Two coordination polymers have been synthesized from cpg/4,4＇-bipy/metal ions reaction system, [Zn（cpg）（4,4＇-bipy）0.5（H2O）]·H2O 1 and [Cd（cpg）（4,4＇-bipy）0.5（H2O）2]·H2O 2. X- ray analyses show that different coordination geometries of zinc and cadmium ions lead to similar ladder structures （tetra-for zinc ion and hexa- for cadmium ion）, in which all the flexible cpg molecules exist as single conformations of anti-form.

Proton therapy is the most advanced radiotherapy approach in the world,and causes less damage to normal human tissue than traditional *** the treatment process produces a high-energy proton beam,the personnel safety interlock system mainly considers measures to protect personnel from radiation hazards during beam preparation and the beam release *** other safety interlock systems,the personnel safety interlock system designed in this study focuses on the safety and stability of the system *** hardware and software of important interlock control loops are designed and developed according to the requirements of Safety Integrity Level 3 specified by IEC61508.A set of redundant ring networks was developed to ensure that damage to a certain network line does not affect the normal operation of the system.A set of friendly operation interfaces and data storage systems were developed to ensure that the operator can monitor the data in real time and trace the *** personnel safety interlock system mainly includes a beam enabling function,clearance function,and emergency stop *** system was put into actual use and successfully ensured personnel safety.

The textural properties and surface chemistry of phosphoric acid-modified biochars(PABCs)prepared at different pyrolysis temperatures(500-700℃)were studied based on the results obtained from XRD,SEM,BET,FT-IR,Raman,XPS and elements *** prepared at higher temperatures tended to possess a bigger proportion of microporous *** adsorption capacity and initial rate of PABCs for sulfadiazine(SDZ)were notably improved to 139.2 mg/g and 9.66 mg/(g min)as calculated from the Langmuir *** adsorption equilibrium time was only one quarter of that without *** H_(3)PO_(4) modification was advantageous to produce phosphate and break functional groups to form disordered carbon structure abundant of *** enhancement in the adsorption of SDZ was due to the confinement effect of hydrophobic cavities from the mircoporous structure and theπ-πelectron-donor-acceptor ***,PABCs exhibited stable adsorption capacities at a wide pH range(3.0-9.0)or relatively high concentrations of coexisting ions.

Solar-driven CO_(2)conversion to multicarbon(C_(2+))products has emerged as a key challenge,yet this calls for a systematic investigation on the overall reaction process and mechanism at an atomic level based on the rational design of highly selective ***,we report the synthesis of compact Bi_(2)S_(3)/Cds heterostructures via facile cation exchange,by which a unique pathway of CO_(2)-to-C_(2)H_(4) photoconversion is ***,the BCS-30 shows an optimal C_(2)H_(4) production rate of 3.49μmolh^(-1)g^(-1) based on the regulation of band structures and energy levels of photocatalysts by controlled growth of Bi_(2)S_(3) at CdS *** experimental and theoretical results(DFT calculations)identify Bi atoms as new catalytic sites for the adsorption of CO*and formation of*CO-*CO dimers that further hydrogenate to produce ***,this work demonstrates vast potentials of delicately designed heterostructures for CO_(2) conversion towards C_(2+)products under mild photocatalytic conditions.

Recently,numerous mechanically robust synthetic hydrogels have been ***,unlike natural loading-bearing materials such as cartilages and muscles,most hydrogels have inherently contradictory requirements,obstructing the design of hydrogels with characteristics of robustness and rapid ***,we present a facile strategy for constructing mechanically robust and rapidly self-recoverable *** linear poly(acrylamide-co-itaconic acid)chains crosslink via coordination bonds and minimal chemical crosslinkers to form the hydrogel *** design endows the coordination interactions to be asymmetrically *** deformation,the coordination interactions exhibit a reversible dissociation-and-reorganization property,demonstrating a new mechanism for energy dissipation and stress ***,the hydrogels possess tensile strength up to 12.5 MPa and toughness up to 28.2 MJ/***,the inherent dynamic nature of the coordination bonds imparts these hydrogels with stretch rate-and temperature-dependent mechanical behavior as well as excellent self-recovery *** method employed in this study is universal and is applicable to other polymers with load-bearing yet rapid recovery *** study will facilitate diverse applications of most metallosupramolecular hydrogels.

