Genetic behavior of Triticum aestivum–Dasypyrum villosum translocation chromosomes T6V#4S·6DL and T6V#2S·6AL carrying powdery mildew resistance

T6V#2S·6AL and T6V#4S·6DL translocation chromosomes developed from the cross of wheat and different Dasypyrum villosum accessions have good powdery mildew （PM） resistance, but their pairing and pyramiding behavior remains unclear. Results in this study indicated that the pairing frequency rate of the two differently originated 6VS chromosomes in their F1 hybrid was 18.9% according to genomic in situ hybridization （GISH）; the PM resistance plants in the F2 generation from the cross between T6V#4S·6DL translocation line Pm97033 and its PM susceptible wheat variety Wan7107 was fewer than expected. However, the ratio of the resistant vs. the susceptible plants of 15：1 in the F2 generation derived from the cross between the two translocation lines of T6V#2S·6AL and T6V#4S·6DL fitted well. Plants segregation ratio （homozygous：heterozygous：lacking） revealed by molecular marker for T6V#4S·6DL or T6V#2S·6AL in their F2 populations fitted the expected values of 1：2：1 well, inferring that the pairing of the two alien chromosome arms facilitates the transmission of T6V#4S·6DL from the F1 to the F2 generation. A quadrivalent was also observed in 21% of pollen mother cells （PMCs） of homozygote plants containing the two pairs of translocated chromosomes. The chromosome pairing between 6V#2S and 6V#4S indicates that it will be possible to obtain recombinants and clarify if the PM resistance determinant on one alien chromosome arm is different from that on the other.

Temporal knowledge graph(TKG) reasoning, has seen widespread use for modeling real-world events, particularly in extrapolation settings. Nevertheless, most previous studies are embedded models, which require both entity and relation embedding to make predictions, ignoring the semantic correlations among different entities and relations within the same timestamp. This can lead to random and nonsensical predictions when unseen entities or relations occur. Furthermore, many existing models exhibit limitations in handling highly correlated historical facts with extensive temporal depth. They often either overlook such facts or overly accentuate the relationships between recurring past occurrences and their current counterparts. Due to the dynamic nature of TKG, effectively capturing the evolving semantics between different timestamps can be *** address these shortcomings, we propose the recurrent semantic evidenceaware graph neural network(RE-SEGNN), a novel graph neural network that can learn the semantics of entities and relations simultaneously. For the former challenge, our model can predict a possible answer to missing quadruples based on semantics when facing unseen entities or relations. For the latter problem, based on an obvious established force, both the recency and frequency of semantic history tend to confer a higher reference value for the current. We use the Hawkes process to compute the semantic trend, which allows the semantics of recent facts to gain more attention than those of distant facts. Experimental results show that RE-SEGNN outperforms all SOTA models in entity prediction on 6 widely used datasets, and 5 datasets in relation prediction. Furthermore, the case study shows how our model can deal with unseen entities and relations.

Seed germination of Jacaranda mimosifolia treated with Indoleacetic Acid （IAA） and Naphthylacetic Acid （NAA） was investigated. Seeds were collected from 55-year-old plants in March 2012 in Chengdu Wenjiang Park in China and sown on illumination incubator at 25 ℃/18℃ （day/might） under 15 h light after soaked 24 h with 0, 50, 100 and 200 mg L-1 IAA, NAA solutions. The thousand seed weight ofJ. mimosifolia was 9.039 g and seed average vigor was 32.7%. Germination rate was 13.3% without treatment, and seeds with 50, 100 and 200 mg L-1 IAA treatment showed germination rate of 20.0%, 22.3% and 25.0%, respectively, whereas the rate was 18.3%, 20.0% and 23.3% in 50, 100 and 200 mg L-1 NAA treatment. There was significant difference between 100, 200 mg L-1 and other IAA treatment, but only 200 mg L-1 NAA treatment had significant difference among others. It showed that IAA could promote seed germination more significantly than NAA in the same concentration conditions. These results indicate that soaking by 100 and 200 mg L-1 IAA or 200 mg L-1 NAA for 24 h, seed germination rate ofJ. mimosifolia can be significantly improved and robust seedlings obtained from germinated seeds.

β-ray-induced X-ray spectroscopy(BIXS)is a promising method for tritium detection in solid materials because of its unique advantages,such as large detection depth,nondestructive testing capabilities,and low requirements for sample ***,high-accuracy reconstruction of the tritium depth profile remains a significant challenge for this *** this study,a novel reconstruction method based on a backpropagation(BP)neural network algorithm that demonstrates high accuracy,broad applicability,and robust noise resistance is *** average reconstruction error calculated using the BP network(8.0%)was much lower than that obtained using traditional numerical methods(26.5%).In addition,the BP method can accurately reconstruct BIX spectra of samples with an unknown range of tritium and exhibits wide applicability to spectra with various tritium ***,the BP network demonstrates superior accuracy and stability compared to numerical methods when reconstructing the spectra,with a relative uncertainty ranging from 0 to 10%.This study highlights the advantages of BP networks in accurately reconstructing the tritium depth profile from BIXS and promotes their further application in tritium detection.

We theoretically investigate the spin resolved Friedel oscillation(FO)and quasiparticle interference(QPI)in graphene induced by an Anderson *** the impurity becomes magnetic,the resulted FO becomes spin dependent,which gives rise to a local magnetic moment oscillation with an envelop decaying as r^(-2) in real space in the doping ***,at half filling,the electron density and local magnetic moment will not oscillate but decay as r^(-3).Such spin resolved FO has both sublattice and spin ***,the local magnetic moment decay at half filling only occurs at one sublattice of graphene,which is quite like the phenomenon observed in the STM experiment(***ález-Herrero et al.,Science 352,437(2016)).We further give an analytic formula about such spin dependent FO based on the stationary phase ***,we study the interference of quasiparticles around the magnetic impurity by calculating the spin dependent Fourier-transformed local density of states(FT-LDOS).Our work gives a comprehensive understanding about the local magnetic moment oscillation around an Anderson impurity on graphene.

With the continuous increase in the disposal volume of spent lithium-ion batteries(liBs),properly recycling spent liBs has become essential for the advancement of the circular *** study presents a systematic analysis of the chlorination roasting kinetics and proposes a new two-step chlorination roasting process that integrates thermodynamics for the recycling of liB cathode *** activation energy for the chloride reaction was 88.41 kJ/mol according to thermogravimetric analysis–derivative thermogravimetry data obtained by using model-free,model-fitting,and Z(α)function(αis conversion rate).Results indicated that the reaction was dominated by the first-order(F1)model when the conversion rate was less than or equal to 0.5 and shifted to the second-order(F2)model when the conversion rate exceeded *** conditions were determined by thoroughly investigating the effects of roasting temperature,roasting time,and the mass ratio of NH_(4)Cl to liCoO_(2).Under the optimal conditions,namely 400℃,20 min,and NH_(4)Cl/liCoO_(2)mass ratio of 3:1,the leaching efficiency of li and Co reached 99.43% and 99.05%,*** of the roasted products revealed that valuable metals in liCoO_(2)transformed into CoCl_(2) and ***,the reaction mechanism was elucidated,providing insights for the establishment of a novel low-temperature chlorination roasting technology based on a crystal structure *** technology can guide the development of liB recycling processes with low energy consumption,low secondary pollution,high recovery efficiency,and high added value.
