t.is st.dy report. on t.e low t.mperat.re t.lerance and cold hardiness of larvae of false codling mot., t.aumat.t.bia leucot.et.. We found t.at.larvae have mean crit.cal t.ermal minima （lower limit. of act.vit.） of 6.7℃ which was influenced by feeding st.t.s. t.e effect. of low t.mperat.re exposure and durat.on of exposure on larval survival were assessed and showed t.at.t.e t.mperat.re at.which 50% of t.e populat.on survives is -11.5 ± 0.3℃ aft.r 2 h exposure. t.e supercooling point.（SCP, i.e., freezing t.mperat.re） was invest.gat.d using a range of cooling rat.s and under different.condit.ons （feeding and hydrat.on st.t.s） and using inoculat.ve freezing t.eat.ent. （in cont.ct.wit. wat.r or orange juice）. t.e SCP decreased significant.y from -15.6℃ t. -17.4℃ aft.r larvae were fast.d for 24 h. t.ent.-four hour t.eat.ent. at.eit.er high or low relat.ve humidit. （95.9% or 2.4%） also significant.y decreased SCP t. -17.2℃ and -18.2℃ respect.vely. Inoculat.ve freezing （by wat.r cont.ct. raised SCP from -15.6℃ t. -6.8℃ which could have import.nt.implicat.ons for post.harvest.st.rilizat.on. Cooling rat.s did not.affect.SCP which suggest. t.at.t.ere is limit.d phenot.pic plast.cit. of SCP during t.e larval life-st.ge, at.least.over t.e short.t.me-scales invest.gat.d here. In conclusion, larvae of t. leucot.et. are chill-suscept.ble and die upon freezing. t.ese result. are import.nt.in underst.nding t.is pest.s response t. t.mperat.re variat.on, underst.nding pest.risk st.t.s and improving post.harvest.st.rilizat.on efficacy

Measures of self-report.d medicat.on adherence(Morisky Medicat.on Adherence Scale), beliefs surrounding medicat.ons(Beliefs about.Medicines Quest.onnaire), percept.ons of illness and medicines(Brief Illness Percept.on Quest.onnaire), and qualit. of life(Chronic Liver Disease Quest.onnaire) were examined. Clinical dat. were obt.ined via pat.ent.hist.ry and review of medical records. Least.absolut. shrinkage and select.on operat.r and st.pwise backwards regression t.chniques were used t. const.uct.t.e mult.variable logist.c regression model. St.t.st.cal significance was set.at.alpha = *** Medicat.on adherence was " High " in 42 % o f part.cipant., "Medium" in 37%, and "Low" in 21%. Compared t. pat.ent. wit. "High" adherence, t.ose wit. "Medium" or "Low" adherence were more likely t. report.difficult. affording t.eir medicat.ons(P t.on of t.eat.ent.helpfulness(P = 0.003) and st.onger medicat.on concerns relat.ve t. medicat.on necessit. beliefs(P = 0.003). People wit. "Low" adherence also experienced great.r sympt.m burden and poorer qualit. of life, including more frequent.abdominal pain(P = 0.023), short.ess of breat.(P = 0.030), and emot.onal dist.rbances(P = 0.050). We present.high-t.roughput.screening （Ht.） dat. for 3 762 dist.nct.global gene knockout.（KO） mouse lines wit. viable adult.homozygous mice generat.d using eit.er gene-t.ap or homologous recombinat.on t.chnologies. Bone mass was det.rmined from DEXA scans of male and female mice at.14 weeks of age and by microCt.analyses of bones from male mice at.16 weeks of age. Wild-t.pe （Wt. cagemat.s/lit.ermat.s were examined for each gene KO. Let.alit. was observed in an addit.onal 850 KO lines. Biomarkers and Depressive Sympt.ms in a Sample of Cognit.vely Int.ct.and Alzheimer’s Disease Elderly Males

Serum-based biomarkers and GDS-30 score and subscales of depressive sympt.ms were examined in a cross-sect.onal sample of 81 elderly men drawn from t.e t.RCC cohort. Measurement. included neuropsychological assessment.and serum. t.irt. t.ree pat.ent. met.consensus diagnosis for probable AD and fort. eight.were cognit.vely int.ct. Alt.ough init.al regression analysis of all subject. showed significant.relat.onships bet.een depression and specific biomarkers, analyses based on diagnosis indicat.d t.at.none of t.e biomarkers were significant.y associat.d wit. depression among t.e cont.ols. Among AD males MIF was significant.y associat.d wit. t.t.l GDS scores and subscales of dysphoria, meaninglessness, and cognit.ve impairment. t.F-α was significant.y associat.d wit. t.e apat.y in AD males. Higher levels of MIF were associat.d wit. less depression in AD men. t.F-α was posit.vely associat.d wit. degree of apat.y. t.is st.dy suggest. t.e import.nce of cognit.ve st.t.s, gender and subt.pes of depression when invest.gat.ng biomarkers and depression in t.e elderly.
