BACKGROUND Esophagogastric varices are a common complication of cirrhosis with portal hypertension and endoscopic treatment has been recognized as a primary preventive and therapeutic option for such patients;however,it should be noted that bradyarrhythmia is regarded as one of the contraindications to endoscopic ***,acute variceal bleeding may result in a high mortality rate in cirrhotic patients with portal hypertension accompanied by *** present,there is an absence of reports concerning the treatment of such group of patients who underwent transjugular intrahepatic portosystemic shunt(TIPS).The present report details the case of a cirrhotic patient with acute variceal bleeding accompanied by bradyarrhythmia who underwent TIPS under temporary pacemaker *** SUMMARY We report the case of a 64-year-old male patient who was confirmed with bradyarrhythmia by ambulatory electrocardiogram 24 h before the *** patient was successfully treated by TIPS under temporary pacemaker *** In terms of cirrhotic patients with abnormal cardiac electrophysiological conduction,TIPS may be effective in reducing the complications of portal hypertension following the exclusion of severe pulmonary hypertension and heart failure,showing moderate feasibility in clinical applications.

The quality of seedbed after sowing such as soil surface roughness is one of the key factors affecting the seedling emergence of rapeseed,which ultimately affected crop ***,the effect of soil surface roughness on seedling emergence and yield of rapeseed is still *** this study,field experiments at the experimental site of Jianli and Shayang were carried *** treatments were designed:relative slow(M1),medium(M2),and fast(M3)forward speed of the *** surface roughness measured by a 3D laser scanner,seed quantity of the seeder,emergence rate and yield of rapeseed were determined to investigate the soil surface roughness effect on emergence rate and yield of *** results showed that as the forward speed of the unit increased,the compartment surface became *** with the M1 and M2 treatments,soil surface roughness under the M3 treatment increased by 36.5%and 9.8%,*** actual seed quantity of the seeder under different treatments ranged from 3806.56 to 4158.18 g/*** average error rate of the actual and theoretical seed quantity was less than 5%,which met the operational quality requirements for seeding rapeseed *** the forward speed of the unit increased,the actual seed quantity of the seeder gradually increased while the emergence rate and yield of rapeseed *** seed quantity under the M3 treatment increased by 6.9%and 4.7%,while the emergence rate of rapeseed decreased by 3.3%and 2.0%,and the yield decreased by 23.2%and 13.1%,compared with the M1 and M2 treatments,*** analysis indicated that emergence rate and yield of rapeseed were negatively influenced by soil surface *** rapeseed emergence rate,seed yield,and economic benefits,the M1 treatment was *** considering the factor that the M1 treatment may reduce the unit operation efficiency,and thus resulting in lower cost of production,M2 could be recommended in actual *** results of this

The effect of refined precipitations and dispersed phases on the toughness of SS400 steel was investigated by rapid tempering with thermomechanical simulation tester, and the electromagnetic induction rapid tempering process was simulated. The conventional tempering and rapid tempering process were proceeded respectively, and both samples were quenched in 10~ of agitated iced brine. The tempering temperatures were designed as 560, 620 and 680℃, respectively. Rapid tempering specimens were heated at a heating rate of 20 ℃/s, and all samples of these three tempering temperatures were maintained 30, 40 and 50 s with the Gleeble1500-D tester, respectively. The impact test at --40 ℃ were carried out on a Charpy impact machine （CBD-300） with a maximum measurement range of 300 J and the microstructures were analyzed in detail using optical microscope （OM） and scanning electron microscope （SEM）. The experiment results show that the upper bainite, martensite and small amount of austenite were obtained in the rapidly quenched samples. In comparison to the conventional process, the matrix microstructure was changed from the larger size and bulk ferrite to the refined banding structure, and the cementites were obviously refined and precipitated inside the grains and along the grain boundaries. The cryogenic impact test implies that the maximum values of impact toughness with holding time of 30 or 50 s are achieved at tempering temperature of 620℃. Furthermore, a favorite value of impact toughness with holding time of 40 s is available.

Multi-decadal variations in glacier flow velocity and the influencing factors of Urumqi Glacier No.1 in Tianshan Mountains, Northwest China

Urumqi Glacier No. 1 is a representative glacier in the inland areas of Central Asia and is the only Chinese reference glacier in the World Glacier Monitoring Service. In this study, we explored multi-decadal variations in the flow velocity of the glacier and the influencing factors based on continuous field observations and path coefficient analysis. Results show that the glacier flow velocity decreased from 5.5 m/a in 1980/1981 to 3.3 m/a in 2010/2011. The annual variation in the direction of glacier flow velocity in the western branch and eastern branch was less than 1°–3°, and the change of glacier flow velocity in the western branch was more dramatic than that in the eastern branch. Glacier flow velocity was influenced by glacier morphology（including glacier area, glacier length, and ice thickness）, glacier mass balance and local climate conditions（air temperature and precipitation）, the glacier morphology being the leading factor. The long-term flow velocity data set of Urumqi Glacier No. 1 contributes to a better understanding of glacier dynamics within the context of climatic warming.