Super high molecular weight copolymers of AM/NaA/AMPS were prepared by oxidation–reduction[OR-P(AM/NaA/AMPS)]and controlled radical polymerization[CR-P(AM/NaA/AMPS)].The resulting copolymers were fully characterized,and the reaction conditions for their preparation were ***-P(AM/NaA/AMPS),CR-P(AM/NaA/AMPS),and conventional partially hydrolyzed polyacrylamide(HPAM)in brine solution were comprehensively characterized by thermogravimetric analysis,scanning electron microscopy,atomic force microscopy,and dynamic light ***(AM/NaA/AMPS)and CR-P(AM/NaA/AMPS)containing AMPS monomer showed better salt resistance,temperature tolerance,and viscosification property than the conventional HPAM polymer,making them more promising for enhanced oil *** comprehensive comparison and analysis,it was found that OR-P(AM/NaA/AMPS)was more conducive for high-temperature condition due to the existence of xanthone in OR-P(AM/NaA/AMPS).On the other hand,CR-P(AM/NaA/AMPS)was more suitable for high-mineral atmosphere,which could be attributed to its higher intrinsic viscosity.

Mg-1 wt.%li-1 wt.%Ca(LX11)and Mg-4 wt.%li-1 wt.%Ca(LX41)alloys share the same hexagonal closed-packed crystalline ***,the differences in microstructure,mechanical properties,and degradation rates between the two alloys are not well ***,the above three aspects of LX11 and LX41 alloys were studied via optical microscopy,tensile tests,and electrochemical polarization and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy,together with hydrogen *** concentration of the released Mg^(2+),Ca^(2+),and li+ions was analyzed using a flame atomic absorption *** demonstrated that the LX11 alloy was composed of finerα-Mg grains,fewer twins,and smaller volume fractions of the intermetallic phases Mg_(2)Ca than the LX41 *** increasing li concentration generated a weak decrease in the yield strength of the Mg-li-Ca alloys,a remarkable increase in elongation to failure,and a stable ultimate tensile *** LX11 alloy had better corrosion resistance than the LX41 *** release rate of the cations(Mg^(2+),Ca^(2+),and li+)varied significantly with *** release rate of metallic ions in Hank’s solution cannot reflect the true corrosion rate of Mg-li-Ca alloys due to the formation of the precipitated corrosion products and their difference in *** dealloying corrosion mechanism of the Mg_(2)Ca phase in Mg-li-Ca alloys was proposed.

This study was designed to define possible preoperative predictors of positive surgical margin after laparoscopic radical prostatectomy. We retrospectively analyzed the records of 296 patients with prostate cancer diagnosed by prostate biopsy, and eventually treated with laparoscopic radical prostatectomy. The prognostic impact of age, prostate volume, preoperative prostate-specific antigen, biopsy Gleason score, maximum percentage tumor per core, number of positive cores, biopsy perineurat invasion, capsule invasion on imaging, and tumor laterality on surgical margin was assessed. The overall positive surgical margin rate was 29.1%. Gleason score, number of positive cores, perineural invasion, tumor laterality in the biopsy specimen, and prostate volume significantly correlated with risk of positive surgical margin by univariate analysis （P 〈 0.05）. Gleason score （odds ratio [OR] = 2.286, 95% confidence interval [95% CI] = 1.431-3.653, P= 0.001）, perineural invasion （OR = 4.961, 95% CI = 2.656-9.270, P〈 0.001）, and number of positive cores （OR = 4.403, 95% CI = 1.878-10.325, P = 0.001） were independent predictors of positive surgical margin at the multivariable logistic regression analysis. Patients with perineural invasion, higher biopsy Gleason scores and/or a large number of positive cores in biopsy pathology had more possibility of capsule invasion. The positive surgical margin rate in patients with capsule invasion （49.5%） was much higher than that with localized disease （17.8%）. In contrast, prostate volume showed a protective effect against positive surgical margin （OR = 0.572, 95% CI = 0.346-0.945, P = 0.029）. Gleason score, perineural invasion, and number of positive cores in the biopsy specimen were preoperative independent predictors of positive surgical margin after laparoscopic radical prostatectomy while prostate volume was a protective factor against positive surgical margin.

During the coronavirus disease(COVID-19)epidemic,there have been concerns about the impact of vaccines on people’s fertility,including the fertility of those who are currently preparing for pregnancy and those who might become pregnant in ***,there is still a lack of research on the effect of the COVID-19 vaccine on male fertility,and it is not surprising that couples and donors have concerns regarding *** this study,a retrospective cohort study was conducted to examine semen quality before and after receipt of the inactivated COVID-19 *** were no statistically significant changes in semen parameters(volume,sperm concentration,progressive motility,and total progressive motile count)after two doses of vaccine(all P>0.05).In summary,our study updates the most recent studies on the effects of the COVID-19 vaccine on male fertility,and the information from this study could be used to guide fertility recommendations for assisted reproductive technology(ART)patients and donors.
