The title complex Mn（HL）4（NCS）2（CH3CH2OH）2 has been achieved via selfassembly by incorporating manganese（Ⅱ） into pyridine-3-carbaldehyde thiosemicarbazonate ligand, and characterized by elemental analysis and single-crystal X-ray diffraction study. The crystal crystallizes in triclinic, space group PI^-, with a = 8.896（2）, b = 9.530（2）, c = 14.520（4）°A, α = 87.035（4）, β= 88.112（4）, γ= 69.434（4）°, V= 1150.9（5）°A^3, Z = 1, Mr = 984.17, Dc = 1.420 g/cm^3,μ（MoKα） = 0.612 mm^-1, F（000） = 511, the final R = 0.0574 and wR = 0.1547 for 2855 observed reflections with I〉2σ（I）. The complex contains one six-coordinated manganese ion connected by two thiosemicarbazide ligands, in which the thiosemicarbazone ligand acts as a monodentate ligand and coordinates to the center metal atoms via the pyridyl nitrogen atoms, two ethanol molecules and two isothiocyanic anions to give rise to a mononuclear structure. The coordination of a potentially tridentate thiosemicarbazone in manganese（Ⅱ） complex without using its sulfur and imine nitrogen sites is unusual. Hydrogen bonds existing in the complex link the different components to stabilize the crystal structure.

As a carrier of knowledge,papers have been a popular choice since ancient times for documenting everything from major historical events to breakthroughs in science and *** the booming development of science and technology,the number of papers has been growing *** like the fact that Internet of Things(IoT)allows the world to be connected in a flatter way,how will the network formed by massive academic papers look like?Most existing visualization methods can only handle up to hundreds of thousands of node size,which is much smaller than that of academic networks which are usually composed of millions or even more *** this paper,we are thus motivated to break this scale limit and design a new visualization method particularly for super-large-scale academic networks(VSAN).Nodes can represent papers or authors while the edges means the relation(e.g.,citation,coauthorship)between *** order to comprehensively improve the visualization effect,three levels of optimization are taken into account in the whole design of VSAN in a progressive manner,i.e.,bearing scale,loading speed,and effect of layout *** main contributions are two folded:(1)We design an equivalent segmentation layout method that goes beyond the limit encountered by state-of-the-arts,thus ensuring the possibility of visually revealing the correlations of larger-scale academic entities.(2)We further propose a hierarchical slice loading approach that enables users to observe the visualized graphs of the academic network at both macroscopic and microscopic levels,with the ability to quickly zoom between different *** addition,we propose a“jumping between nebula graphs”method that connects the static pages of many academic graphs and helps users to form a more systematic and comprehensive understanding of various academic *** our methods to three academic paper citation datasets in the AceMap database confirms the visualization scalability of VSAN in t

Trimethylamine oxide(TMAO) is a microbiota-derived metabolite, and numerous studies have shown that it could regulate fat metabolism in humans and mice. However, few studies have focused on the effects of TMAO on fat deposition in growing-finishing pigs. This study aimed to investigate the effect of TMAO on fat deposition and intestinal microbiota in growing-finishing pigs. Sixteen growing pigs were randomly divided into 2 groups and fed with a basal diet with 0 or 1 g/kg TMAO for 149 d. The intestinal microbial profiles, fat deposition indexes, and fatty acid profiles were measured. These results showed that TMAO supplementation had a tendency to decrease lean body mass(P line phosphatase(ALP) concentration in serum(P linoleic acid, n-6polyunsaturated fatty acids(PUFA), and PUFA in the liver(P < 0.05). On the contrary, TMAO increased intramuscular fat content of the longissimus dorsi muscle, whereas the C18:2n6c ratio was increased,and the n-6 PUFA:PUFA ratio was decreased(P < 0.05). In vitro, 1 mmol/L TMAO treatment significantly upregulated the expression of FASN and SREBP1 in C2C12 cells(P < 0.05). Nevertheless, TMAO also increased adipocyte area and decreased the CPT-1B expression in subcutaneous fat(P < 0.05). Taken together, TMAO supplementation regulated ileal microbial composition and acetate production, and regulated fat distribution and fatty acid composition in growing-finishing pigs. These results

Bats,notable as the only flying mammals,serve as natural reservoir hosts for various highly pathogenic viruses in humans(e.g.,SARS-CoV and Ebola virus).Furthermore,bats exhibit an unparalleled longevity among mammals relative to their size,particularly the Myotis bats,which can live up to 40 ***,the mechanisms underlying these distinctive traits remain incompletely *** our prior research,we demonstrated that bats exhibit dampened STING-interferon activation,potentially conferring upon them the capacity to mitigate virus-or aging-induced *** substantiate this hypothesis,we established the first in vivo bat-mouse model for aging studies by integrating Myotis davidii bat STING(MdSTING)into the mouse *** monitored the genotypes of these mice and performed a longitudinal comparative transcriptomic analysis on MdSTING and wild-type mice over a 3-year aging *** transcriptomic analysis indicated a reduction in aging-related inflammation in female MdSTING mice,as evidenced by significantly lower levels of pro-inflammatory cytokines and chemokines,immunopathology,and neutrophil recruitment in aged female MdSTING mice compared to aged wild-type mice in *** results indicated that MdSTING knock-in attenuates the aging-related inflammatory response and may also improve the healthspan in mice in a sex-dependent *** the underlying mechanism awaits further study,this research has critical implications for bat longevity research,potentially contributing to our comprehension of healthy aging in humans.

