In the era of precision medicine,it has been increasingly recognized that individuals with a certain disease are complex and different from each *** to the underestimation of the significant heterogeneity across participants in traditional"one-sizefits-all"trials,patient-centered trials that could provide optimal therapy customization to individuals with specific biomarkers were developed including the basket,umbrella,and platform trial designs under the master protocol *** recent years,the successive FDA approval of indications based on biomarker-guided master protocol designs has demonstrated that these new clinical trials are ushering in tremendous *** the rapid increase in the number of basket,umbrella,and platform trials,the current clinical and research understanding of these new trial designs,as compared with traditional trial designs,remains *** majority of the research focuses on methodologies,and there is a lack of in-depth insight concerning the underlying biological logic of these new clinical trial ***,we provide this comprehensive review of the discovery and development of basket,umbrella,and platform trials and their underlying logic from the perspective of precision ***,we discuss future directions on the potential development of these new clinical design in view of the"Precision Pro","Dynamic Precision",and"Intelligent Precision".This review would assist trial-related researchers to enhance the innovation and feasibility of clinical trial designs by expounding the underlying logic,which be essential to accelerate the progression of precision medicine.

In the boreal summer and autumn of 2023,the globe experienced an extremely hot period across both oceans and *** consecutive record-breaking mean surface temperature has caused many to speculate upon how the global temperature will evolve in the coming 2023/24 boreal *** this report,as shown in the multi-model ensemble mean(MME)prediction released by the Institute of Atmospheric Physics at the Chinese Academy of Sciences,a medium-to-strong eastern Pacific El Niño event will reach its mature phase in the following 2−3 months,which tends to excite an anomalous anticyclone over the western North Pacific and the Pacific-North American teleconnection,thus serving to modulate the winter climate in East Asia and North *** some uncertainty due to unpredictable internal atmospheric variability,the global mean surface temperature(GMST)in the 2023/24 winter will likely be the warmest in recorded history as a consequence of both the El Niño event and the long-term global warming ***,the middle and low latitudes of Eurasia are expected to experience an anomalously warm winter,and the surface air temperature anomaly in China will likely exceed 2.4 standard deviations above climatology and subsequently be recorded as the warmest winter since ***,the necessary early warnings are still reliable in the timely updated mediumterm numerical weather forecasts and sub-seasonal-to-seasonal prediction.

The reconstruction of global annual mean temperatures made by the PAGES 2k Consortium in 2019 represents one of the most influential sequences of global climate variability over the Common ***,it is still not clear how the reconstruction can be influenced by the selection of reconstruction methods and the selection of proxy records with different temporal resolutions over different *** adopt a widely used Composite-Plus-Scale method to elucidate the effects of the selection of the proxy records on temperature *** ensure the uniformity of data,different types of proxy records spanning the past~2000 years from the PAGES 2k proxy network were used to investigate the potential effects of proxy selection in hemispheric and global temperature reconstructions during the past two *** long-term trends,spectral characteristics,and volcanic responses of the annual temperatures were studied based on the *** results reveal a significant cooling trend in the global annual mean temperature using both tree-ring and non-tree-ring records during the 1–1850CE period,and show that the cooling exhibits a stronger trend in the Southern Hemisphere(SH)than that in the Northern Hemisphere(NH).Yet,the long-term trends vary according to different combinations of proxy *** reconstructions based on different types of proxies also exhibit different features in terms of volcanic responses and spectral ***-ring-based temperature reconstructions show stronger cooling responses to tropical volcanic eruptions,while non-tree-ring-based reconstructions suggest less robust volcanic responses,which may be related to dating uncertainties and low temporal resolution of the ***-ring width records tend to preserve a substantial proportion of high-frequency(larger fraction of low-frequency(>200 years)*** are needed to reduce uncertainti

The present work aims to create lattice distortion and optimize the surface oxygen vacancy(OV)concentration in a model spinel(Co_(0.2)Cr_(0.2)Fe_(0.2)Mn_(0.2)Ni_(0.2))_(3)O_(4)high-entropy oxide(HEO)through a heteroatom la^(3+)doping *** demonstrated,la^(3+)with a large radius can be doped successfully into the spinel lattice of(Co_(0.2)Cr_(0.2)Fe_(0.2)Mn_(0.2)Ni_(0.2))_(3)O_(4),thereby not only causing lattice distortion to increase oxygen vacancies but also refining crystalline grains and improving the specific *** with the(Co_(0.2)Cr_(0.2)Fe_(0.2)Mn_(0.2)Ni_(0.2))_(3)O_(4)anode,the(la0.01CoCrFeMnNi)3/5.01O4 anode with moderate doping exhibits excellent cycling performance(1228 mAh·g^(−1)after 400 cycles at 0.2 A·g^(−1))and yields an increase of 75%rate capability at 3 A·g^(−1)(420 mAh·g^(−1)at 3 A·g^(−1)).The desirable kinetic transport of electrons and diffusion of Li+within the moderately la^(3+)-doped anode and the synergistic interfacial pseudocapacitive behavior satisfy the redox reaction at a high rate,thus increasing rate capability.
