Chinese Assam tea(Camellia sinensis ***)is an important tea crop with a long history of cultivation in Yunnan,*** its potential value as a genetic resource,its genetic diversity and domestication/breeding history remain *** address this issue,we genotyped 469 ancient tea plant trees representing 26 *** *** populations,plus two of its wild relatives(six and three populations of *** and ***,respectively)using 16 nuclear microsatellite *** showed that Chinese Assam tea has a relatively high,but comparatively lower gene diversity(H_(S)=0.638)than the wild relative ***(H_S=0.658).Clustering in STRUCTURE indicated that Chinese Assam tea and its two wild relatives formed distinct genetic groups,with considerable interspecific *** Chinese Assam tea accessions clustered into three gene pools,corresponding well with their geographic ***,New Hybrids analysis indicated that 68.48%of ancient Chinese Assam tea plants from Xishuangbanna were genetic intermediates between the Puer and lincang gene *** addition,10%of the ancient Chinese Assam tea individuals were found to be hybrids between Chinese Assam tea and *** results suggest that Chinese Assam tea was domesticated separately in three gene pools(Puer,lincang and Xishuangbanna)in the mekong River valley and that the hybrids were subsequently selected during the domestication *** the domestication history of Chinese Assam tea in southwestern Yunnan remains complex,our results will help to identify valuable genetic resources that may be useful in future tea breeding programs.

Owing to the distinctive structural characteristics,vanadium nitride(VN)is highly regarded as a catalyst for oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)in zinc-air batteries(ZABs).However,VN exhibits limited intrinsic ORR activity due to the weak adsorption ability to O-containing ***,the S-doped VN anchored on N,S-doped multi-dimensional carbon(S-VN/Co/NS-mC)was constructed using the solvothermal and in-situ doping *** sulfur atoms into VN species alters the electron spin state of vanadium in the S-VN/Co/NS-mC for regulating the adsorption energy of vanadium sites to oxygen *** introduced sulfur atoms polarize the V 3d_(z)^(2) electrons,shifting spin-down electrons closer to the Fermi level in the S-VN/Co/***,the introduction of sulfur atoms into VN species enhances the adsorption energy of vanadium sites for oxygen ****OOH dissociation transitions from being unspontaneous on the VN surface to a spontaneous state on the S-doped VN ***,the ORR barrier on the S-VN/Co/NS-mC surface is *** S-VN/Co/NS-mC demonstrates a higher half-wave potential and limiting current density compared to the VN/Co/*** S-VN/Co/NS-mC-based liquid ZABs display a power density of 195.7 m W cm^(-2),a specific capacity of 815.7 m A h g^(-1),and a cycling stability exceeding 250 *** S-VN/Co/NS-mC-based flexible ZABs are successfully employed to charge both a smart watch and a mobile *** approach holds promise for advancing the commercial utilization of VN-based catalysts in ZABs.

Influence of O-O formation pathways and charge transfer mediator on lipid bilayer membrane-like photoanodes for water oxidation

Inspired by the function of crucial components in photosystemⅡ(PSⅡ),electrochemical and dyesensitized photoelectrochemical(DSPEC)water oxidation devices were constructed by the selfassembly of well-designed amphipathic Ru(bda)-based catalysts(bda=2,2'-bipyrdine-6,6'-dicarbonoxyl acid)and aliphatic chain decorated electrode surfaces,forming lipid bilayer membrane(LBm)-like *** Ru(bda)catalysts on electrode-supported LBm films demonstrated remarkable water oxidation performance with different O-O formation ***,compared to the slow charge transfer process,the O-O formation pathways did not determine the PEC water oxidation efficiency of the dyesensitized photoanodes,and the different reaction rates for similar catalysts with different catalytic paths did not determine the PEC performance of the ***,charge transfer plays a decisive role in the PEC water oxidation *** an indolo[3,2-b]carbazole derivative was introduced between the Ru(bda)catalysts and aliphatic chain-modified photosensitizer in LBm films,serving as a charge transfer mediator for the tyrosine-histidine pair in PSⅡ,the PEC water oxidation performance of the corresponding photoanodes was dramatically enhanced.

Elaidic acid leads to mitochondrial dysfunction via mitochondria-associated membranes triggers disruption of mitochondrial calcium fluxes

Elaidic acid(EA)stimulation can lead to endoplasmic reticulum stress(ERS),accompanied by a large release of Ca^(2+),and ultimately the activation of NLRP3 inflammasome in Kupffer cells(KCs).mitochondrial instability or dysfunction may be the key stimulating factors to activate NLRP3 inflammasome,and sustained Ca^(2+)transfer can result in mitochondrial *** focused on KCs to explore the damage to mitochondria by *** EA stimulation,cells produced an oxidative stress(OS)response with a significant increase in ROS *** experiments and the addition of inhibitors revealed that the increase in the level of intracellular Ca^(2+)led to Ca^(2+)accumulation in the mitochondrial matrix via mitochondria-associated membranes(mAms).This was accompanied by a significant release of m ROS,loss of mmP and ATP,and a significant increase in mitochondrial permeability transition pore opening,ultimately leading to mitochondrial *** findings confirmed the mechanism that EA induced mitochondrial Ca^(2+)imbalance in KCs via mAm,ultimately leading to mitochondrial ***,EA induced OS and the decrease of mmP and ATP in rat liver,and significant lesions were found in liver *** of the inner mitochondrial cristae and mitochondrial vacuolization occurred,with a marked increase in lipid droplets.

