In situ meso-tetra(4-carboxyphenyl)porphyrin ligand substitution in Hf-MOF for enhanced catalytic activity and stability in photoredox reactions

Though there are numerous intrinsic merits of metal-organic frameworks(MOFs),low charge separation efficiency has imposed heavy restrictions on their photocatalytic ***,in situ porphyrin ligand substitution,as a strategy for improving the charge separation efficiency and increasing the amounts of active sites,has been designed and realized in a Hf-biphenyl dicarboxylic acid(BPDC)***,a size and geometry matched meso-tetra(4-carboxyphenyl)porphyrin(TCPP)ligand was selected and doped into Hf-BPDC MOF by forming coordinating bonds with Hf centers,forming dualligand Hf-BPDC-TCPP *** resultant Hf-BPDC-TCPP MOF showed significantly improved activity and chemical stability in the photocatalytic H_(2)generation(261μmol·g^(-1)·h^(-1))and tetracycline(TC)degradation reactions(95.8%),which was 48 and 1.47 folds higher than that of the Hf-BPDC *** and electrochemical studies revealed that the introduction of porphyrin ligand could generate a stronger internal electric field for boosting the charge separation and transfer,increase the specific surface area for providing more active sites,and narrow the band gap to enhance the visible light *** in situ ligand substitution method provides a promising approach to build a tunable platform for constructing high-performance MOF photocatalysts.

The reasonable employment of cocatalyst in photocatalysis can effectively promote the photocatalytic H_(2)production *** this study,carbon hollow spheres(C),as a good conductive nonmetallic material,have been utilized as a novel cocatalyst and a matrix for loading the Cu-doped-TiO_(2)nanoparticles by a successive hydrother-mal method and metal molten salt *** Cu-doped-TiO_(2)nanoparticles were tightly anchored on the surface of carbon hollow sphere to form a zero-dimensional/three dimensional(0D/3D)Cu-doped-TiO2/C *** optimal Cu-doped-TiO_(2)/C heterojunction demon-strated greatly enhanced photocatalytic H_(2) generation activity(14.4 mmol·g^(-1)·h^(-1))compared with TiO_(2)(0.33 mmol·g^(-1)·h^(-1))and TiO_(2)/C(0.7 mmol·g^(-1)·h^(-1)).The performance improvement was mainly due to the syner-gistic effect of carbon hollow sphere cocatalyst and Cu-doping,the Cu-doping in TiO_(2)nanoparticles can minimize charge recombination and enhance the available photoex-cited electrons,while the 3D carbon hollow spheres can act as electron traps to accelerate the charge separation and offer abundant active sites for solar water splitting reaction.

Unconventional chemical graphitization and functionalization of graphene oxide toward nanocomposites by degradation of ZnSe[DETA]0.5 hybrid nanobelts

The high surface energy of nanomaterials endows them a metastable nature,which greatly limits their ***,in some cases,the degradation process derived from the poor stability of nanomaterials offers an unconventional approach to design and obtain functional ***,based on the poor stability of ZnSe-[DETA]0.5 hybrid nanobelts,we developed a new strategy to chemically graphitize and functionalize graphene oxide(GO).When ZnSe[DETA]0.5 hybrid nanobelts encountered a strong acid,they were attacked by H^+cations and could release highly reactive Se^2−anions into the reaction *** other common reductants(such as N2H4·H2O),these Se^2−anions exhibited an excellent ability to restore the structure of *** structural restoration of GO was greatly affected by the reaction time,the volume of HCl,and the mass ratio between GO and ZnSe[DETA]0.5 *** carefully controlling the reaction process and the post-processing process,we finally obtained several Se-based reduced GO(RGO)nanocomposites(such as ZnSe/Se-RGO,ZnSe-RGO,and Se-RGO)and various selenide/metal-RGO nanocomposites(such as Ag2Se-RGO,Cu2Se-RGO,and Pt-RGO).Although the original structure and composition of ZnSe[DETA]0.5 nanobelts are destroyed,the procedure presents an unconventional way to chemically graphitize and functionalize GO and thus provides a new material synthesis platform for nanocomposites.

Adaptive fault-tolerant control for non-minimum phase hypersonic vehicles based on adaptive dynamic programming

In this paper,a novel adaptive Fault-Tolerant Control(FTC)strategy is proposed for non-minimum phase Hypersonic Vehicles(HSVs)that are affected by actuator faults and parameter *** strategy is based on the output redefinition method and Adaptive Dynamic Programming(ADP).The intelligent FTC scheme consists of two main parts:a basic fault-tolerant and stable controller and an ADP-based supplementary *** the basic FTC part,an output redefinition approach is designed to make zero-dynamics stable with respect to the new ***,Ideal Internal Dynamic(IID)is obtained using an optimal bounded inversion approach,and a tracking controller is designed for the new output to realize output tracking of the nonminimum phase HSV *** the ADP-based compensation control part,an ActionDependent Heuristic Dynamic Programming(ADHDP)adopting an actor-critic learning structure is utilized to further optimize the tracking performance of the HSV control ***,simulation results are provided to verify the effectiveness and efficiency of the proposed FTC algorithm.

