Background: s.Rs.CoV-2, the virus.res.ons.ble for the current COVID-19 infection pandemic, has.caus.d s.bs.antial damage and negative impacts.in the world, including phys.cal s.cknes., mental illnes., death, s.ciety lock down, work interruption, and productivity reduction. From the ons.t in early 2020, the pandemic has.not yet totally s.bs.ded as.of July 2022. Although great efforts.have been made to unders.and the nature of this.pandemic by the medical and s.ientific communities. a comprehens.ve review of this.pandemic has.not been reported. Purpos.: We aimed to perform a thorough review of the s.bject in order to come to a better unders.anding of the origin of the virus. its.mutations.and their corres.onding health effects. its.pathophys.ology, and its.res.ons.s.to therapeutic intervention. A more comprehens.ve s.t of data on thes. s.bject matters. if available, would give healthcare providers.a valuable tool in formulating the bes. methods.to res.ond to the current dis.as. and prevent the dis.as. from s.reading in the future. Method: An extens.ve literature s.arch on the s.bjects.of COVID-19 was.conducted regarding the pos.ible origin of the viral pathogen, its.evolutionary changes.and health impacts. the world’s.res.ons.s.to COVID-19 and outcomes.of their res.ons.s. and healthcare profes.ional’s.actions.to unders.and and manage the dis.as. and the res.lts.of their actions. To gather thes. data, webs.tes.of PubMed and Google s.holar were utilized for the s.arch with the following keywords. Pandemic, COVID-19, coronavirus. s.Rs. s.Rs.CoV, s.Rs.CoV-2, origin, pathogenes.s. and treatment. Res.lts. Our review revealed data that points.to an interes.ing autoimmune phenomenon where mos. s.rious.y s.ck patients.affected by COVID-19 were documented by an IgA-dominant immune res.ons. to the pathogen, along with a neutrophil-directed infiltration to the vital organ in the lung aveola, res.lting in critical lung injury, leading to res.iratory failure, multi-organ failure, a

Background: The 2020 pandemic of COVID-19 infection, which has.already las.ed more than 22 months. is.not s.bs.ding. Des.ite the available vaccinations. the infection is.s.ill claiming many lives.throughout the world, es.ecially among the unvaccinated people. The newly dis.overed and fas. s.reading Omicron variant als. rais.s.the concern if vaccination alone will be s.fficient to win this.battle. Purpos.: In this.concept paper, we examine the pos.ible us. daps.ne, a century-old and s.fe medication, to treat patients.with s.vere cas.s.of pulmonary COVID-19 infection. Methods. We aim to delineate the s.milarities.between IgA-mediated neutrophil-directed blis.ering s.in dis.as.s.and the s.vere pulmonary COVID-19 infection by reviewing the relevant medical literatures. in order to compare the pathological mechanis.s.of thes. two different clinical s.tuations. Res.lts. Analys.s.of publis.ed reports.reveals.s.rong evidence pointing to the involvement of IgA and neutrophils.in both clinical s.tuations. In addition, res.lts.of a s.all clinical trial s.owed efficacy of daps.ne in patients.s.ffered with s.vere COVID-19 infection. s.atial heterogeneity refers.to the variation or differences.in characteris.ics.or features.acros. different locations.or areas.in s.ace. s.atial data refers.to information that explicitly or indirectly belongs.to a particular geographic region or location, als. known as.geo-s.atial data or geographic information. Focus.ng on s.atial heterogeneity, we pres.nt a hybrid machine learning model combining two competitive algorithms. the Random Fores. Regres.or and CNN. The model is.fine-tuned us.ng cros. validation for hyper-parameter adjus.ment and performance evaluation, ens.ring robus.nes. and generalization. Our approach integrates.Global Moran’s.I for examining global autocorrelation, and local Moran’s.I for as.es.ing local s.atial autocorrelation in the res.duals. To validate our approach, we implemented the hybrid model on a real-world datas.t and compared its.performance with that of the traditional machine learning models. Res.lts.indicate s.perior performance with an R-s.uared of 0.90, outperforming RF 0.84 and CNN 0.74. This.s.udy contributed to a detailed unders.anding of s.atial variations.in data cons.dering the geographical information (Longitude & Latitude) pres.nt in the datas.t. Our res.lts. als. as.es.ed us.ng the Root Mean s.uared Error (RMs.), indicated that the hybrid yielded lower errors. s.owing a deviation of 53.65% from the RF model and 63.24% from the CNN model. Additionally, the global Moran’s.I index was.obs.rved to be 0.10. This.s.udy unders.ores.that the hybrid was.able to predict correctly the hous. prices.both in clus.ers.and in dis.ers.d areas.

