A novel meta steel with negative Poisson’s ratio effect(termed as micro-NPR steel)is developed for rock support in deep underground *** possesses high strength,high ductility,and high energy absorption *** this paper,static tension and modified dynamic drop hammer tests are performed on this novel material to investigate its mechanical properties *** based on this material,a new generation of micro-NPR anchor cable is developed and applied in field tests subjected to blasting dynamic *** results of laboratory tests reveal that the ultimate elongation of micro-NPR steel under dynamic impacts is more than 30%and it is over 1.5 times that of Q2.5;the plastic and total energy absorption of micro-NPR are both significantly higher than that of *** test indicates the fine controlling effect of micro-NPR anchor cable on surrounding rock mass under dynamic *** force confirms that micro-NPR cables can distribute and absorb the dynamic energy uniformly around the supported rock when subjected to dynamic disturbance,avoiding local failure induced by excessive stress *** excavation compensation principle and energy-absorbing characteristics are used to explain the support ***,micro-NPR material and anchor cable can control and prevent dynamic disasters in deep underground engineering effectively.

Background:Climate change profoundly shapes the population health at the global ***,there was still insufficient and inconsistent evidence for the association between heat exposure and chronic kidney disease(CKD).Methods:In the present study,we studied the association of heat exposure with hospitalizations for cause-specific CKD using a national inpatient database in{2. during the study period of hot season from 2.1. to *** time-series regression models and random-effects Meta-analysis were developed to estimate the city-specific and national averaged associations at a 7 lag-day span,***:A total of 768,12. hospitalizations for CKD was recorded during the study *** results showed that higher temperature was associated with elevated risk of hospitalizations for CKD,especially in sub-tropical *** a 1℃ increase in daily mean temperature,the cumulative relative risks(RR)over lag 0-7 d were 1.008[95% confidence interval(CI)1.003-1.012.for *** attributable fraction of CKD hospitalizations due to high temperatures was 5.50%.Stronger associations were observed among younger patients and those with obstructive *** study also found that exposure to heatwaves was associated with added risk of hospitalizations for CKD compared to non-heatwave days(RR=1.116,95%CI 1.069-1.166)above the effect of daily mean ***:Short-term heat exposure may increase the risk of hospitalization for *** findings provide insights into the health effects of climate change and suggest the necessity of guided protection strategies against the adverse effects of high temperatures.

Phlegmine A(1),a novel type of Lycopodium alkaloid with a unique skeleton,was isolated from the rare and endangered herbal medicinal plant,Phlegmariurus *** methods and X-ray diffraction analysis were employed to unambiguously elucidate the structure of phlegmine A(1).Furthermore,we realized the asymmetric total synthesis of the natural product phlegmine A(1)in 18 linear steps from commercial ingredients,achieving a 1.3%overall *** intramolecular carbene cyclization,dimethyldioxirane(DMDO)enamine oxidation,and Stevens rearrangement were exploited to establish the sterically congested vicinal quaternary centers,and an epimerization/aldol condensation/deacetylation reaction was utilized for the rapid assembly of enone at the final *** our semisynthesis attempts,a novel transformation was developed to constructα-aminoketone from enamine ***,the synthetic sample obtained from this work enabled the successful verification of phlegmine A(1)as a new type of highly selective acidsensing ion channel 1a(ASIC1a)inhibitor,which also exerted an in vivo analgesic effect,rendering it a promising lead compound.

Attempts have been made to use cell transplantation and biomaterials to promote cell proliferation,differentiation,migration,and survival,as well as angiogenesis,in the context of brain ***,whether bioactive materials can repair the damage caused by ischemic stroke by activating endogenous neurogenesis and angiogenesis is still *** this study,we applied chitosan gel loaded with basic fibroblast growth factor to the stroke cavity 7 days after ischemic stroke in *** gel slowly released basic fibroblast growth factor,which improved the local microenvironment,activated endogenous neural stem/progenitor cells,and recruited these cells to migrate toward the penumbra and stroke cavity and subsequently differentiate into neurons,while enhancing angiogenesis in the penumbra and stroke cavity and ultimately leading to partial functional *** study revealed the mechanism by which bioactive materials repair ischemic strokes,thus providing a new strategy for the clinical application of bioactive materials in the treatment of ischemic stroke.
