Physiological Response Mechanism and Drought Resistance Evaluation of Passiflora edulis Sims under Drought Stress

In order to explore the response mechanism of Passiﬂora edulis Sims to drought stress,the changes in morpho-logical and physiological traits of Passiﬂora edulis Sims under different drought conditions were studied.A total of 7 germplasm resources of Passiﬂora edulis Sims were selected and tested under drought stress by the pot culture method under 4 treatment levels:75%–80%(Control,CK)of maximumﬁeld water capacity,55%–60%(light Drought,LD)of maximumﬁeld water capacity,i.e.,mild drought,40%–45%(Moderate Drought,MD)of max-imumﬁeld water capacity,i.e.,moderate drought and 30%–35%(Severe Drought,SD)of maximumﬁeld water capacity,i.e.,severe *** the 40th day of drought treatment,1. indices,including seedling growth mor-phology,physiology,and biochemistry,were *** results showed that under drought stress,the height and ground diameter of *** Sims gradually decreased with increasing drought stress,and there were signiﬁ-cant differences in seedling height and ground diameter among the *** stress signiﬁcantly inhib-ited the growth of seven *** Sims *** contents of soluble sugar(SS),soluble protein(SP),proline(Pro),and other substances in *** Sims basically increased with increasing drought *** the aggrava-tion of drought stress,the malondialdehyde(MDA)content of *** Sims tended to increase to different degrees,the superoxide dismutase(SOD)activity and peroxidase(POD)activity both tended to increase atﬁrst and then decrease,and the change in catalase(CAT)activity mostly showed a gradual increasing *** con-tents of endogenous hormones in *** Sims signiﬁcantly differed under different degrees of drought *** the aggravation of drought stress,the abscisic acid(ABA)content of *** Sims tended to increase,whereas the contents of gibberellin(GA),indoleacetic acid(IAA),and zeatin nucleoside(ZR)exhibited a down-ward trend.A comprehensive evaluation of the drought resistance of seven *** Sim

Compactness theorems of fuzzy semantics

The relationship among diverse fuzzy semantics vs. the corresponding logic consequence operators has been analyzed systematically The results that compactness and logical compactness of fuzzy semantics are equivalent to compactness and continuity of the logic consequence operator induced by the semantics respectively have been proved under certain conditions. A general compactness theorem of fuzzy semantics have been established which says that every fuzzy semantics defined on a free algebra with members corresponding to continuous functions is compact.

Implicational lattices and generalization of Stone's representation theorem

Let F(S) be the free algebra of type (,∨,→) generated by the non_empty set S, it is proved that the logical equivalent relation defined by means of R 0_semantics is a congruence relation on F(S) and the corresponding quotient algebra is said to be the R 0_semantic lindenbaum algebra. Taking R 0_semantic lindenbaum algebra as a prototype, the concepts of implicational lattices and regular implicational lattices which are generalizations of the concept of Boolean algebras are introduced. Besides, the concept of fuzzy implicational spaces is introduced and the representation theorem of regular implicational lattices is obtained by means of fuzzy implicational spaces. In case of Boolean algebras, the corresponding fuzzy implicational spaces are zero_dimensional compact Hausdorff spaces and herefrom it is proved that the famous Stone’s representation theorem of Boolean algebras is a corollary of the representation theorem of regular implicational lattices.

Lattice-valued modal propositional logic and its completeness

Based on the concept of the complete lattice satisfying the first and second infinite distributive laws, the present paper introduces the semantics of the lattice-valued modal propositional logic. It is pointed out that this semantics generalizes the semantics of both classical modal propositional logic and [0,1.-valued modal propositional logic. The definition of the QMR0-algebra is proposed, and both the Boole-typed latticevalued modal propositional logic system B and the QMR0-typed lattice-valued modal propositional logic system QML* are constructed by use of Boole-algebras and QMR0-algebras, respectively. The main results of the paper are the completeness theorems of both the system B and QML*.

