Follicle-stimulating hormone(FSH)represents a therapeutic option in normogonadotropic patients with idiopathic *** aim of this review was to evaluate the possible dose-and drug-dependent efficacy of FSH treatment on conventional sperm *** performed a comprehensive systematic review via a meta-analysis of all available randomized controlled trials,in which FSH administration was compared with placebo or no treatment when administered to normogonadotropic patients with idiopathic *** the 971 articles that were retrieved,5 were fin ally included,in eluding a total of 372 patie nts and 294 ***,FSH treatment was effective in ameliorating the sperm concentration,total count,progressive motility,but not normal *** the basis of the weekly dosage,the studies were classified into those using low(175-262.5 IU per week),intermediate(350-525 IU per week),and high(700-1050 IU per week)*** low doses,FSH improved only sperm *** intermediate doses,FSH ameliorated sperm concentration and *** sperm count and progressive motility showed a trend toward the *** high doses,FSH increased sperm concentration,total sperm count,and progressive *** morphology showed a trend toward the ***,both highly purified FSH(hpFSH)and recombinant human FSH(rhFSH)improved sperm concentration,total sperm count,progressive motility,but not *** different efficacy was observed between these two *** meta-analysis provides evidence in favor of high FSH *** FSH efficacy was not related to the preparation type(recombinant vs highly purified).Further studies are needed to evaluate the effectiveness of Iong-standing treatment regimes.

The TORe SUPRA Tokamak was built by eURATOM-CeA association. The NbTi conductor of superconducting coils is inserted in a tight enclosure filled with pressurized superfluid helium of 0.125 MPa at 1.8 K. The thick casing is cooled to 4.5 K by 1.8 MPa in 4.5 K supercritical helium circulation. Around this thick casing, a 80 K thermal shield protects the parts at very low temperatures from the thermal radiation, which is cooled by pressurized helium at 80 K and 1.8 MPa. A new measurement method for helium mass flow rate of 80 K shield and 4.5 K casing is described in this paper. The commissioning was done on the two helium loops of the cryoplant: the supercritical 4.5 K thick casing and 80 K shields. The purpose is to improve control of the 4.5 K and 80 K refrigeration loops.

We study Lagrangian submanifolds foliated by （n - 1）-spheres in R^2n for n ≥ 3. We give a general parametrization for such submanifolds, and refine that description when the submanifold is special Lagrangian, self-similar, Hamiltonian stationary or has mean curvature vector of constant length. In all these cases, the submanifold is centered, i.e. invariant under the action of SO（n）. It suffices then to solve a simple ODe in two variables to describe the geometry of the solutions.

Contrast enhanced ultrasound(CeUS)has been widely implemented in clinical practice because of the enormous quantity of information it provides,along with its low cost,reproducibility,minimal invasiveness,and safety of the secondgeneration ultrasound contrast *** overcome the limitation of CeUS given by the subjective evaluation of the contrast enhancement behaviour,quantitative analysis of contrast kinetics with generation of time-intensity curves has been introduced in recent *** quantification of perfusion parameters[named as dynamic-CeUS(D-CeUS)]has several applications in gastrointestinal neoplastic and inflammatory ***,the limited availability of large studies and the heterogeneity of the technologies employed have precluded the standardisation of D-CeUS,which potentially represents a valuable tool for clinical practice in management of gastrointestinal *** this article,we reviewed the evidence exploring the application of D-CeUS in gastrointestinal diseases,with a special focus on liver,pancreas,and inflammatory bowel diseases.

Introduction: 68Ga-PSMA-11 is considered the gold standard in detection of micro and oligometastases in advanced prostate cancer, being used for therapeutic planning, as well as, potentially, for evaluating response to treatment. The development of ready-to-use lyophilized kit of PSMA-11 adds quality and safety to the routine use of this radiopharmaceutical and represents a pharmacotechnical challenge as it must preserve the integrity and specificity of the ligand. Methods: PSMA-11 kit formulation was proposed, considering radiolabeling parameters and the preservation of the peptide during the lyophilization process, using mannitol as an excipient. Critical temperature characterization studies were carried out using DSC equipment and the freeze-drying process was developed. The direct radiolabeling conditions were evaluated and standardized using 68Ge/68Ga generator eluate from two different manufacturers (ITG and eckert & Ziegler). The radiochemical purity was evaluated by TLC and HPLC. Biological evaluation was carried out with lyophilized PSMA-11 to demonstrate the integrity of the peptide and preservation of biological activity after the lyophilization process. Results: Based on critical temperature characterization studies, the freeze-drying cycle was designed to reach a freezing temperature of around −40˚C and primary drying at 2˚C. Using 20 mg of mannitol, an intact and elegant lyophilized cake was obtained. PSMA-11 lyophilized kit was directly labeled with 68Ga eluate from 68Ge/68Ga GMP generators (ITG and eckert & Ziegler) resulting in % RP > 95% at pH 4.0 to 4.5. The results obtained from in vitro and in vivo biological competition studies confirmed the preservation of PSMA-11 affinity for the receptor after lyophilization. Conclusion: A lyophilized formulation (Kit) of PSMA-11 was successfully obtained, which preserved the integrity and biological activity of the peptide and guaranteed radiolabeling efficiency.

Aqueous solutions of methyldiethanolamine （MDeA） and piperazine （PZ） are commonly used solvent nowadays. In this work a thermodynamic analysis with the electrolyte-NRTL model has been performed for systems composed of acidic gases and MDeA＋ PZ aqueous solution. ASPeN Plus＇s has been used for thermodynamic modeling. Values of binary interaction parameters for liquid phase activity coefficients have been estimated from regressions of experimental data. Moreover, the influence of the interactions between ion pairs and MDeA or PZ molecular species has been analyzed. The final aim is to obtain a reliable tool for design and simulation of absorption and stripping columns, fundamentals also in order to carry out energy saving studies.

The rice Xa21 gene, which confers resistance to the bacterial pathogen Xanthomonas oryzae pv. oryzae （Xoo）, encodes a receptor-like kinase, Few components involved in transducing the Xa21-mediated defense response have yet been identified. Here, we report that XA21 binds to a WRKY transcription factor, called OsWRKY62. The OsWRKY62 gene encodes two splice variants （OsWRKY62.1 and OsWRKY62.2）. OsWRKY62.1：smGFP2 and OsWRKY62.2：smGFP2 fusion pro- teins partially localize to the nucleus. Transgenic plants overexpressing OsWRKY62.1 are compromised in basal defense and Xa21-mediated resistance to Xoo. Furthermore, overexpression of OsWRKY62.1 suppresses the activation of defenserelated genes. These results imply that OsWRKY62 functions as a negative regulator of innate immunity in rice, and serves as a critical mediator of both basal and race-specific defense responses.