The radiation response of androgen-refractory prostate cancer cell line C4-2 derived from androgen-sensitive cell line LNCaP

Radiation therapy is a relatively effective therapeutic method for localized prostate cancer （PCa） patients. However, radioresistance occurs in nearly 30% of patients treated with potentially curative doses. Therapeutic synergy between radiotherapy and androgen ablation treatment provides a promising strategy for improving the clinical outcome. Accordingly, the androgen deprivation-induced signaling pathway may also mediate radiosensitivity in PCa cells. The C4-2 cell line was derived from the androgen-sensitive LNCaP parent line under androgen-depleted condition and had acquired androgen-refractory characteristics. In our study, the response to radiation was evaluated in both LNCaP and C4-2. Results showed that C4-2 cells were more likely to survive from irradiation and appeared more aggressive in their resistance to radiation treatment compared with LNCaP, as measured by clonogenic assays and cell viability and cell cycle analyses. Gene expression analyses revealed that a set of genes involved in cell cycle arrest and DNA repair were differentially regulated in LNCaP and C4-2 in response to radiation, which was also consistent with the radiation-resistant property observed in C4-2 cells. These results strongly suggested that the radiation-resistant property may develop with progression of PCa to androgen- independent status. Not only can the LNCaP and C4-2 PCa progression model be applied for investigating androgen-refractory progression, but it can also be used to explore the development of radiation resistance in PCa.

Path signature-based XAI-enabled network time series classification

Classifying network time series(NTS) is crucial for automating network administration and ensuring cyberspace security. It enables the detection of anomalies, the identification of network attacks,and the monitoring of performance issues, thereby providing valuable support for network protection and optimization. However, modern communication networks pose challenges for NTS classification *** include handling large-scale and complex NTS data, extracting features from intricate datasets, and addressing explainability requirements. These challenges are particularly pronounced for complex 5G networks. Notably, explainability has become crucial for the widespread deployment of network automation for 5G networks and beyond. To tackle these challenges, we propose a path-signature-based NTS classification model called recurrent signature(Recur Sig). This innovative model is designed to overcome the time-consuming feature selection problem by utilizing deep-learning(DL) techniques. Additionally, it provides a solution for addressing the black-box issue associated with DL models in network automation systems(NAS) by incorporating an explainable classification approach. Extensive experimentation on various public datasets demonstrates that Recur Sig outperforms existing models in accuracy and explainability. The results indicate its potential for application in cyberspace security and automated network management, offering an explainable solution for network protection and optimization.

leader-follower Optimal Selection Method for Distributed Control System in Active Distribution Networks

Aiming at the shortcomings of a traditional centralized control in an active distribution network(AND),this paper proposes a leader-follower distributed group cooperative control strategy to realize multiple operation and control tasks for an *** distributed information exchange protocols of the distributed generation(DG)group devoted to node voltage regulation or exchange power control are developed using a DG power utilization ratio as the consensus *** these bases,this study further investigates the leader optimal selection method for a DG group to improve the response speed of the distributed control ***,a single or multiple leader selection model is established to minimize the constraints of the one-step convergence factor and the number of leaders to improve the response speed of the distributed control *** simulation results of the IEEE 33 bus standard test system show the effectiveness of the proposed distributed control *** addition,the response speed of a DG control group can be improved effectively when the single or multiple leaders are selected optimally.

Heat Transfer and Flow Structure of a Turbine Blade's Air-cooled leading Edge Considering Different Hole Shapes and Additional Flow Angles

A numerical study is conducted to elucidate the impact of hole shapes and additional flow angles on the flow structure of the coolant and temperature field in the leading edge area of the gas turbine *** typical hole shapes are considered for the GE-E3 *** impact of the additional flow angle(E)within each hole shape on the temperature field is *** results indicate that for the leading edge area and suction surface,the fan-shaped hole case performs best in decreasing temperatures,with a decrease of about 43 *** is mainly due to the fact that the fan-shaped hole has the maximum expansion in hole spanwise *** the pressure surface,the console hole case performs best in decreasing temperatures,with a maximum reduction of about 47.2 *** influence of E on the surface temperature at leading edge area varied between the different hole *** the cylinder hole and console hole,the E=-20°case has the lowest area-averaged *** both the fan-shaped hole and the 7-7-7 shaped hole are expansion holes,the pattern of variation of the leading edge area temperature with increasing E is similar for the fan-shaped hole case and 7-7-7 shaped hole *** E=20°case shows the lowest spanwise-averaged temperature near the hole outlet,and the E=-20°case shows the lowest spanwise-averaged temperature further downstream.