Nitro-aromatic compounds(NACs)are among the major components of brown carbon(BrC)in the atmosphere,causing negative impacts on regional climate,air quality,and ecological *** to the extensive origins,it is still a challenge to figure out the contributions and originating regions for different sources of atmospheric ***,field observations on fine particulate NACs were conducted at a coastal rural area in Qingdao,China in the winter of 2018 and *** mean total concentrations of fine particulate nitro-aromatic compounds were 125.0±89.5 and 27.7±21.1 ng/m^(3)in the winter of 2018 and 2019,*** the measured eleven NACs,nitrophenols and nitrocatechols were the most abundant *** characteristics and correlation analysis showed that humidity and anthropogenic primary emissions had significant influences on the NAC *** this study,two tracing methods of the improved spatial concentration weighted trajectory(SCWT)model and the receptor model of positive matrix factorization(PMF)were combined to comprehensively understand the origins of NACs in fine particles at coastal *** major sources were identified,including coal combustion,biomass burning,vehicle exhaust,and secondary ***,coal combustion was responsible for about half of the observed nitro-aromatic compounds,followed by biomass burning(~30%).The results by SCWT demonstrated that the coal combustion dominated NACs mainly originated from the Shandong peninsula and the areas to the north and southwest,while those dominated by biomass burning primarily came from local Qingdao and the areas to the west.

In this research,a series of Sm3+doped CsLu（WO4）2phosphors was prepared via high temperature solid phase technique to design new red phosphors and optical thermometric *** structures,morphology,band gap and luminescence properties were characterized by X-ray diffraction,scanning electron microscopy,diffuse reflection and luminescence spectra,*** UV excitation,CsLu（WO4）2gives rise to a blue broad emission band between 350 and 700 nm,which stems from the3T1u→1A1gtransition of *** Sm3+is introduced into CsLu（WO4）2,energy transfer between WO66-groups and Sm3+ions takes place in CsLu（WO4）2:Sm3+phosphors,and color-tunable luminescence from blue to red is realized by controlling the Sm3+doping *** energy transfer efficiency between WO66-groups and Sm3+ons was analyzed,and the energy transfer mechanism was determined to be dipole-dipole *** to the temperature-dependent luminescence spectra,WO66-groups and Sm3+ions exhibit large discrepancy in thermal quenching rates,and thus the temperature sensing properties of CsLu（WO4）2:Sm3+in the temperature range of 283-403 K were *** on the framework of fluorescence intensity ratio theory,the basic optical thermometry parameters including absolute and relative sensitivity of CsLu（WO4）2:Sm3+we re calculated and the results show that it has great potential for application in optical thermometry.

Supramolecular polymer networks(SPNs)are celebrated for their dynamic nature,yet they often exhibit inadequate mechanical *** far,the quest to bolster the mechanical resilience of SPNs while preserving their dynamic character presents a formidable ***,we introduce[2]rotaxane into SPN to serve as another cross-link,which could effectively enhance the mechanical robustness of the polymer network without losing the dynamic *** with SPN,the dually cross-linked network(DPN)demonstrates superior breaking strength,Young’s modulus,puncture force and toughness,underscoring its superior ***,the cyclic tensile tests reveal that the energy dissipation capacity of DPN rivals,and in some cases surpasses,that of SPN,owing to the efficient energy dissipation pathway facilitated by[2]*** addition,benefiting from stable topological structure of[2]rotaxane,DPN exhibits accelerated recovery from deformation,indicating superior elasticity compared to *** strategy elevates the performance of SPNs across multiple metrics,presenting a promising avenue for the development of high-performance dynamic materials.

BACKGROUND Colorectal cancer(CRC)is a common malignant tumor,and liver metastasis is one of the main recurrence and metastasis modes that seriously affect patients’survival rate and quality of *** such as albumin bilirubin(ALBI)score,liver function index,and carcinoembryonic antigen(CEA)have shown some potential in the prediction of liver metastasis but have not been fully *** To evaluate its predictive value for liver metastasis of CRC by conducting the combined analysis of ALBI,liver function index,and CEA,and to provide a more accurate liver metastasis risk assessment tool for clinical treatment *** This study retrospectively analyzed the clinical data of patients with CRC who received surgical treatment in our hospital from January 2018 to July 2023 and were followed up for 24 *** to the follow-up results,the enrolled patients were divided into a liver metastasis group and a nonliver metastasis group and randomly divided into a modeling group and a verification group at a ratio of 2:*** risk factors for liver metastasis in patients with CRC were analyzed,a prediction model was constructed by least absolute shrinkage and selection operator(LASSO)logistic regression,internal validation was performed by the bootstrap method,the reliability of the prediction model was evaluated by subject-work characteristic curves,calibration curves,and clinical decision curves,and a column graph was drawn to show the prediction *** Of 130 patients were enrolled in the modeling group and 65 patients were enrolled in the verification group out of the 195 patients with CRC who fulfilled the inclusion and exclusion *** LASSO regression variable screening and logistic regression *** ALBI score,alanine aminotransferase(ALT),and CEA were found to be independent predictors of liver metastases in CRC patients[odds ratio(OR)=8.062,95%confidence interval(CI):2.545-25.540],(OR=1.037,95%CI:1.004-1.071)and(OR=1.0
