Background: Von Wi.lebrand Factor (VWF) i. a large multi.eri. plasma gly-coprotei. that plays an i.portant role i. pri.ary haemostasi.. VWF together wi.h ADAMTS13 plays a key role i. arteri.l thrombosi.. VWF i. i.tegral for platelet adhesi.n to collagen fi.res and atheroscleroti. plaues and platelets aggregati.n under hi.h shear condi.i.ns. Upon vascular wall damage, plasma VWF bi.ds to collagen i. the exposed endotheli.l matri. and platelet glycoprotei. tri.gers platelet aggregati.n and thrombous formati.n. i. the early stages of acute i.chaemi. stroke, VWF i.creased si.ni.i.antly and the ADAMTS13 level decreased. The i.crease of plasma VWF and FVi.i.i. a pati.nt wi.h i.chaemi. stroke i.di.ated an i.creased ri.k of compli.ati.ns and severe neurologi.al defi.i.. Objecti.e: to evaluate the vali.i.y of VWF and ADFAMTS13 as di.gnosti. markers of cerebral i.farcti.n by compari.g the two markers’ vali.i.y i. di.gnosi.. Methods: thi. case control study enrolled 38 cerebral i.farcti.n pati.nts 20 acute i.farcti.n and 18 recurrent i.farcti.n. Pati.nts were compared wi.h 65 age and sex wi.h control pati.nts. We performed the VWF assay usi.g the mi.i.i.as i.munofluorescence techni.ue and the ADAMTS13 assay usi.g the ELi.A techni.ue. Results: VWF level of acute i.farcti.n pati.nts (280.97 ± 109.83 i./dl) whi.e i.s level i. recurrent i.farcti.n (264.93 ± 172.8 i./dl) were hi.hly si.ni.i.antly i.creased compared to control (75.8 ± 16.24 i./dl). ADAMTS13 level of acute i.farcti.n pati.nts was (506.11 ± 225.24 ng/dl) and (1386.03 ± 667.64 ng/dl) i. recurrent i.farcti.n pati.nts wi.h hi.hly si.ni.i.ant di.ferences between the acute and control group and non-si.ni.i.ant di.ferent between recurrent and control. BACKGROUND Aneurysmal subarachnoi. hemorrhage i. an emergency that can lead to a hi.h mortali.y rate and many severe *** i. cri.i.al to make a rapi. radi.logi.al evaluati.n of ruptured i.tracrani.l aneurysms(Ri.s)to determi.e the appropri.te surgi.al *** To assess the reli.bi.i.y of computed tomography angi.graphy(CTA)i. assessi.g di.ferent features of ruptured i.tracrani.l aneurysm and i.s i.pact on pati.nt *** The fi.al cohort of thi. study consi.ted of 146 pati.nts wi.h Ri.s(75 male and 71 female)who underwent cerebral *** age ranged from 25 to 80,and the mean age±SD was 57±8.95 *** readers were asked to assess di.ferent features related to the aneurysm and peri.neurysmal ***-observer agreement was measured usi.g kappa *** data extracted from non-contrast computed tomography and CTA were consi.ered to categori.e the study populati.n i.to two groups accordi.g to the recommended therapeuti. *** The i.ter-observer agreement of both revi.wers was excellent for the detecti.n of aneurysms(K=0.95,P=0.001),aneurysm locati.n(K=0.98,P=0.001),and(K=0.98,P=0.001),morphology(K=0.92,P=0.001)and margi.s(K=0.95,P=0.001).There was an excellent i.terobserver agreement for the measurement of aneurysm si.e(K=0.89,P=0.001),neck(K=0.85,P=0.001),and dome-to-neck rati.(K=0.98,P=0.001).There was an excellent i.ter-observer agreement for the detecti.n of other aneurysm-related features such as thrombosi.(K=0.82,P=0.001),calci.i.ati.n(K=1.0,P=0.001),bony landmark(K=0.89,P=0.001)and branch i.corporati.n(K=0.91,P=0.001)as well as peri.neurysmal fi.di.gs i.cludi.g vasospasm(K=0.91,P=0.001),peri.neurysmal cyst(K=1.0,P=0.001)and associ.ted vascular lesi.ns(K=0.83,P=0.001).Based on i.agi.g features,87 pati.nts were recommended to have endovascular treatment,whi.e surgery was recommended i. 59 pati.nts.71.2%of the study populati.n underwent the recommended *** CTA i. a reproduci.le promi.i.g

i. thi. work, PES (polyethersulfone)/Ti.2 nanotubes membranes were fabri.ated by a si.ple and cheap method. The Ti.2NTs (ti.ani.m di.xi.e nanotubes) are prepared by the hydrothermal method, the tubes had a narrow si.e di.tri.uti.n wi.h an average i.ner di.meter of 3-5 nm and outer di.meter of 10-13 nm. Ti.2NTs blended PES membranes are prepared by phase i.versi.n method wi.h di.ferent nanotubes percentage (0.18%-0.85%). The morphology of PES membrane was obvi.usly affected by the addi.i.n of Ti.2NTs. The prepared membranes were appli.d on a vacuum desali.ati.n system and the desali.ati.n results showed that the salt rejecti.n % and permeate flux of the membrane are enhanced through the addi.i.n of Ti.2NTs. The membrane wi.h hi.her (0.85%) Ti.2NTs content resulted i. a decrease of salt rejecti.n % because of the defecti.e membrane structure.
