biovars 2 and 3(five main genotypes),*** biovars 1 and 3(two main genotypes),*** biovars 1 and 3(three main genotypes),and ***(two main genotypes)*** most *** biovar 1 and biovar 3 were respectively found in northern provinces and southern provinces,*** and *** strains were dominant in *** Brucellosis was only found in animals without any human cases *** Brucellosis epidemic peaks emerged during the 60 years between 1953 and 2013:1955-1959,1962-1969,1971-1975,1977-1983,1985-1989,1992-1997,2000-2008 and 2010-2013 in ***:Brucellosis has its unique molecular epidemiological patterns with specific spatial and temporal distribution according to *** registration:IDOP-D-16-00101.

The novel identified receptor,GPR103,now renamed QRFPR(also referred to as SP9155 or AQ27),is the endogenous receptor for the neuropeptide QRFP(also referred to as 26RFa).The distribution pattern,structure,and biological actions,such as feeding behavior,bone formation,and hormone secretion of QRFPR have been largely described in chordate species,while no research on QRFPR has been reported in non-chordate ***,the first non-chordates QRFP-like peptide receptor gene in the cephalopod Sepiella japonica(Sj_QRFPLR)was identified and *** from multiple alignments,phylogenetic analysis,and in vitro subcellular localization analysis indicated that Sj_QRFPLR is a class A GPCR and it belongs to the QRFPR ***,QRFPR is likely to be structurally conserved in cephalopod *** situ hybridization and RT-PCR data revealed a widespread distribution pattern of Sj_QRFPLR in multiple function lobes of the female brain and numerous peripheral tissues in both male and female ***,a food deprivation and refeeding experiment showed that Sj_QRFPLR is likely to stimulate food intake in ***,a possible link between Sj_QRFPLR and immune response was briefly detected in *** results will contribute to our understanding of QRFPR in the cephalopod as well as the peptidergic regulation of the QRFP/QRFPR system in non-chordates.

The continuous combustion of unsustainable carbon-based fossil fuels has dramatically accelerated the increase in carbon dioxide(CO_(2))concentration in the atmosphere(from approximately278.3 ppm in 1750 to 417.9 ppm in 2023),which would exacerbate environmental problems such as greenhouse effect[1].The effective electrosynthesis of high value-added multi-carbon(C_(2+))chemicals(e.g.,ethanol,ethylene)from CO_(2) reduction reaction(CO_(2)RR)is a promising strategy to mitigate these environmental issues mentioned above but remains highly challenging due to the competition of hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)and low selectivity of target products.

BACKGROUND Gastric cancer(GC)poses a substantial risk to human health due to its high prevalence and mortality ***,current therapeutic strategies remain ***-cell RNA sequencing(scRNA-seq)offers the potential to provide comprehensive insights into GC *** To explore the distribution and dynamic changes of cell populations in the GC tumor microenvironment using scRNA-seq *** Cancerous tissues and paracancerous tissues were obtained from patients diagnosed with GC at various stages(I,II,III,and IV).Single-cell suspensions were prepared and analyzed using scRNA-seq to examine transcriptome profiles and cell-cell ***,quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction(qRT-PCR)and flow cytometry were applied for measuring the expression of cluster of differentiation(CD)2,CD3D,CD3E,cytokeratin 19,cytokeratin 8,and epithelial cell adhesion *** Transcriptome data from 73645 single cells across eight tissues of four patients were categorized into 25 distinct cell clusters,representing 10 different cell *** were observed in these cell type *** adjacent epithelial cells in stages II and III exhibited a degenerative ***,the quantity of CD4 T cells and CD8 T cells were evidently elevated in cancerous *** analysis displayed a remarkable increase in interaction between B cells and other mast cells in stages II,III,and IV of *** findings were further validated through qRT-PCR and flow cytometry,demonstrating elevated T cells and declined epithelial cells within the cancerous *** This study provides a comprehensive analysis of cell dynamics across GC stages,highlighting key interactions within the tumor *** findings offer valuable insights for developing novel therapeutic strategies.
