Inspired by the function of crucial components in photosystemⅡ(PSⅡ),electrochemical and dyesensitized photoelectrochemical(DSPEC)water oxidation devices were constructed by the selfassembly of well-designed amphipathic Ru(bda)-based catalysts(bda=2,2'-bipyrdine-6,6'-dicarbonoxyl acid)and aliphatic chain decorated electrode surfaces,forming lipid bilayer membrane(LBm)-like *** Ru(bda)catalysts on electrode-supported LBm films demonstrated remarkable water oxidation performance with different O-O formation ***,compared to the slow charge transfer process,the O-O formation pathways did not determine the PEC water oxidation efficiency of the dyesensitized photoanodes,and the different reaction rates for similar catalysts with different catalytic paths did not determine the PEC performance of the ***,charge transfer plays a decisive role in the PEC water oxidation *** an indolo[3,2-b]carbazole derivative was introduced between the Ru(bda)catalysts and aliphatic chain-modified photosensitizer in LBm films,serving as a charge transfer mediator for the tyrosine-histidine pair in PSⅡ,the PEC water oxidation performance of the corresponding photoanodes was dramatically enhanced.

Elaidic acid(EA)stimulation can lead to endoplasmic reticulum stress(ERS),accompanied by a large release of Ca^(2+),and ultimately the activation of NLRP3 inflammasome in Kupffer cells(KCs).mitochondrial instability or dysfunction may be the key stimulating factors to activate NLRP3 inflammasome,and sustained Ca^(2+)transfer can result in mitochondrial *** focused on KCs to explore the damage to mitochondria by *** EA stimulation,cells produced an oxidative stress(OS)response with a significant increase in ROS *** experiments and the addition of inhibitors revealed that the increase in the level of intracellular Ca^(2+)led to Ca^(2+)accumulation in the mitochondrial matrix via mitochondria-associated membranes(mAms).This was accompanied by a significant release of m ROS,loss of mmP and ATP,and a significant increase in mitochondrial permeability transition pore opening,ultimately leading to mitochondrial *** findings confirmed the mechanism that EA induced mitochondrial Ca^(2+)imbalance in KCs via mAm,ultimately leading to mitochondrial ***,EA induced OS and the decrease of mmP and ATP in rat liver,and significant lesions were found in liver *** of the inner mitochondrial cristae and mitochondrial vacuolization occurred,with a marked increase in lipid droplets.

The Grain for Green Program and soil and water conservation engineering initiatives are crucial for controlling erosion in steep-slope ***,it is still unclear how these two management methods should be carried out in respect to the situation in mountainous ***,taking a typical mountainous area in southwest China as an example,we simulated six scenarios in order to compare the food provisioning service(FPS)and soil conservation service of the Grain for Green Program(converting to grassland)and Construction measures(converting to sloping terrace)under different *** showed that when farmland with a>25°slope was converted into grassland,the amount of soil erosion(m)decreased by 21.0%,while FPS decreased by only 0.7%.However,when farmland with a>25°slope was converted into sloping terrace,m decreased by 31.3%while FPS increased by 18.7%.With the increases of farmland slope ranges in the Construction measures scenario,m gradually decreased and FPS gradually *** when farmland>15°was converted into sloping terrace,m decreased by 63.9%and FPS increased by 52.7%.Furthermore,the trade-offs of Construction measures are lower than that of Grain for Green on different slope ***,we conclude that Construction measures are a more suitable method in mountainous areas than the Grain for Green,and we suggest that further research be conducted to consider the ecological risks of construction engineering measures.

Recently,a new research trend in our video salient object detection(VSOD)research community has focused on enhancing the detection results via model self-fine-tuning using sparsely.m.ned high-quality keyframes from the given *** such a learning scheme is generally effective,it has a critical limitation,i.e.,the model learned on sparse frames only possesses weak generalization *** situation could become worse on“long”videos since they tend to have intensive scene ***,in such videos,the keyframe information from a longer time span is less relevant to the previous,which could also cause learning conflict and deteriorate the model ***,the learning scheme is usually incapable of handling complex pattern *** solve this problem,we propose a divide-and-conquer framework,which can convert a complex problem domain into multiple simple ***,we devise a novel background consistency analysis(BCA)which effectively divides the mined frames into disjoint *** for each group,we assign an individual deep model on it to capture its key attribute during the fine-tuning *** the testing phase,we design a model-matching strategy,which could dynamically select the best-matched model from those fine-tuned ones to handle the given testing *** experiments show that our method can adapt severe background appearance variation coupling with object movement and obtain robust saliency detection compared with the previous scheme and the state-of-the-art methods.

This study investigated how the Taihang mountains and the yanshan mountains affect low-level jets(LLJs)in the Beijing area,based on conventional radiosonde observations from Nanjiao Observatory(2016–2017)and high-resolution Weather Research and Forecasting–Advanced Research WRF(WRF-ARW)model *** of radiosonde observations indicated that LLJs in the study area are mainly from the southwest and northwest directions,with occurrence frequency of 44.6%and 33.0%,***(northwest)LLJs are aligned parallel(perpendicular)to the orientation of the Taihang mountain *** sensitivity experiments using the WRF-ARW model were then conducted to examine the effects of terrain forcing on the northwest and southwest LLJs,with adopted terrain heights of 100%and 50%.The results showed that for northwest LLJs,reduction in the elevation of the Taihang mountain Range led to weakening of jet intensity by approximately 20%and reduction in jet maximum height by approximately 250 m;lowering the yanshan mountain Range had minor influence on the northwest LLJs,with only a 5.2%reduction in intensity and no substantial change in jet maximum *** southwest LLJs,reduction in the elevation of both the Taihang and yanshan mountain ranges resulted in minor changes in the intensity and height of the *** analysis revealed that the topography in the Beijing area could modulate the height and intensity of the stable layer by altering the inversion structure within the boundary *** LLJs can develop rapidly within the stable layer,and both the location and the scale of the jet core exhibited reasonable agreement with the extent of the stable layer.

