IrRu bimetallic oxides are recognized as the promising acidic oxygen evolution reaction(OER)catalysts,but breaking the trade-off between their activity and stability is an unresolved ***,addressing the issues of mass transport obstruction of IrRu bimetallic oxides under high current remains a challenge for the development of proton exchange membrane water electrolysis(PEM-WE).Herein,we prepared an IrRuO_(x)nanomeshes(IrRuO_(x)NMs)with high coordination number(CN)of Ir-O-Ru bonds in a mixed molten salt with high solubility of the Ir/Ru precursor.X-ray absorption spectroscopy analysis revealed that the IrRuO_(x)NMs possess high coordination number of Ir-O-Ru bonds(CNIr-O-Ru=5.6)with a distance of 3.18Å.Moreover,the nanomesh structures of IrRuO_(x)NMs provided hierarchical channels to accelerate the transport of oxygen and water,thus further improving the electrochemical ***,the IrRuO_(x)NMs as OER catalysts can simultaneously achieve high activity and stability with low overpotential of 196 mV to reach 10 mA·cm^(−2)and slightly increase by 70 mV over 650 h *** electrochemical mass spectrometry tests suggest that the preferred OER mechanism for IrRuO_(x)NMs is the adsorbent evolution mechanism,which is beneficial for the robust structural stability.

Alkoxy-L-serines are useful for peptide syntheses. The demand for alkoxy-L-serines in the pharmaceutical industries continues to increase because of their multiple physiological effects. In this research, an improved method for alkoxy-L-serines synthesis is reported. A series of substrates, DL-fl-alkoxy-a-amino propionamides, was used for the synthesis of alkoxy-serines catalyzed by Escherichia coli cells with peptidase B（PepB） activity. The results show that PepB has a high resolution activity with DL-fl-alkoxy-a-amino propionamides as substrate. Reaction conditions were optimized, i.e., DL-β-methoxy-a-amino propionamide as substrate at pH=9.0, 40 ℃ and 14 h, and the optimal reaction concentration is 400 mmol/L. The results also show that divalent metal cations exhibit different effects on the PepB activity, for example, Zn2＋ and Cu2＋ can obviously inhibit the activity of PepB, whereas Co2＋, Ca2＋, Mn〉 and Mg2＋ at low concentrations can activate PepB. This research provides access to enantiomerically enriched and valuable alkoxy-L-serines from a simple amino-amide racemate.

The basal texture of traditional magnesium alloy AZ31 is easy to form and exhibits poor plasticity at room *** address these problems,a multi-micro-alloyed high-plasticity Mg-1.8Zn-0.8Gd-0.1Ca-0.2Mn(wt%)alloy was developed using the unique role of rare earth and Ca solute *** addition,the influence of the annealing process on the grain size,second phase,texture,and mechanical properties of the warm-rolled sheet at room temperature was analyzed with the goal of developing high-plasticity mag-nesium alloy sheets and obtaining optimal thermal-mechanical treatment *** results show that the annealing temperature has a significant effect on the microstructure and properties due to the low alloying content:there are small amounts of larger-sized block and long string phases along the rolling direction(RD),as well as several spherical and rodlike particle phases inside the *** increas-ing annealing temperature,the grain size decreases and then increases,and the morphology,number,and size of the second phase also change *** particle phase within the grains vanishes at 450℃,and the grain size increases *** the full recrystal-lization stage at 300-350℃,the optimum strength-plasticity comprehensive mechanical properties are presented,with yield strengths of 182.1 and 176.9 MPa,tensile strengths of 271.1 and 275.8 MPa in the RD and transverse direction(TD),and elongation values of 27.4%and 32.3%,***,there are still some larger-sized phases in the alloy that influence its mechanical properties,which offers room for improvement.

Observation-based method for O_(3)formation sensitivity research is an important tool to analyze the causes of ground-level O_(3)pollution,which has broad application potentials in determining the O_(3)pollution formation mechanism and developing prevention and control *** paper outlined the development history of research on O_(3)formation sensitivity based on observational methods,described the principle and applicability of the methodology,summarized the relative application results in China and provided recommendations on the prevention and control of O_(3)pollution in China based on relevant study results,and finally pointed out the shortcomings and future development prospects in this field in *** overview study showed that the O_(3)formation sensitivity in some urban areas in China in recent years presented a gradual shifting tendency from the VOC-limited regime to the transition regime or the NO_(x)-limited regime due to the implementation of the O_(3)precursors emission reduction policies;O_(3)pollution control strategies and precursor control countermeasures should be formulated based on local conditions and the dynamic control capability of O_(3)pollution control measures should be *** are still some current deficiencies in the study field in ***,it is recommended that a stereoscopic monitoring network for atmospheric photochemical components should be further constructed and improved;the atmospheric chemical mechanisms should be vigorously developed,and standardized methods for determining the O_(3)formation sensitivity should be established in China in the near future.

