UV absorbance（SUVA） at 254 nm were appli.d for characteri.i.g depth and seasonal vari.ti.ns of DOM *** revealed that late spri.g snowmelt leached relati.ely fresh DOM from plant resi.ue and soi. organi. matter down i.to the deeper vadose zone（VZ）.More humi.i.d DOM i. preferenti.lly adsorbed by upper VZ sedi.ents,whi.e non-or lesshumi.i.d DOM was transported i.to the deeper ***,DOM at all depths undergoes rapi. bi.logi.al humi.i.ati.n process evi.enced by the products of mi.robi.l by-product-li.e（i.e.,tyrosi.e-li.e and tryptophan-li.e） matter i. late spri.g and early summer,parti.ularly i. the deeper VZ,resulti.g i. more humi.i.d DOM（e.g.,fulvi.-aci.-li.e and humi.-aci.-li.e substances） at the end of *** i.di.ates that DOM transport i. domi.ated by spri.g snowmelt,and DOM humi.i.ati.n i. controlled by mi.robi.l degradati.n,wi.h seasonal *** i. expected that these relati.ely si.ple spectroscopi. measurements（e.g.,EEM spectroscopy,Hi. and SUVA） appli.d to depth-and temporally-di.tri.uted pore-water samples can provi.e useful i.si.hts i.to transport and humi.i.ati.n of DOM i. other subsurface envi.onments as well.

Over the last si. years many experi.ents have been done at the Nati.nal i.ni.i.n Faci.i.y to measure the Hugoni.t of materi.ls,such asCHplasti. at extreme pressures,up to 800 ***“Gbar”desi.n employs a strong spheri.ally convergi.g shock launched through a soli. ball of materi.l usi.g a hohlraum radi.ti.n *** shock front condi.i.ns are characteri.ed usi.g x-ray *** thi. paper we exami.e the role of radi.ti.n i. heati.g the unshocked materi.l i. front of the shock to understand the i.pact i. has on equati.n of state measurements and how i. dri.es the measured data off the theoreti.al Hugoni.t *** parti.ular,the two mai. sources of radi.ti.n heati.g are the preheati.g of the unshocked materi.l by the hi.h-energy ki.o-electron-volt x-rays i. the hohlraum and the heati.g of the materi.l i. front of the shock,as the shocked materi.l becomes hot enough to radi.te *** our model,we esti.ate that preheati.g can reach 4 eV i. unshocked materi.l,and that radi.ti.n heati.g can begi. to dri.e data off the Hugoni.t si.ni.i.antly,as pressures reach above 400 Mb.

The i.enti.i.ati.n of jets ori.i.ati.g from quarks and gluons,often referred to as quark/gluon taggi.g,plays an i.portant role i. vari.us analyses performed at the Large Hadron Colli.er,as Standard Model measurements and searches for new parti.les decayi.g to quarks often rely on suppressi.g a large gluon-i.duced *** paper descri.es the measurement of the effi.i.nci.s of quark/gluon taggers developed wi.hi. the ATLAS Collaborati.n,usi.g √s=13 TeV proton–proton colli.i.n data wi.h an i.tegrated lumi.osi.y of 140 fb^(-1) collected by the ATLAS *** taggers wi.h hi.h performances i. rejecti.g jets from gluon over jets from quarks are studi.d:one tagger i. based on requi.ements on the number of i.ner-detector tracks associ.ted wi.h the jet,and the other combi.es several jet substructure observables usi.g a boosted deci.i.n tree.A method i. establi.hed to determi.e the quark/gluon fracti.n i. data,by usi.g quark/gluon-enri.hed subsamples defi.ed by the jet *** i. taggi.g effi.i.ncy between data and si.ulati.n are provi.ed for jets wi.h transverse momentum between 500 GeV and 2 TeV and for multi.le tagger worki.g poi.ts.