Recent advances of single-cell RNA sequencing(scRNA-seq)technologies have led to extensive study of cellular heterogeneity and cell-to-cell ***,the high frequency of dropout events and noise in scRNA-seq data confounds the accuracy of the downstream analysis,*** analysis,whose accuracy depends heavily on the selected feature ***,by deriving an entropy decomposition formula,we propose a feature selection method,*** intrinsic entropy(IE)model,to identify the informative genes for accurately clustering ***,by eliminating the‘noisy’fluctuation or extrinsic entropy(EE),we extract the IE of each gene from the total entropy(TE),***=IE+*** show that the IE of each gene actually reflects the regulatory fluctuation of this gene in a cellular process,and thus high-IE genes provide rich information on celltype or state *** validate the performance of the high-IE genes,we conduct computational analysis on both simulated datasets and real single-cell datasets by comparing with other representative *** results show that our IE model is not only broadly applicable and robust for different clustering and classification methods,but also sensitive for novel cell *** results also demonstrate that the intrinsic entropy/fluctuation of a gene serves as information rather than noise in contrast to its total entropy/fluctuation.

The Equatorial Undercurrent（EUC） plays an important role in ocean circulation and global climate change. Near the equator, as the Coriolis parameter goes to 0, equatorial currents cannot be described by geostrophy in which the pressure gradient force term is balanced by the Coriolis force term. Many previous studies focus on the relationships between the EUC and El Ni？o-Southern Oscillation（ENSO）, the thermocline, sea surface topography, the distribution of equatorial wind stress and other atmosphere-ocean factors. However, little attention has been paid to the northward pressure gradient（NGT）, which may also be important to the EUC. The pressure can be regarded as a complex nonlinear function of terms including temperature, salinity and *** study attempts to reveal the connection between a function of the northward pressure gradient（FNP） and the EUC. The connection is derived from primitive equations, by simplifying the equations with using scaling analysis, and shows that the beta effect may be the main reason why the FNP is important to the EUC. The vertical structure of the EUC can be partially described by the FNP. The NGT has an obvious influence on the EUC while the eastward pressure gradient has a relatively smaller effect.

OBJECTIVE: To investigate the inhibitory effect of Jinghua Weikang capsule(JWC) on gastric inflammation induced by Helicobacter pylori(H. pylori)via the nuclear factor-kappa B(NF-κB) signaling pathway in Kunming ***: We investigated the anti-inflammation potential of JWC extract in vivo in a H. pylori-induced gastritis mouse model. The expression of inflammation-related molecules was evaluated by Western blotting, and the concentrations of in vivo inflammatory markers were measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. Inflammatory cell infiltration was evaluated by histopathological examination, and m RNA levels of related genes were evaluated by quantitative reverse transcription polymerase chain ***: JWC had a dose-dependent protective effect against H. pylori-induced gastritis by protecting gastric epithelial cells and inhibiting inflammatory cell infiltration. Mechanistically, JWC decreased the protein levels of phosphorylated IκBαand NF-κB p65, m RNA levels of NF-κB pathway molecules, and plasma levels of tumor necrosis factor-α and interleukin 1 ***: An important finding of our study is that JWC attenuated gastrointestinal inflammation and ulceration and exerted a protective effect against gastric injury via inhibition of inflammation reactions and regulating the canonical NF-κB signaling pathway in vivo.

Rapid identification of Dendrobium officinale using Loop-Mediated Isothermal Amplification (LAMP) method

Dendrobium officinale is not only an ornamental plant, but also a valuable medicinal herb that is widely used in traditional Chinese medicine. However, distinguishing D. officinale from other Dendrobium species is usually a difficult task. In this study,we developed a rapid identification protocol for D. officinale using the loop-mediated isothermal amplification(LAMP) method. A set of primers were specifically designed to detect a modified internal transcribed spacer region of D. officinale at 65 ℃ within 40 min after adding SYBR~? Green I, which was used for the detection of D. officinale. Unlike commonly used adulterants, reaction mixtures containing D. officinale DNA changed from orange to green, and this color change was easily observed with the naked eye. Thus, this methodology can be used to accurately differentiate D. officinale from other Dendrobium species, is quick as all D. officinale samples were amplified within 40 min, and specific as samples of the adulterants were not amplified. The specificity of this LAMP-based method was confirmed by testing 17 samples of D. officinale and 32 adulterant samples from other Dendrobium species. This LAMP-based rapid identification method does not require expensive equipment or specialized techniques and can be used in field surveys for accurate and fast on-site identification.