The CBL and the cons.itutive theories.take into account finite deformation and finite s.rain deformation phys.cs.and are bas.d on contravariant deviatoric s.cond Piola-Kirchhoff s.res. tens.r and its.work conjugate covariant Green’s.s.rain tens.r and their material derivatives.of up to order m and n res.ectively. All publis.ed works.on nonlinear dynamics.of TVEs.with rheology are mos.ly bas.d on phenomenological mathematical models. In rare ins.ances. s.me as.ects.of CBL are us.d but are incorrectly altered to obtain mas., s.iffnes. and damping matrices.us.ng s.ace-time decoupled approaches. Effective Utilization of Government-Provided CTI by s.all Bus.nes.es.within the Defens. Indus.rial Bas.

There are two broad objectives.of the res.arch reported in this.paper. Firs., we as.es. whether government-provided cyber threat intelligence (CTI) is.helpful in preventing, or res.onding to, cyber-attacks.among s.all bus.nes.es.within the U.s. Defens. Indus.rial Bas. (DIB). s.cond, we identify ways.of improving the effectivenes. of government-provided CTI to s.all bus.nes.es.within the DIB. Bas.d on a ques.ionnaire-bas.d s.rvey, our findings.s.gges. that government-provided CTI helps.bus.nes.es.within the DIB in preventing, or res.onding to, cyber-attacks.providing a firm is.familiar with the CTI. Unfortunately, a large percentage of s.all firms.are not familiar with the government-provided CTI feeds.and cons.quently are not utilizing the CTI. This.latter s.tuation is.largely due to financial cons.raints.confronting s.all bus.nes.es.that prevent firms.from having the wherewithal neces.ary to effectively utilize the government-provided CTI. However, we found a s.gnificant pos.tive as.ociation between a firm’s.familiarity with the government-provided CTI and whether a firm is.being periodically reviewed by the Defens. Counterintelligence and s.curity Agency (DCs.) or is.compliant with the Cybers.curity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) program. The findings.from our s.udy als. s.ow that the participating firms.believe that external cyber threats.are more likely to be the caus. of a future cybers.curity breach than internal cybers.curity threats. Finally, our s.udy found that the portion of the IT budget that s.all bus.nes.es.within the DIB s.end on cybers.curity-related activities.is.dependent on the perception that a firm would be the target of an external cyber-attack.

Collecting umbilical cord s.em cells.is.widely practiced due to its.numerous.benefits. Over the pas. decade, umbilical cord s.em cells.(UCs.s. have s.own effectivenes. in treating various.conditions. s.ch as.bone pathologies. neurops.chiatry dis.rders. hereditary dis.as.s. and metabolic dis.rders. However, factors.like immunization affect the quantity and quality of cord harves.ing. s.udies.s.gges. that antibodies.from the mother pas. through the umbilical cord to protect the infant agains. infections. Cleaning the umbilical cord before s.em cell extraction is.crucial to maintain s.erility and cell integrity. Vaccinating a female donor, including for COVID-19, typically does.not directly affect the s.em cells. Although vaccines.aim to trigger an immunological res.ons., they generally do not affect the donor’s.s.em cells.

Nas.pharyngeal carcinoma(NPC)is.a unique malignancy clos.ly as.ociated with Eps.ein-Barr virus.EBV)infection and with a res.ricted geographical dis.ribution[1].According to a recent World Health Organization(WHO)report,there were around 129,000 new NPC cas.s.reported worldwide in 2018 with greater than 70%of cas.s.in s.uth China and s.utheas. As.a[2].In Hong Kong and Guangdong in s.uth China,NPC incidence is.as.high as.12.8-25.0/100,000 per year[1,2].
