Object.ve:t. review follow-up imaging aft.r equivocal bone scans in men wit. cast.at.on resist.nt.prost.t. cancer(CRPC)and examine t.e charact.rist.cs of equivocal bone scans t.at.are associat.d wit. posit.ve follow-up ***:We ident.fied 639 men from five Vet.rans Affairs Hospit.ls wit. a t.chnet.um-99m bone scan aft.r CRPC diagnosis,of whom 99(15%)had equivocal *** wit. equivocal scans were segregat.d int.“high-risk”and“low-risk”subcat.gories based upon wording in t.e bone scan *** follow-up imaging(bone scans,comput.d t.mography[Ct.,magnet.c resonance imaging[MRI],and X-rays)in t.e 3 mont.s aft.r t.e equivocal scan were *** were compared bet.een pat.ent. wit. a posit.ve *** follow-up imaging aft.r an equivocal bone ***:Of 99 men wit. an equivocal bone scan,43(43%)received at.least.one follow-up imaging t.st.including 32/82(39%)wit. low-risk scans and 11/17(65%)wit. high-risk scans(p=0.052).Of follow-up t.st.,67%were negat.ve,14%were equivocal,and 19%were *** t.ose who underwent.follow-up imaging,3/32(9%)low-risk men had met.st.ses vs.5/11(45%)high-risk men(p=0.015).Conclusion:While 19%of all men who received follow-up imaging had posit.ve follow-up imaging,only 9%of t.ose wit. a low-risk equivocal bone scan had met.st.ses versus 45%of t.ose wit. *** preliminary findings,if confirmed in larger st.dies,suggest.follow-up imaging t.st. for low-risk equivocal scans can be delayed while high-risk equivocal scans should receive follow-up imaging.

Research support. t.at.a single session of exercise benefit. cognit.ve performance by children, and a limit.d number of st.dies have demonst.at.d t.at.t.ese effect. can also be realized by children wit. ADHD. t.e purpose of t.is st.dy was t. examine t.e effect.of acut. exercise on cognit.ve performance by children wit. and wit.out.ADHD. Met.ods： Children wit. and wit.out.ADHD were asked t. perform cognit.ve t.sks on 2 days following t.eat.ent.condit.ons t.at.were assigned in a random, count.rbalanced order. t.e t.eat.ent.condit.ons consist.d of a 30-min cont.ol condit.on on 1 day and a moderat. int.nsit. exercise condit.on on t.e ot.er day. Result.： Exercise significant.y benefit.d performance on all t.ree condit.ons of t.e St.oop t.sk, but.did not.significant.y affect.performance on t.e t.wer of London or t.e t.ail Making t.st. Post.ort.m physical examinat.on revealed an absence of penis wit. a large scrot.m, t.ansposed uret.ral orifice, and small t.st.s. t.e hist.logical analysis of t.e t.st.s ident.fied abnormal epit.elium in t.e seminiferous t.bules t.at.lacked germ and Sert.li cells as well as t.e int.rst.t.um wit.out.Leydig cells present. t.e exome sequencing of t.e individual’s DNA using t.e Next.Generat.on Sequencing (NGS) Illumina plat.orm revealed no genet.c variant. associat.d wit. eit.er penile or uret.ral cancer t.at.could have explained t.e complet. penect.my, but.point.d t.ward a pot.nt.ally impaired product.on of t. and t. t.yroid hormones which could account.for t.e observed t.st.cular malformat.on. Overall, t.e dat. obt.ined raise an import.nt.quest.on as t. whet.er t.e t.yroid hormone axis could be an import.nt.part.of t.e hormonal archit.ct.re support.ng male sexual behavior.

Product.sampling is an import.nt.part.of food ret.iling promot.on. We explore how food sampling affect. individuals’ t.t.l caloric est.mat.s of a consumpt.on episode. In a field st.dy, at.a small self-serve frozen yogurt.st.re, 144 part.cipant. were randomly assigned t. eit.er a cont.ol or samples’ condit.on. Analysis of variance showed t.at.individuals who had no or one sample overest.mat.d t.e number of calories t.ey were consuming, while t.ose who had t.o or more samples underest.mat.d t.eir caloric int.ke.
