Inhibition of the cGAS–STING pathway:contributing to the treatment of cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury

The cGAS–STING pathway plays an important role in ischemia-reperfusion injury in the heart,liver,brain,and kidney,but its role and mechanisms in cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury have not been systematically ***,we outline the components of the cGAS–STING pathway and then analyze its role in autophagy,ferroptosis,cellular pyroptosis,disequilibrium of calcium homeostasis,inflammatory responses,disruption of the blood–brain barrier,microglia transformation,and complement system activation following cerebral ischemia-reperfusion *** further analyze the value of cGAS–STING pathway inhibitors in the treatment of cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury and conclude that the pathway can regulate cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury through multiple *** of the cGAS–STING pathway may be helpful in the treatment of cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury.

The Fe-based ionic liquid doped g-C_3N_4(Fee CN) photocatalyst was firstly prepared base on ultrathin g-C_3N_4 obtained by multiple calcination method with a metal-based reactive ionic liquid [Omim]FeCl_4 for the degradation of Rhodamine B(RhB). Experimental results revealed that Fe3+species were doped into the framework of g-C_3N_4. The effect of the amount of Fe-doping on the catalytic activity was performed. The result showed that the Fee CN could effectively degrade RhB under the condition of visible light irradiation. The photocurrent analysis showed that the incorporation of Fe^(3+)into g-C_3N_4 material could accelerate the separation of the photogenerated carriers *** the same time, the reactive species generated during the photodegradation process were tested by radicals trapping experiments and electron spin resonance(ESR). It was proposed that the synergistic effect of■ and ·OH contributed to degrade RhB efficiently.

In order to investigate the cause of poor fruit set in 'Zuili' plums,anatomical examinations of post-bloom pistils were conducted and the dates of young fruit drop were recorded during the growing seasons of 2008 and *** of cv.'Black Amber' were also examined as an abundant setting *** major dropping periods were detected in 'Zuili':one during the first 5 d after full bloom (DAF) and another between 10 and 17 *** analyses of the pistils at the full bloom stage revealed that half of the ovules had not developed embryos,which may have caused their early *** most dropped pistils collected at 17 DAF,the micropyle had not been penetrated by a pollen tube,indicating that they were not fertilized.'Zuili' ovules initiated embryo division at 10-12 DAF,although thereafter embryo development was retarded when compared to the rates observed in 'Black Amber'.Ovule fertilization failure and inactive embryo development after ovule fertilization may be the major causes of the later fruit drop observed in 'Zuili' plum trees.

Initial Rifting Process and Dynamics Mechanism of Huaguang Sag: Evidence from a Numerical Modeling Method

Huaguang Sag is located in the deep seawater area of Qiongdongnan Basin, and its tectonic position belongs to the intersection of NE-trending, SN-trending and NW-trending tectonic systems in the continental margin of the Northwest South China Sea. To investigate the initial rifting process and further more the dynamics mechanism of Huaguang Sag, this paper sets up the structure model of basement which mainly makes up with several depression-controlling faults, and simulates the initial rifting process of Huaguang Sag by the FLAC software. The simulation results show that only affected by the S-N trending extensional stress, the rifting center appears in northern boundary basement faults(two NEE-trending and NWW-trending faults) of Huaguang Sag while does not take place at the NNE-trending and NE-trending basement fault zone in the middle sag, and doesn’t match the current pattern that the basement fault plays a main role in controlling the sediment. In the other case, affected by the S-N trending and E-W trending extensional stress at the same time, the areas of the northern boundary faults zone and internal NNE-trending basement faults zone come to be rifting center quickly, the sedimentary is controlled by the main basement faults to different degrees, and is consistent with the tectonic-sedimentary framework of Huaguang Sag which obtained by the data of geophysical interpretation. In combination with the analysis of regional tectonic background, the paper proposes that two remote tectonic effects occurred by the collision of India-Eurasian Plate: One remote effect was the rotational extrusion of Indo China Block, which led to form a series of NE-trending and NNE-trending basement faults, as well as the E-W trending tensile stress field in Huaguang Sag. The other remote effect was that the deep mantle material of South China Block flowed southward, which resulted in the S-N trending extensional rifting of the lithosphere in northern South China Sea, and finally fo

The Pulan-xiangquanhe ophiolite in the western Yarlung Tsangpo suture zone of Tibet is investigated for its geochemistry,geochronology,and tectonic implications in *** high resolution ion micro-probe zircon U-Pb dating reveals that diabases in the ophiolite from the three locations of Xugugab,Mapam Yum Co and La＇nga Co are dated at 122.3±2.5 Ma,118.8±1.8 Ma and 120.5±1.9 Ma,*** early Cretaceous mafic rocks have Na_2O＋K_2O,rare earth element patterns,trace elemental spider diagram and other geochemical fingerprints of typical mature back-arc basin ***,the Pulan-xiangquanhe ophiolite formed under a mature back-arc basin environment,which was a product of this intra-oceanic subduction system.A suprasubduction system could have existed in the southern margin of Eurasia,which involved both intra-oceanic and continent-ward *** dominated the southern margin of the Eurasian continent during the early Cretaceous.

Dear Editor,This letter deals with the stabilization problem of nonlinear stochastic systems via self-triggered impulsive control(STIC), where the timing of impulsive control actions is not dependent on continuous state monitoring. In contrast to the existing self-triggered control method, novel self-triggered mechanism(STM) is proposed by incorporating a waiting time for stabilizing impulses. This allows for direct prediction of the next impulsive instant.

The Jiang Tso ophiolite, situated in the middle segment of the Bangong- Nujiang Suture Zone, is a part of the easternmost Qieli Lake ophiolite subzone and is close to the south of Pung Lake ophiolite. The rock association of Jiang Tso ophiolite is relatively complete and is mainly composed of metamorphic peridotite, gabbro and diabase. Comparing with N-MORB, the ophiolite is high in Mg and low in Ti, K, Na, P, and is depleted in Nb, Ta, Hf, Th and enriched in Rb, Sr and Ba. Geochemical characteristics of the Jiang Tso ophiolite indicate it is of a supra-subduction zone type formed in the spreading ridge of back arc basin. The SHRIMP U-Pb dating of zircons from the gabbro yielded a weighted average age of 188.1±4.1 Ma （MSWD=1.4）, indicating the Jiang Tso ophiolite was formed in the late stage of early Jurassic. The Sr, Nd isotopic compositions show that the Tethyan mantle domain is the depleted mantle （DM）, with enriched mantle domain II （EMII）. They have the same Sr, Nd isotopic composition with the India Ocean MORB type.
