Helium ion irradiation at 350℃was performed to study equilibrium segregation and radiation-induced segregation(RIS)of Cr at grain boundaries in reduced activation ferritic/martensitic *** concentration at grain boundary was measured by scanning transmission electron microscopy with an energy-dispersive *** measured Cr concentration at grain boundaries in heat treated zone was 11.7 and 12.8 wt.%in irradiated zone,respectively,which matched well to the calculated results from Mclean and modified Perk *** segregation and RIS of Cr mechanisms were theoretically *** analysis indicates that as temperature rises,equilibrium Cr segregation decreases monotoni-cally,while RIS of Cr has a bell-shape profile,which increases first and then *** is also shown that at low and high temperatures,equilibrium segregation of Cr is higher than that of RIS;at intermediate temperatures,equilibrium Cr segregation is lower than RIS.

Influence of lactic acid bacteria, cellulase, cellulase-producing Bacillus pumilus and their combinations on alfalfa silage quality

This study assessed the effects of lactic acid bacteria(LAB), cellulase, cellulase-producing Bacillus pumilus and their combinations on the fermentation characteristics, chemical composition, bacterial community and in vitro digestibility of alfalfa silage. A completely randomized design involving a 8(silage additives)×3 or 2(silage days) factorial arrangement of treatments was adopted in the present study. The 8 silage additive treatments were: untreated alfalfa(control); two commercial additives(GFJ and Chikuso-1); an originally selected LAB(Lactobacillus plantarum a214) isolated from alfalfa silage; a cellulase-producing Bacillus(CB) isolated from fresh alfalfa; cellulase(C); and the combined additives(a214+C and a214+CB). Silage fermentation characteristics, chemical composition and microorganism populations were analysed after 30, 60 and 65 days(60 days followed by exposure to air for five additional days). In vitro digestibility was analysed for 30 and 60 days. Compared with the other treatments, selected LAB a214, a214 combined with either C or CB, and Chikuso-1 had the decreased(Pling process, and there were no differences(P>0.05) among them. Fiber degradation was not significant(P≥0.054) in any C or CB treatments. The a214 treatment showed the highest(P=0.009) in vitro digestibility of dry matter(595.0 g kg–1DM) after ensiling and the highest abundance of Lactobacillus(69.42 and 79.81%, respectively) on days 60 and 65, compared to all of other treatments. Overall, the silage quality of alfalfa was improved with the addition of a214, which indicates its potential as an alfalfa silage inoculant.

We study intensity disturbances above a solar polar coronal hole that can be seen in the AIA 171 and 193 ＆ passbands, aiming to provide more insights into their physical nature. The damping and power spectra of the intensity disturbances with frequencies from 0.07 mHz to 10.5 mHz are investigated. The damping of the intensity disturbances tends to be stronger at lower frequencies, and their damping behavior below 980＂（for comparison, the limb is at 945＂） is different from what happens above. No significant difference is found between the damping of the intensity disturbances in the AIA 171 ~ and that in the AIA 193 ]k. The indices of the power spectra of the intensity disturbances are found to be slightly smaller in the AIA 171/~ than in the AIA 193 ~, but the difference is within one standard deviation. An additional enhanced component is present in the power spectra in a period range of 8-40 min at lower heights. The power spectra of a spicule is highly correlated with its associated intensity disturbance, which suggests that the power spectra of the intensity disturbances might be a mixture of spicules and wave activities. We suggest that each intensity disturbance in the polar coronal hole is possibly a series of independent slow magnetoacoustic waves triggered by spicular activities.

Glucose transporter 4 (GLUT4) is responsible for insulin-stimulated glucose transporting into the insulin-sensitive fat and muscle cells. The dynamics of GLUT4 storage vesicles (GSVs) remains to be explored and it is unclear how GSVs are arranged based on their mobility. We examined this issue in 3T3-L1 cells via investigating the three-dimensional mobility of single GSV labeled with EGFP-fused GLUT4. A thin layer of cytosol right adjacent to the plasma membrane was illuminated and successively imaged at 5 Hz under a total internal reflection fluorescence microscope with a penetration depth of 136 nm. Employing single particle tracking, the three-dimensional subpixel displacement of single GSV was tracked at a spatial precision of 22 nm. Both the mean square displacement and the diffusion coefficient were calculated for each vesicle. Tracking results revealed that vesicles moved as if restricted within a cage that has a mean radius of 160 nm, suggesting the presence of some intracellular tethering matrix

The scattered stray light of a coronagraph is a type of stray light that is generated by the objective lens as its surface defects are irradiated by *** defects mainly include dust and blemishes on the lens surface,microroughness of the lens surface,and impurity and inhomogeneity of the *** the other types of relatively stable defects introduced when the objective lens is being manufactured,the scattered stray light caused by dusts on the lens surface is difficult to quantify accurately due to the disorder and randomness of the dust *** contribution of this type of stray light to the overall stray light level is difficult to determine through simulations and *** can result in continuous deterioration of the stray light level of a coronagraph and thus affect the observation capabilities of the *** solve this issue,through analyzing the forming mechanism of scattered stray light and ghost image generated by the inner-occulted coronagraph,we propose a novel method to monitor the scattered stray light from dusts by utilizing different stray light correlation *** this method,we first simulate and measure the level of stray light from the ghost image of the objective lens,and then determine the flux ratio of scattered light and ghost image on the conjugate *** the flux ratio varies with the accumulation of dusts on the lens surface,it remains constant on the image ***,the level of dust scattering light on the image plane can be obtained by using this ratio together with the level of ghost image stray *** accuracy of this method has been validated in a laboratory by applying the objective lens with numerous surface cleanliness levels.

Objective： In most cotintries, nearly 6% of the adults are suffering from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease （COPD）. which puts a huge economic burden on the society. Moreover, COPD has been considered as an independent risk factor for pulmonary embolism （PE）. In this review, we summarized the existing evidence that demonstrates the associations between COPD exacerbation and PE from various aspects, including epidemiology, pathophysiological changes, risk factors, clinical features, management, and prognosis. Data Sources： We searched the terms ＂chronic obstructive pulmonary disease,＂＂＇pulmonary embolism,＂＂exacerbations,＂ and ＂＇thromboembolic＂ in PubMed database and collected the results up to April 2018. The language was limited to English. Study Selection： We thoroughly examined the titles and abstracts of all studies that met our search strategy. The data from prospective studies, meta-analyses, retrospective studies, and recent reviews were selected for preparing this review. Results： The prevalence of PE in patients with COPD exacerbation varied a lot among different studies, mainly due to the variations in race, sample size, study design, research setting, and enrollment criteria. Overall, whites and African Americans showed significantly higher prevalence of PE than Asian people, and the hospitalized patients showed higher prevalence of PE compared to those who were evaluated in emergency department. PE is easily overlooked in patients with COPD exacerbation due to the similar clinical symptoms. However, several factors have been identified to contribute to the increased risk of PE during COPD exacerbation. Obesity and lower limb asymmetry were described as independent predictors for PE. Moreover, due to the high risk of PE, thromboprophylaxis has been used as an important treatment for hospitalized patients with COPD exacerbation.