Trade-off analyses between food provision and soil conservation service of Grain for Green Program in mountainous Area

The Grain for Green Program and soil and water conservation engineering initiatives are crucial for controlling erosion in steep-slope ***,it is still unclear how these two management methods should be carried out in respect to the situation in mountainous ***,taking a typical mountainous area in southwest China as an example,we simulated six scenarios in order to compare the food provisioning service(FPS)and soil conservation service of the Grain for Green Program(converting to grassland)and Construction measures(converting to sloping terrace)under different *** showed that when farmland with a>25°slope was converted into grassland,the amount of soil erosion(m)decreased by 21.0%,while FPS decreased by only 0.7%.However,when farmland with a>25°slope was converted into sloping terrace,m decreased by 31.3%while FPS increased by 18.7%.With the increases of farmland slope ranges in the Construction measures scenario,m gradually decreased and FPS gradually *** when farmland>15°was converted into sloping terrace,m decreased by 63.9%and FPS increased by 52.7%.Furthermore,the trade-offs of Construction measures are lower than that of Grain for Green on different slope ***,we conclude that Construction measures are a more suitable method in mountainous areas than the Grain for Green,and we suggest that further research be conducted to consider the ecological risks of construction engineering measures.

The advent of chimeric antigen receptor(CAR)-T cell immunotherapies has led to breakthroughs in the treatment of hematological ***,their success in treating solid tumors has been ***-natural killer(NK)cells have several advantages over CAR-T cells because NK cells can be made from pre-existing cell lines or allogeneic NK cells with a mismatched major histocompatibility complex(mHC),which means they are more likely to become an"off-the-shelf"***,they can kill cancer cells via CAR-dependent/independent pathways and have limited *** are the most malleable immune cells in the *** cells can efficiently infiltrate into tumors and are present in large numbers in tumor microenvironments(TmEs).Importantly,CAR-macrophages(CAR-ms)have recently yielded exciting preclinical results in several solid ***,CAR-T,CAR-NK,and CAR-m all have their own advantages and *** this review,we systematically discuss the current status,progress,and the major hurdles of CAR-T cells,CAR-NK cells,and CAR-m as they relate to five aspects:CAR structure,therapeutic mechanisms,the latest research progress,current challenges and solutions,and comparison according to the existing research in order to provide a reasonable option for treating solid tumors in the future.

Impact of the Complex Terrain in Beijing on Formation of Low-Level Jets

This study investigated how the Taihang mountains and the Yanshan mountains affect low-level jets(LLJs)in the Beijing area,based on conventional radiosonde observations from Nanjiao Observatory(2016–2017)and high-resolution Weather Research and Forecasting–Advanced Research WRF(WRF-ARW)model *** of radiosonde observations indicated that LLJs in the study area are mainly from the southwest and northwest directions,with occurrence frequency of 44.6%and 33.0%,***(northwest)LLJs are aligned parallel(perpendicular)to the orientation of the Taihang mountain *** sensitivity experiments using the WRF-ARW model were then conducted to examine the effects of terrain forcing on the northwest and southwest LLJs,with adopted terrain heights of 100%and 50%.The results showed that for northwest LLJs,reduction in the elevation of the Taihang mountain Range led to weakening of jet intensity by approximately 20%and reduction in jet maximum height by approximately 250 m;lowering the Yanshan mountain Range had minor influence on the northwest LLJs,with only a 5.2%reduction in intensity and no substantial change in jet maximum *** southwest LLJs,reduction in the elevation of both the Taihang and Yanshan mountain ranges resulted in minor changes in the intensity and height of the *** analysis revealed that the topography in the Beijing area could modulate the height and intensity of the stable layer by altering the inversion structure within the boundary *** LLJs can develop rapidly within the stable layer,and both the location and the scale of the jet core exhibited reasonable agreement with the extent of the stable layer.

The influence of inter-band rock on rib spalling in longwall panel with large mining height

In order to improve rib stability,failure criteria and instability mode of a thick coal seam with inter-band rock layer are analysed in this study.A three-dimensional mechanical model is established for the rib by considering the rock layer.A safety factor is defined foy the rib,and it is observed that the safety factor exhibits a positive correlation with the thickness and strength of the inter-band rock.A calculation method for determining critical parameters of the rock layer is presented to ensure the rib *** is revealed that incomplete propagation of the fracture at the hard rock constitutes a fundamental prerequisite for ensuring the rib *** influence of the position of the inter-band rock in the coal seam on failure mechanism of the rib was thoroughly investigated by developing a series of physical models for the rib at the face *** best position for the inter-band rock in the coal seam is at a height of 1.5 m away from the roof line,which tends to provide a good stability state for the *** different inter-band rock positions,two ways of controlling rib by increasing supports stiffness and flexible grouting reinforcement are proposed.

The success of deep transfer learning in fault diagnosis is attributed to the collection of high-quality labeled data from the source ***,in engineering scenarios,achieving such high-quality label annotation is difficult and *** incorrect label annotation produces two negative effects:1)the complex decision boundary of diagnosis models lowers the generalization performance on the target domain,and2)the distribution of target domain samples becomes misaligned with the false-labeled *** overcome these negative effects,this article proposes a solution called the label recovery and trajectory designable network(LRTDN).LRTDN consists of three ***,a residual network with dual classifiers is to learn features from cross-domain ***,an annotation check module is constructed to generate a label anomaly indicator that could modify the abnormal labels of false-labeled samples in the source *** the training of relabeled samples,the complexity of diagnosis model is reduced via semi-supervised ***,the adaptation trajectories are designed for sample distributions across *** ensures that the target domain samples are only adapted with the pure-labeled *** LRTDN is verified by two case studies,in which the diagnosis knowledge of bearings is transferred across different working conditions as well as different yet related *** results show that LRTDN offers a high diagnosis accuracy even in the presence of incorrect annotation.
