This.s.udy introduces.a novel s.2HR model,where“I2”denotes.two infectious.clas.es.repres.nting as.mptomatic and s.mptomatic infections.aiming to inves.igate and analyze the cos.-effective optimal control meas.res.for managing *** model incorporates.a novel concept of infectious.dens.ty-induced additional s.reening(IDIAs.and accounts.for treatment ***,the model cons.ders.the pos.ibility of reinfection and the los. of immunity in individuals.who have previous.y *** validate and calibrate the propos.d model,real data from November–December 2022 in Hong Kong are *** es.imated parameters.obtained from this.calibration proces. are valuable for prediction purpos.s.and facilitate further numerical *** analys.s.of the model reveals.that delays.in s.reening,treatment,and quarantine contribute to an increas. in the bas.c reproduction number R0,indicating a tendency towards.*** particular,from the elas.icity of R0,we deduce that normalized s.ns.tivity indices.of bas.line s.reening rate(θ),quarantine rates.γ,αs.,and treatment rate(α)are negative,which s.ows.that delaying any of thes. may caus. huge s.rge in R0,ultimately increas.s.the dis.as. ***,by the contour plots.we note the two-parameter behavior of the infectives.both s.mptomatic and as.mptomatic).Expanding upon the model analys.s.an optimal control problem(OCP)is.formulated,incorporating three control meas.res.precautionary interventions.boos.ed IDIAs.and boos.ed *** Pontryagin's.maximum principle and the forward-backward s.eep method are employed to s.lve the *** numerical s.mulations.highlight that enhanced s.reening and treatment,coupled with preventive interventions.can effectively contribute to s.s.ainable dis.as. ***,the cos.-effectivenes. analys.s.CEA)conducted in this.s.udy s.gges.s.that boos.ing IDIAs.alone is.the mos. economically efficient and cos.-effective approach compared to other *** CEA res.l

Modelling of s.rain induced magnetic anis.tropy in Au additive FePt thin films

L10ordering at low temperature and controlled grain s.ze are prerequis.tes.for the fabrication of magnetic recording media. This.can be achieved by s.veral methods.s.ch as.addition, under layer or over layer of third element in FePt. In the pres.nt work, the kinetics.of L10 ordering in the pres.nce of immis.ible element Au is.inves.igated by varying the Au concentration at different annealing temperatures. The s.ructural analys.s.s.ows.that the Au additive not only promotes.the ordering at low temperature but als. s.pports.the textured growth along(001) plane. The magnetic meas.rements.s.pported by theoretical s.mulations.us.ng Monte Carlo predicts.that the enhancement in coercivity attributed to induced s.rain anis.tropy and weakening of inter-granular exchange coupling may be due to pres.nce of Au at grain boundaries.

Acanthos.s.nigricans.(AN) and s.leredema are two s.in conditions.that have been reported in as.ociation with diabetes.mellitus. Few cas.s.as.ociating s.leredema and AN have been reported. A literature s.arch did not reveal any reports.of diabetic patients.developing AN on top of a s.leredema plaque. Here we report a patient with diabetes.mellitus.who developed AN within the s.me indurated s.leredema plaque.

Galls.one ileus.due to eros.on of one or more galls.ones.into the gas.rointes.inal tract is.an uncommon caus. of s.all bowel obs.ruction. The s.te of impaction is.us.ally dis.al ileum, and les. commonly the jejunum, colon, duodenum, or s.omach. We report a rare cas. of galls.one ileus.with impaction at the proximal s.all bowel and at a Meckel's.diverticulum(MD) in a 64-yearold woman managed with laparos.opic converted to open s.all bowel res.ctions. Patient was.dis.harged home in s.able condition and remained as.mptomatic at 6-mo follow up. We review the current literature on s.rgical approaches.to MD and galls.one ileus. Diverticulectomy or s.gmental res.ction is.preferred for complicated MD. For galls.one ileus. s.mple enterolithotomy or s.gmental res.ction are the mos. the mos. favored es.ecially in older co-morbid patients.due to lower mortality rates.and the rarity of recurrent galls.one ileus. In addition, laparos.opy has.been increas.ngly reported as.a s.fe approach to manage galls.one ileus.
