The activation of Ca2+ entry through store-operated channels by agonists that deplete Ca2+ from the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) is a ubiquitous signaling mechanism, the molecular basis of which has remained elusive for the past two decades. Store-operated Ca2+-release-activated Ca2+ (CRAC) channels constitute the sole pathway for Ca2+ entry following antigen-receptor engagement. In a set of breakthrough studies over the past two years, stromal interaction molecule 1 (STIM1, the ER Ca2+ sensor) and Orai1 (a pore-forming subunit of the CRAC channel) have been identified. Here we review these recent studies and the insights they provide into the mechanism of store-operated Ca2+ channels (SOCCs).

NiCoCrAlY-ZrO2·Y2O3 coatings were deposited on the substrates by using a technology of combining electron,atom and ion beams （three beams）. Isothermal oxidation for these samples was performed at 1100℃ for 100-300 h. The results show that a thermally grown oxide （TGO） layer was formed between NiCoCrAlY layer and oxidation. The TGO contains α-Al2O3 and Y4Al2O9 etc. oxides. The intensity ratio of α-Al2O3/Y4Al2O9 was monotonously decreased with increasing oxidation time based on XRD （X-ray diffraction） analysis. The Y4Al2O9 phase plays the most important role in high temperature oxidation resistance at 1100℃. The related mechanism was also discussed.

New TiAl alloys, containing 45 at.% A1, 7 at.% Nb, x at.% W, and 0.15 at.% B （x = 0, 0.2, 0.4, and 0.7） were prepared by arc melting and drop casting consequently. Using optical microscopy, scanning electron microscopy （SEM）, and electron superprobe technologies, the effects of tungsten on the microstructural evolution of the TiA1 alloys, including the colony size and lamellar spacing, were analyzed. It was found that cellular structures and dendrites were formed in the as-cast TiA1 alloys, and heavy metals, such as niobium and tungsten, tend to segregate strongly at the interface of the cellular structures and dendrites. Trace tungsten can effectively impede the grain growth and narrow the interlamellar spacing. 0.4 at.% tungsten is more effective in refuting the microstructure of the TiAI alloys.

Osteoporotic Vertebral Fracture(OVFs)is a common lumbar spine disorder that severely affects the health of *** a clear bone blocks boundary,CT images have gained obvious advantages in OVFs *** with CT images,X-rays are faster and more inexpensive but often leads to misdiagnosis and miss-diagnosis because of the overlapping *** how to transfer CT imaging advantages to achieve OVFs classification in X-rays is *** this purpose,we propose a multi-modal semantic consistency network which could do well X-ray OVFs classification by transferring CT semantic consistency *** from existing methods,we introduce a feature-level mix-up module to get the domain soft labels which helps the network reduce the domain offsets between CT and *** the meanwhile,the network uses a self-rotation pretext task on both CT and X-ray domains to enhance learning the high-level semantic invariant *** employ five evaluation metrics to compare the proposed method with the state-of-the-art *** final results show that our method improves the best value of AUC from 86.32 to 92.16%.The results indicate that multi-modal semantic consistency method could use CT imaging features to improve osteoporotic vertebral fracture classification in X-rays effectively.

Cellular energy metabolism not only promotes tumor cell growth and metastasis but also directs immune cell survival,proliferation and the ability to perform specific and functional immune responses within the tumor microenvironment.A better understanding of the molecular regulation of metabolism in different cell components in the tumor-suppressive microenvironment is critical for the development of effective strategies for human cancer ***-like receptors(TLRs)have recently been recognized as critical factors involved in tumor pathogenesis,regulating both tumor cells and tumor-infiltrating innate and adaptive immune ***,little is known about the molecular crosstalk between TLR signaling and tumor or/and immune cell metabolism,although there is abundant expression of TLRs in these *** this review,we explore the functional role of TLR signaling in reprogramming cell metabolism in the tumor *** particular,we discuss how malignant tumors regulate metabolism to support their growth and survival,summarize more recently identified metabolic profiles of different immune cell subsets and TLR-mediated regulation of cellular metabolism in both tumor and immune cells,and further explore potential strategies targeting cell metabolism for TLR-based cancer *** improved understanding of these issues should open new avenues for the development of novel strategies via TLR-mediated metabolic reprogramming of the tumor microenvironment for cancer immunotherapy.

Optical flow based guidance system design for semi-strapdown image homing guided missiles

This paper focuses mainly on semi-strapdown image homing guided （SSIHG） system design based on optical flow for a six-degree-of-freedom （6-DOF） axial-symmetric skid-to-turn missile. Three optical flow algorithms suitable for large displacements are introduced and compared. The influence of different displacements on computational accuracy of the three algorithms is analyzed statistically. The total optical flow of the SSIHG missile is obtained using the Scale Invariant Feature Transform （SIFT） algorithm, which is the best among the three for large displacements. After removing the rotational optical flow caused by rotation of the gimbal and missile body from the total optical flow, the remaining translational optical flow is smoothed via Kalman filtering. The circular navigation guidance （CNG） law with impact angle constraint is then obtained utilizing the smoothed translational optical flow and position of the target image. Simulations are carried out under both disturbed and undisturbed conditions, and results indicate the proposed guidance strategy for SSIHG missiles can result in a precise target hit with a desired impact angle without the need for the time-to-go parameter.

The traveling salesman problem(TSP), a typical non-deterministic polynomial(NP) hard problem, has been used in many engineering applications. As a new swarm-intelligence optimization algorithm, the fruit fly optimization algorithm(FOA) is used to solve TSP, since it has the advantages of being easy to understand and having a simple implementation. However, it has problems, including a slow convergence rate for the algorithm, easily falling into the local optimum, and an insufficient optimization precision. To address TSP effectively, three improvements are proposed in this paper to improve FOA. First, the vision search process is reinforced in the foraging behavior of fruit flies to improve the convergence rate of FOA. Second, an elimination mechanism is added to FOA to increase the diversity. Third, a reverse operator and a multiplication operator are proposed. They are performed on the solution sequence in the fruit fly's smell search and vision search processes, respectively. In the experiment, 10 benchmarks selected from TSPLIB are tested. The results show that the improved FOA outperforms other alternatives in terms of the convergence rate and precision.

Field-programmable gate arrays(FPGAs)have recently evolved as a valuable component of the heterogeneous *** register transfer level(RTL)design flows demand the designers to be experienced in hardware,resulting in a possible failure of ***-level synthesis(HLS)permits designers to work at a higher level of abstraction through synthesizing high-level language programs to RTL *** provides a promising approach to solve these ***,the performance of HLS tools still has *** example,designers remain exposed to various aspects of hardware design,development cycles are still time consuming,and the quality of results(QoR)of HLS tools is far behind that of RTL *** this paper,we survey the literature published since 2014 focusing on the performance optimization of HLS *** with previous work,we extend the scope of the performance of HLS tools,and present a set of three-level evaluation criteria,covering from ease of use of the HLS tools to promotion on specific metrics of *** also propose performance evaluation equations for describing the relation between the performance optimization and the *** find that it needs more efforts on the ease of use for efficient HLS *** suggest that it is better to draw an analogy between the HLS development process and the embedded system design process,and to provide more elastic HLS methodology which integrates FPGAs virtual machines.
