A new method of primary aluminum extraction from alumina was proposed. The method is based on the new reaction AlI3＋（3/2）Zn=Al＋（3/2）ZnI2. In its turn, the exchange reaction AlCl3＋CaI2→AlI3＋CaCl2 is used to get aluminum iodide from aluminum chloride—the product of alumina carbochlorination. These reactions were studied in laboratory experiments as well as additional reactions, which were needed for the main chemicals recycling： Cl2, ZnI2→Zn, CaCl2→CaI2. XRD and SEM methods were used to investigate the phases and morphology of the reaction＇s solid products. The global free energy minimization method was used for the chemical equation＇s calculations. It was shown that aluminum can be effectively extracted from alumina without electrolysis, extreme high temperature and expended chemicals. The estimated specific carbon consumption and CO2 atmospheric pollution rate have to be halves of such values for the contemporary aluminum plant powered by the coal power station.

Acid-catalytic 1,3-butadiene condensation with para-quinones followed by the obtained product oxidation may be performed in one stage as one-pot process, if assisted by the aqueous solutions of Mo-V-P heteropoly acids with a composition of HaPzMoyVxOb. 1,4-naphthoquinone (NQ) condensation with 1,3-butadiene in HPA solutions (brutto-composition H15P4Mo18V7O89 and H17P3Mo16V10O89) in the presence of hydrophylic organic solvents (acetone, 1,4-dioxane) provides 70% yield of 9,10-anthraquinone (AQ) containing no less than 90% AQ. In the same conditions reaction NQ with substituted 1,3-butadienes in the presence of the aqueous H17P3Mo16V10O89 (HPA-10) solution allows to prepare substituted AQ with yield up to 90% and purity up to 99%. The catalysts are regenerated by oxygen in separate stage and are reused.

Acid-catalytic 1,3-butadiene condensation with para-quinones followed by the obtained product oxidation may be performed in one stage as one-pot process, if assisted by the aqueous solutions of Mo-V-P heteropoly acids with a composition of HaPzMoyVxOb. 1,4-naphthoquinone condensation with 1,3-butadiene in the HPA solutions with no organic solvents yields 9,10-anthraquinone (AQ) mixed with tetrahydro-AQ (THA) and dihydro-AQ (DHA). However, AQ yield and its purity may be considerably improved by using water-mixable organic solvents, e.g., acetone, 1,4-dioxane, as well as high vanadium content HPA such as H15P4Mo18V7O89 and H17P3Mo16V10O89. Process optimization provides 70% yield of reaction product containing no less than 90% AQ.

BACKGROUND Palliative endoscopic biliary drainage is the primary treatment option for the management of patients with jaundice which results from distal malignant biliary obstruction(DMBO).In this group of patients,decompression of the bile duct(BD)allows for pain reduction,symptom relief,chemotherapy administration,improved quality of life,and increased survival *** reduce the unfavorable effects of BD decompression,minimally invasive surgical techniques require continuous *** To develop a technique for internal-external biliary-jejunal drainage(IEBJD)and assess its effectiveness in comparison to other minimally invasive procedures in the palliative treatment of patients with *** A retrospective analysis of prospectively collected data was performed,which included 134 patients with DMBO who underwent palliative BD ***-jejunal drainage was developed to divert bile from the BD directly into the initial loops of the small intestine to prevent duodeno-biliary *** was carried out using percutaneous transhepatic *** transhepatic biliary drainage(PTBD),endoscopic retrograde biliary stenting(ERBS),and internal-external transpapillary biliary drainage (IETBD) were used for the treatment of studypatients. Endpoints of the study were the clinical success of the procedure, the frequency andnature of complications, and the cumulative survival *** were no significant differences in the frequency of minor complications between the studygroups. Significant complications occurred in 5 (17.2%) patients in the IEBJD group, in 16 (64.0%)in the ERBS group, in 9 (47.4%) in the IETBD group, and in 12 (17.4%) in the PTBD *** was the most common severe complication. Earth＇s variable rotation is mainly produced by the variability of the AAM（atmospheric angular momentum）. In particular, the axial AAM component X_3, which undergoes especially strong variations,induces changes in the Earth＇s rotation rate. In this study we analysed maps of regional input into the effective axial AAM from 1948 through 2011 from NCEP/NCAR reanalysis. Global zonal circulation patterns related to the LOD（length of day） were described. We applied MSSA（Multichannel Singular Spectrum Analysis） jointly to the mass and motion components of AAM, which allowed us to extract annual, semiannual, 4-mo nth, quasi-biennial, 5-year, and low-frequency oscillations. PCs（Principal components） strongly related to ENSO（El Nino southern oscillation） were released. They can be used to study ENSO-induced changes in pressure and wind fields and their coupling to LOD. The PCs describing the trends have captured slow atmospheric circulation changes possibly related to climate variability.
