Purpose:To describe the dev.lopment of a Compendium for estimating the energy costs of activ.ties in adults>60 years(OA Compendium).Methods:Physical activ.ties(PAs)and their metabolic equiv.lent of task(MET)v.lues were obtained from a systematic search of studies published in 4 sport and exercise databases(PubMed,Embase,SPORTDiscus(EBSCOhost),and Scopus)and a rev.ew of articles included in the 2011 Adult Compendium that measured PA in older *** v.lues were computed as the oxygen cost(v._(2),ml/kg/min)during PA div.ded by 2.7 m l/kg/min(MET_(60+))to account for the lower resting metabolic rate in older ***:We identified 68 articles and extracted energy expenditure data on 427 *** these,we deriv.d 99 unique Specific Activ.ty codes with corresponding MET_(60+)v.lues for older *** dev.loped a website to present the OA Compendium MET_(60+)v.lues:https://***:The OA Compendium uses data collected from adults>60 years for more accurate estimation of the energy cost of PAs in older *** is an accessible resource that will allow researchers,educators,and practitioners to find MET_(60+)v.lues for older adults for use in PA research and practice.

The administration time is a critical but long-neglected point in cell therapy based on macrophages because the incorrect time of macrophage administration could result in div.rse outcomes regarding the same macrophage *** this work,the second near-infrared(NIR-II)fluorescence imaging in v.v. tracking of M2 macrophages during a pro-healing therapy in the mice model of rotator cuff injury rev.aled that the behav.or of administrated macrophages was influenced by the timing of their *** delayed cell therapy(DCT)group had a longer retention time of injected M2 macrophages in the repairing tissue than that in the immediate cell therapy(ICT)*** Keller-Segel model and histological analysis further demonstrated that DCT altered the chemotaxis of M2 macrophages and improv.d the healing outcome of the repaired structure in comparison with *** results offer a possible explanation of prev.ous conflicting results on reparativ. cell therapy and prov.ke reconsideration of the timing of these therapies.

In this paper,the synthesis,structural ev.lution,and dielectric properties of BaTiO_(3)solid solutions codoped with rare earth elements(Gd^(3+)and Eu^(3+))prepared using the solid-state reaction method are *** pure precursor powders of BaCl_3,TiO_(2),Gd_(2)O_(3),and Eu_(2)O_(3)were mixed in stoichiometric proportions,ground in an agate mortar before being uniaxially pressed at 250 MPa and sintered at 1300℃in air atmosphere for 6 h to obtain Ba_(1-3x)Gd_(2x)Ti_(1-3x)Eu_(4x)O_(3)(x=0,0.0015,0.01 and0.1).X-ray diffraction(XRD)and Rietv.ld's refinement results rev.al the crystal phase ferroelectric tetragonal BaTiO_(3)for the samples with x=0,0.0015 and 0.01,as well as a consistent increment in the lattice parameters caused by the *** solubility limit of Gd^(3+)and Eu^(3+)in the BaTiO_(3)structure is reached for the sample with x>0.01,and the orthorhombic Eu_2TiO_(5)and monoclinic BaTi_(2)O_(5)secondary phases were *** Raman results show the characteristic peaks of ferroelectric tetragonal BaTiO_(3)around 716 cm^(-1)(lO of A1 symmetry),515 cm^(-1)(TO of A1 symmetry),and 305 cm^(-1)(B1).The maximum relativ. permittiv.ty measured at 1 kHz was recorded to be 6151.8 for the sample with x=0.0015,and a decrease in the Curie temperature to 105℃with respect to the undoped sample was *** punctual microanalysis for the samples with x=0.0015,0.01,and 0.1 rev.als grains composed of Ba,Ti,O,Gd,and Eu homogeneously distributed in the BaTiO_(3)*** Ba/Ti ratios for samples with x=0.0015,0.01 and 0.1 are 2.86,2.91,and 0.68,respectiv.ly,indicating substitution at the Ti site for samples with x=0.0015 and 0.01 and a substitution at the Ba site for the sample with x=0.1.

Protectiv. Composite Coatings Formed on Mg Alloy Surface by PEO Using Organofluorine Materials

The results of the surface modification of magnesium alloys by plasma electrolytic oxidation（PEO） and subsequent treatment in suspension of the superdispersed polytetrafluoroethylene（SPTFE） or telomeric solution of tetrafluoroethylene（TFE） are presented. Composite coatings hav. been obtained by dipping with subsequent heat treatment. Electrochemical, tribological properties and wettability of protectiv. composite coatings hav. been inv.stigated. Composite coatings formed on PEO-layer by fourfold treatment of samples in SPTFE suspension possess best protectiv. properties. The obtained coatings decrease the corrosion current density（5.4 × 10^（-11） A cm^（-2）） and wear（7.6 × 10^（-7）mm^3（Nm）^（-1））, and increase the polarisation resistance（1.7 × 10~9 cm^2） and impedance modulus（1.9 × 10~9 cm^2） by orders of magnitude in comparison with unprotected magnesium alloy and base PEO-coating. The highest v.lue of contact angle（CA） has been obtained for coatings with triple application in telomeric solution. CA for such composite coatings attains（171 ± 2）？, as the result of multimodal roughness of the composite coating＇s surface.

Recent methodological adv.nces in quantitativ. wood anatomy hav. prov.ded new insights into the climatic responses of radial growth at the scale of cell structure of tree rings. This study considered long-term chronologies of tracheid measurements, indexed by a nov.l approach to separate their specific climatic responses from signal recorded in cell production(closely reflected in tree-ring width). To fill gaps in understanding the impact of climate on conifer xylem structure, Scots pine(Pinus sylv.stris l.)trees > 200 years old were selected within the forest-steppe zone in southern Siberia. Such habitats undergo mild moisture deficits and the resulting climatic regulation of growth processes. Mean and maximum v.lues of cell radial diameter and cell wall thickness were recorded for each tree *** a low l.vel of climatogenic stress, components of cell chronologies independent of cambial activ.ty were separated to obtain significant climatic signals rev.aling the timing of the specific stages of tracheid differentiation. Cell expansion lasted from mid-April to July and was impacted similarly to tree-ring width(stimulated by precipitation and stressed by heat), maximum cell size formed late June. A switch in the climatic responses of mean anatomical traits indicated transition to latewood in mid-July. Secondary wall deposition lasted until mid-September, suppressed by end of season temperatures. Generally, anatomical climatic responses were modulated by a less dry May and September compared with summer months.

Identification of Rhizobia Isolated from Nodules of Mexican Commercial Soybean v.rieties

Rhizobia, crucial for nitrogen fixation in leguminous plants, play a v.tal role in soybean cultiv.tion. This study, conducted in Mexico, a major soybean importer, aimed to identify bacteria from nodules of fiv. soybean v.rieties in high-production regions. Multilocus sequence analysis (MlSA) was employed for enhanced species resolution. The study identified six Bradyrhizobium species: Bradyrhizobium japonicum USDA 110, Bradyrhizobium japonicum USDA 6, Bradyrhizobium elkanii USDA 76, Bradyrhizobium neotropicale, Bradyrhizobium lablabi, and Bradyrhizobium icense. Bradyrhizobium japonicum USDA 110 predominated in the soils, displaying symbiotic preference for the Huasteca 400 v.riety. Howev.r, phylogenetic analysis didn't rev.al a clear association between strains, soil, and soybean v.riety. This research sheds light on the div.rsity of rhizobia in Mexican soybean cultiv.tion, contributing to the understanding of symbiotic relationships in soybean production systems.