Propylene carbonate(PC)-based electrolytes have exhibited significant advantages in boosting the low-temperature discharging of graphite-based li-ion ***,it is still unclear whether they can improve the charging property and suppress lithium *** this topic is challenging due to the problem of electrochemical *** overcome this issue,we introduced graphite with phase *** results show that the pouch-type full batteries using PC-based electrolyte exhibit steady performance over 500 cycles and can be reversibly charged over 30 times at-20℃ with an average Coulombic efficiency of 99.95%,while the corresponding value for the conventional ethylene carbonate(EC)-based electrolyte sample is only 31.20%.This indicates that the use of PC-based electrolyte significantly suppresses lithium plating during low-temperature *** further demonstrate that the improved performance is mainly attributed to the unique solvation structure,where PF-6more anions participate in solvation,leading to the formation of a stable F-rich solid state electrolyte interface on the graphite surface and a lower reduction tendency of li+*** work inspires new ideas for the design of PC-based electrolytes for low-temperature charging and fast-charging batteries.

Neonatal hypoxic-ischemic brain injury is the main cause of hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy and cerebral ***,there are few effective clinical treatments for neonatal hypoxic-ischemic brain ***,we investigated the neuroprotective and molecular mechanisms of exogenous nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide,which can protect against hypoxic injury in adulthood,in a mouse model of neonatal hypoxic-ischemic brain *** this study,nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide(5 mg/kg)was intraperitoneally administered 30 minutes befo re surgery and every 24 hours *** results showed that nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide treatment improved body weight,brain structure,adenosine triphosphate levels,oxidative damage,neurobehavioral test outcomes,and seizure threshold in experimental *** mass tag proteomics revealed that numerous proteins were altered after nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide treatment in hypoxic-ischemic brain injury *** reaction monitoring and western blotting confirmed changes in the expression levels of proteins including serine(or cysteine)peptidase inhibitor,clade A,member 3N,fibronectin 1,5'-nucleotidase,cytosolic IA,microtubule associated protein 2,and complexin *** analyses showed that nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide ameliorated hypoxic-ischemic injury through inflammation-related signaling pathways(e.g.,nuclear factor-kappa B,mitogen-activated protein kinase,and phosphatidylinositol 3 kinase/protein kinase B).These findings suggest that nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide treatment can improve neurobehavioral phenotypes in hypoxic-ischemic brain injury mice through inflammation-related pathways.

The infiltration casting method is widely employed for the preparation of ex-situ composite ***,the production of composite materials using this method must necessitates a comprehensive understanding of the wettability and interface characteristics between the reinforcing phase and the bulk metallic glasses(BMGs).This work optimized the composition of Zr-based BMGs through microalloying methods,resulting in a new set of Zr-based BMGs with excellent glass-forming *** experiments between the Zr-based BMGs melts and W substrates were conducted using the traditional sessile drop method,and the interfaces were characterized utilizing a scanning electron microscope(SEM)equipped with energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy(EDS).The work demonstrates that the microalloying method substantially enhances the wettability of the Zr-based BMGs ***,the incorporation of Nb element impedes the formation of W-Zr phases,but the introduction of Nb element does not alter the extent of interdiffusion between the constituent elements of the amorphous matrix and W element,indicating that the influence of Nb element on the diffusion of individual elements is minute.

Multilocus genome-wide association study has become the state-of-the-art tool for dissecting the genetic architecture of complex and multiomic ***,most existing multilocus methods require relatively long computational time when analyzing large *** address this issue,in this study,we proposed a fast mrMLM method,namely,best linear unbiased prediction multilocus random-SNP-effect mixed linear model(BLUPmrMLM).First,genome-wide single-marker scanning in mrMLM was replaced by vectorized Wald tests based on the best linear unbiased prediction(BLUP)values of marker effects and their variances in ***,adaptive best subset selection(ABESS)was used to identify potentially associated markers on each chromosome to reduce computational time when estimating marker effects via empirical ***,shared memory and parallel computing schemes were used to reduce the computational *** simulation studies,BLUPmrMLM outperformed GEMMA,EMMAX,mrMLM,and FarmCPU as well as the control method(BLUPmrMLM with ABESS removed),in terms of computational time,power,accuracy for estimating quantitative trait nucleotide positions and effects,false positive rate,false discovery rate,false negative rate,and F1 *** the reanalysis of two large rice datasets,BLUPmrMLM significantly reduced the computational time and identified more previously reported genes,compared with the aforementioned *** study provides an excellent multilocus model method for the analysis of large-scale and multiomic *** software mrMLM v5.1 is available at BioCode(https://***/biocode/tool/BT007388)or GitHub(https://***/Yuanmingzhang65/mrMLM).
