Beyond network centrality: individual-level behavioral traits for predicting information superspreaders in social media

Understanding the heterogeneous role of individuals in large-scale information spreading is essential to manage online behavior as well as its potential offline consequences. to this end, most existing studies from diverse research domains focus on the disproportionate role played by highly connected ‘hub’ ***, we demonstrate here that information superspreaders in online social media are best understood and predicted by simultaneously considering two individual-level behavioral traits: influence and susceptibility. Specifically, we derive a nonlinear network-based algorithm to quantify individuals' influence and susceptibility from multiple spreading event data. By applying the algorithm to large-scale data from twitter and Weibo, we demonstrate that individuals' estimated influence and susceptibility scores enable predictions of future superspreaders above and beyond network centrality, and reveal new insights into the network positions of the superspreaders.

the diffusion behavior of Cu and Ni atoms undergoing liquidesolid electromigration（l-S EM） was investigated using Cu/Sn/Ni interconnects under a current density of 5.0 103A/cm2 at 250℃. the flowing direction of electrons significantly influences the cross-solder interaction of Cu and Ni atoms, i.e., under downwind diffusion, both Cu and Ni atoms can diffuse to the opposite interfaces; while under upwind diffusion,Cu atoms but not Ni atoms can diffuse to the opposite interface. When electrons flow from the Cu to the Ni, only Cu atoms diffuse to the opposite anode Ni interface, resulting in the transformation of interfacial intermetallic compound（IMC） from Ni3Sn4into（Cu,Ni）6Sn5and further into [（Cu,Ni）6Sn5t Cu6Sn5], while no Ni atoms diffuse to the opposite cathode Cu interface and thus the interfacial Cu6Sn5 *** electrons flow from the Ni to the Cu, both Cu and Ni atoms diffuse to the opposite interfaces,resulting in the interfacial IMC transformation from initial Cu6Sn5into（Cu,Ni）6Sn5and further into[（Cu,Ni）6Sn5t（Ni,Cu）3Sn4] at the anode Cu interface while that from initial Ni3Sn4into（Cu,Ni）6Sn5and further into（Ni,Cu）3Sn4at the cathode Ni interface. It is more damaging with electrons flowing from the Cu to the Ni than the other way.

tungsten powder was fabricated from the system CaWO4-Mg by self-propagating high-temperature synthesis (ShS) with a magnesium thermit stage. the physic-chemical change during heating and the effects of pressure of sample and diluents (W powder) on product have been studied. the experimental results show that the porosity of combustion product and the particle size of final tungsten powder decrease with increasing pressure of sample. Addition of diluents could increase the particle size of final tungsten powder. the purity of tungsten is improved by leaching in NaOh solution. the results of spectral analysis and particle size distribution of final tungsten powder show that the final tungsten powder has a median diameter of 0.87μm,specific surface area of 1.09m2/g and purity of above 99.0%.

Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide(NADh)is a cofactor that serves to shuttle electrons during metabolic processes such as glycolysis,the tricarboxylic acid cycle,and oxidative phosphorylation(OXPhOS).NADh is autofluorescent,and itsfluorescence lifetime can be used to infer metabolic dynamics in living ***-coupled time-correlated single photon counting(tCSPC)equipped with an implantable needle probe can be used to measure NADh lifetime in vivo,enabling investigation of changing metabolic demand during muscle contraction or tissue *** study illustrates a proof of concept for point-based,minimally-invasive NADhfluorescence lifetime measurement in *** muscle loss(VMl)injuries were created in the left tibialis anterior(tA)muscle of male Sprague Dawley *** lifetime measurements were collected before,during,and after a 30 s tetanic contraction in the injured and uninjured tA muscles,which was subsequently-t to a biexponential decay model to yield a metric of NADh utilization(cytoplasmic vs protein-bound NADh,the A11/A22 ratio).On average,this ratio was higher during and after contraction in uninjured muscle compared to muscle at rest,suggesting higher levels of free NADh in contracting and recovering muscle,indicating increased rates of *** injured muscle,this ratio was higher than uninjured muscle overall but decreased over time,which is consistent with current knowledge of inflammatory response to injury,suggesting tissue regeneration has *** data suggest that-ber-coupled tCSPC has the potential to measure changes in NADh binding in vivo in a minimally invasive manner that requires further investigation.

Electrical resistance, thermal expansion, lattice constants of the intermediate valence materials, α-Ce and CeBe 13, were measured at high pressure. It is found that the Grüneisen parameters of Kondo temperature t K are 13 and 42 for α-Ce and CeBe 13, respectively, and it decreases with increasing pressure. the magnetoresistance of α-Ce shows h2 dependence and its coefficient increases with pressure below 1 GPa, but becomes nearly constant above 1 GPa. the results indicate that the intermediate valence states are enhanced at high pressure indicating the enhancement of hybridization between the 4f electron and conduction band.
