The durability of sealing material is one of the major challenges to the overall lifetime of proton exchange membrane fuel cell(PEMFC). In order to study the failure mode and aging mechanism of fuel cell seals, this paper focuses on the most widely used commercial silicone rubber, and an ex-situ accelerated aging method was employed by simulating the circumstance of PEMFC, including higher temperature and clamping force, lower p H value and F-with higher concentration. The main factors that affect the performance of the seal were obtained through the test of their morphologies and mechanical properties. The failure mode of the aging mechanism of the rubbers were analyzed through scanning electron microscopy(SEM), energy dispersive spectrometer(EDS),attenuated-total-reflection infrared spectroscopy(ATR-IR), mass loss, compression set(CS), etc. It was found that temperature played an important role in the deterioration of seal performance, and the change of the parameters of the compression set with time conformed the dynamic empirical formula, which provides the experimental basis for the lifetime prediction of the seals.

This study investigated whether competitive reduction of pathogenic bacteria growth in pond water alleviates lipopolysaccharide （LPS） contamination and improves geese production performances in the ＂goose-fish＂ production system, thereby providing the potential for an improved technique for ecological water fowl production. In the first experiment, 240 Magang goslings of 15-d age were randomly and equally allocated into 16 ＂yard and pond＂ pens using a 2-2 factorial design with 4 replications per treatment. In the 55-d experimental period, the goslings received 2 main treatments： supplementation of Bacillus subtilis spores in the feed and addition of photosynthetic bacteria （PSB） to the pond water. Both B. subtilis spores and PSB treatments significantly suppressed water counts of Gram-negative bacteria Escherichia coli, Salmonella and Shigella, and LPS concentrations in pond water and in gosling blood （P〈0.05）. As the result, the two treatments significantly improved gosling weight gain and carcass quality, marked by enhanced breast and leg muscle percentages and reduced subcutaneous fat proportions （P〈0.05）. Moreover, the improved effects of B. subtilis spores and PSB treatments were additive. In the second experiment, 1 160 adult geese were induced to start egg laying from May throughout the summer months. The geese were separated equally into control and experimental flocks to fit into 2 integration production units, with a density of 1 bird m-2 meter on pond water. Experimental flock geese were treated with B. subtilis spores in feed and PSB in the pond water for the duration of the study. Such treatment combination significantly depressed the growth of E. coli, Salmonella and Shigella in the pond water and reduced LPS concentrations both in pond water and in geese blood （P〈0.01）. The formation mechanism for the body-centred regular icosahedral structure of li13 cluster is proposed. The curve of the total energy versus the separation R between the nucleus at the centre and nuclei at the apexes for this structure of li13 has been calculated by using the method of Gou＇s modified arrangement channel quantum mechanics （MACQM）. The result shows that the curve has a minimal energy of-96.951 39 a.u. at R = 5.46ao. When R approaches to infinity, the total energy of thirteen lithium atoms has the value of-96.564 38 a.u. So the binding energy of lii3 with respect to thirteen lithium atoms is 0.387 01 a.u. Therefore the binding energy per atom for lii3 is 0.029 77 a.u. or 0.810 eV, which is greater than the binding energy per atom of 0.453 eV for li2, 0.494 eV for li3, 0.7878 eV for li4. 0.632 eV for lis, and 0.674 eV for liv calculated by us previously. This means that the li13 cluster may be formed stably in a body-centred regular icosahedral structure with a greater binding energy.

The novel reactive transfer printing of silk was carried out through a hot-press adhesion and steaming. The special transfer paper was prepared by coating the paste mainly containing hot-melt adhesive hlgh-substituted hydroxypropyl cellulose （H-HPC） and printing thickener earboxymethyl cellulose （CMC）. The effects of each ingredient in the paste on color yield of the prints and dye penetration were investigated. The major results indicate that, color yield is chiefly governed by the adhesion extent imparted by H-HPC, the type of fixing alkaline agent, and the content of urea. Trichloroacetic acid （TCAA） as the fixing alkaline agent and adding 5% urea can enhance the color depth obviously. Dye penetration depends on the coating quantity on the transfer paper, the contents of urea and dicyandiamide. The printed silk possesses a higher color yield, color fastness of grade 3 or above, clear sharpness, and good handle when the paste contains 3 % H-HPC, 0. 7 % CMC, 3 % TCAA, 5 % urea, 3 % dicyandiamide, and 0. 5 % physical sorbent nano-silica.