A reliable geological model plays a fundamental role in the efficiency and safety of mountain tunnel ***,regional models based on limited survey data represent macroscopic geological environments but not detailed internal geological characteristics,especially at tunnel portals with complex geological *** paper presents a comprehensive methodological framework for refined modeling of the tunnel surrounding rock and subsequent mechanics analysis,with a particular focus on natural space distortion of hard-soft rock interfaces at tunnel *** progressive prediction of geological structures is developed considering multi-source data derived from the tunnel survey and excavation *** improve the accuracy of the models,a novel modeling method is proposed to integrate multi-source and multi-scale data based on data extraction and potential field ***,a regional-scale model and an engineering-scale model are built,providing a clear insight into geological phenomena and supporting numerical *** addition,the proposed framework is applied to a case study,the Long-tou mountain tunnel project in Guangzhou,china,where the dominant rock type is *** results show that the data integration and modeling methods effectively improve model structure *** improved model’s calculation deviation is reduced by about 1.%to 20%in the mechanical *** study contributes to revealing the complex geological environment with singular interfaces and promoting the safety and performance of mountain tunneling.

Maximal contractions in Boolean algebras

In the present paper,the concepts of deductive element and maximal contraction are introduced in Boolean algebras,and corresponding theories of consistency and maximal contractions are *** algorithm principle is proposed to compute all maximal contractions for a consistent set with respect to its refutation in Boolean *** is pointed out that the quotient algebra of the first-order language with respect to its provable equivalence relation constitutes a Boolean algebra,and hence the computation of R-contractions for closed formulas in first-order languages can be converted into the one in Boolean algebras proposed in this ***,the concept of basic element is introduced in Boolean algebras,which contributes to the definitions of clause and Horn clause transplanted from logic to a special type of Boolean algebras generated by basic *** is also pointed out that the computation of R-contractions for clauses in the classical propositional logic can be converted into the one in Boolean algebras generated by basic elements proposed in this paper.

By means of infinite product of uniformly distributed probability spaces of cardinal n the concept of truth degrees of propositions in the n-valued generalized Lu- kasiewicz propositional logic system Ln^＊ is introduced in the present paper. It is proved that the set consisting of truth degrees of all formulas is dense in [0,1., and a general expres- sion of truth degrees of formulas as well as a deduction rule of truth degrees is then obtained. Moreover, similarity degrees among formulas are proposed and a pseudo-metric is defined therefrom on the set of formulas, and hence a possible framework suitable for developing approximate reasoning theory in n-valued generalized Lukasiewicz propositional logic is established.

The coastal wetlands of the Yellow River Delta(YRD)in china are crucial for their valuable resources,environmental significance,and economic ***,these wetlands are also vulnerable to the dual threats of c{1.mate change and human *** substantial attention to the historical shifts in YRD's coastal wetlands,uncertainties remain regarding their future trajectory in the face of compound risks from c{1.mate change and anthropogenic *** on a range of remote sensing data sources,this study undertakes a comprehensive investigation into the evolution of YRD's coastal wetlands between 2000 and ***,the potential fate of coastal wetlands is thoroughly analyzed through the Land Use/Cover Change(LUCC)simulation using System Dynamic-Future Land Use Simulation(SD-FLUS)model and the extreme water levels projection integrated future sea-level rise,storm surge,and astronomical high tide in 2030,2050,and 21.0 under scenarios of SSP1.2.6,SSP2-4.5,and *** revealed that YRD's coastal wetlands underwent a marked reduction,shrinking by 1.88.72 km²from 2000 to *** dec{1.ne was mostly attributed to the substantial expansion in the areas of artificial wetlands(increasing by 823.78 km2),construction land(increasing by 767.71.km²),and shallow water(increasing by 274.58 km²).Looking ahead to 2030-21.0,the fate of coastal wetlands appears to diverge based on different *** the SSP1.2.6 scenario,the area of coastal wetland is projected to experience considerable *** contrast,the SSP5-8.5 scenario anticipates a notable decrease in coastal *** to the inundated area suffered from the current extreme water levels,the study projects a decrease of 6.8%-1..6%in submerged coastal wetlands by 2030 and 9.4%-1..2%by 2050 across all *** 21.0,these percentages are projected to decrease by 0.4%(SSP2-4.5)and 27.1.(SSP5-8.5),but increase by 35.7%(SSP1.2.6).Results suggest that coastal wetlands in th