In order to improve rib stability,failure criteria and instability.m.de of a thick coal seam with inter-band rock layer are analysed in this study.A three-dimensional mechanical model is established for the rib by considering the rock layer.A safety factor is defined foy the rib,and it is observed that the safety factor exhibits a positive correlation with the thickness and strength of the inter-band rock.A calculation method for determining critical parameters of the rock layer is presented to ensure the rib *** is revealed that incomplete propagation of the fracture at the hard rock constitutes a fundamental prerequisite for ensuring the rib *** influence of the position of the inter-band rock in the coal seam on failure mechanism of the rib was thoroughly investigated by developing a series of physical models for the rib at the face *** best position for the inter-band rock in the coal seam is at a height of 1.5 m away from the roof line,which tends to provide a good stability state for the *** different inter-band rock positions,two ways of controlling rib by increasing supports stiffness and flexible grouting reinforcement are proposed.

The success of deep transfer learning in fault diagnosis is attributed to the collection of high-quality labeled data from the source ***,in engineering scenarios,achieving such high-quality label annotation is difficult and *** incorrect label annotation produces two negative effects:1)the complex decision boundary of diagnosis models lowers the generalization performance on the target domain,and2)the distribution of target domain samples becomes misaligned with the false-labeled *** overcome these negative effects,this article proposes a solution called the label recovery and trajectory designable network(LRTDN).LRTDN consists of three ***,a residual network with dual classifiers is to learn features from cross-domain ***,an annotation check module is constructed to generate a label anomaly indicator that could modify the abnormal labels of false-labeled samples in the source *** the training of relabeled samples,the complexity of diagnosis model is reduced via semi-supervised ***,the adaptation trajectories are designed for sample distributions across *** ensures that the target domain samples are only adapted with the pure-labeled *** LRTDN is verified by two case studies,in which the diagnosis knowledge of bearings is transferred across different working conditions as well as different yet related *** results show that LRTDN offers a high diagnosis accuracy even in the presence of incorrect annotation.

Faraday isolators can prevent the front-end system from disturbance and damage caused by a back-reflected beam,so they are important elements in laser *** magneto-optical materials are the most important component in Faraday isolators,the studies on magneto-optical materials have attracted much attention these ***_(3)Al_(5)O_(12)(TAG)ceramics are considered to be one of the most promising magneto-optical materials for visible to near-infrared wavelength band application because of their outstanding comprehensive magneto-optical ***,the optical quality of TAG ceramics needs further optimization to meet the application *** this work,high optical quality(Tb_(1−x)y_(x))_(3)Al_(5)O_(12)(x=0,0.05,0.1,0.2,and 0.3)magneto-optical ceramics were fabricated successfully by solid-state reaction sintering combined with hot isostatic pressing(HIP)*** the ceramics obtained showed a single garnet phase for different values of x in the range *** addition of y_(2)O_(3) was found to suppress the secondary phase and improve optical quality *** ceramic samples obtained had clear grain boundaries and possessed the in-line transmittance values of 82.9%at 1064 nm and 82.2%at 633 nm,*** Verdet constants of(Tb_(1−x)y_(x))_(3)Al_(5)O_(12)ceramics with x=0,0.05,0.1,0.2,and 0.3 were−188.1,−175.4,−168.5,−143.0,and−119.9 rad/(T·m),*** thermal conductivity of TAG ceramics was found to be 5.23 W/(m·K)at 25℃,and when 20%y was substituted in place of Tb,the thermal conductivity decreased by only 9.4%.

Bioprosthetic heart valve(BHV)replacement has been the predo-minant treatment for severe heart valve diseases over *** clinically available BHVs are crosslinked by glutaraldehyde(GLUT),while the high toxicity of residual GLUT could initiate calcification,severe thrombosis,and delayed ***,we construed a mechanically integrating robust hydrogel-tissue hybrid to improve the performance of *** particular,recombinant humanized coilagen type Ⅲ(rhCOLⅢ),which was precisely customized with anti-coagulant and pro-endothelialization bioactivity,was first incorporated into the polyvinyl alcohol(PVA)-based hydrogel via hydrogen bond ***,tannic acid was introduced to enhance the mechanicalperfo of PVA-based hvdrogel and interfacial bonding between the hydrogel layer and bio-derived tissue due to the strong affinity for a wide range of *** vitro and in vivo experimental results confirmed that the GLUT-crosslinked BHVs modified by the robust PVA-based hydrogel embedded rhCOliI and TA possessed long-term anti-coagulant,accelerated endothelialization,mild inflammatory response and anti-calcification ***,our mechanically integrating robust hydrogel-tissue hybrid strategy showed the potential to enhance the service function and prolong the service life of the BHVs after implantation.
