The study of the propagation of infectious diseases in urban centers finds a close connection with their population's social characteristics and *** work performs a spatial analysis of dengue cases in urban centers based on the basic reproduction numbers,R0,and incidence by planning areas(pas),as well as their correlations with the Human Development Index(HDI)and the number of *** analyzed dengue epidemics in 2002 at two Brazilian urban centers,Belo Horizonte(BH)and Rio de Janeiro(RJ),using pas as spatial *** results reveal heterogeneous spatial scenarios for both cities,with very weak correlations between R0 and both the number of trips and the HDI;in BH,the values of R0 show a less spatial heterogeneous pattern than in *** BH,there are moderate correlations between incidence and both the number of trips and the HDI;meanwhile,they weakly correlate for ***,the absence of strong correlations between the considered measures indicates that the transmission process should be treated considering the city as a whole.

purpose:To describe the development of a Compendium for estimating the energy costs of activities in adults>60 years(OA Compendium).Methods:physical activities(pas)and their metabolic equivalent of task(MET)values were obtained from a systematic search of studies published in 4 sport and exercise databases(pubMed,Embase,SpORTDiscus(EBSCOhost),and Scopus)and a review of articles included in the 2011 Adult Compendium that measured pA in older *** values were computed as the oxygen cost(VO_(2),ml/kg/min)during pA divided by 2.7 m l/kg/min(MET_(60+))to account for the lower resting metabolic rate in older ***:We identified 68 articles and extracted energy expenditure data on 427 *** these,we derived 99 unique Specific Activity codes with corresponding MET_(60+)values for older *** developed a website to present the OA Compendium MET_(60+)values:https://***:The OA Compendium uses data collected from adults>60 years for more accurate estimation of the energy cost of pas in older *** is an accessible resource that will allow researchers,educators,and practitioners to find MET_(60+)values for older adults for use in pA research and practice.

总结1例单核细胞减少与分枝杆菌感染综合征患儿的护理体会。针对患儿疾病罕见、移植高风险、预后未知等特点,采取降低有创诊疗风险等级,协助诊断、明确移植需求;居家肺部治疗联合远程康复,寻找最佳移植时机;双学科协同长程随访,优化患者预后等措施。患儿多次住院经反复穿刺活检及病理会诊,提示鸟分枝杆菌感染,pas(+),Dpas(+),GATA2基因2号外显子插入突变,确诊为单核细胞减少与分枝杆菌感染综合征合并肺泡蛋白沉积症。于2022年10月行造血干细胞移植术,术后继续抗感染治疗。随访至今,间质性病变较移植前明显改善,继续抗排异治疗,现居家学习中。

Common genetic variants in the Tp53 pathway and their impact on cancer

The Tp53 gene is well known to be the most frequently mutated gene in human *** addition to mutations,there are > 20 different coding region single-nucleotide polymorphisms (SNps) in the Tp53 gene,as well as SNps in MDM2,the negative regulator of *** of these SNps are known to alter p53 pathway *** makes p53 rather unique among cancer-critical genes,*** coding regions of other cancer-critical genes like Ha-Ras,RB,and pI3KCA do not have non-synonymous coding region SNps that alter their function in *** next frontier in p53 biology will consist of probing which of these coding region SNps are moderately or strongly pathogenic and whether they influence cancer risk and the efficacy of cancer *** challenge after that will consist of determining whether we can tailor chemotherapy to correct the defects for each ofthese *** we review the SNps in Tp53 and MDM2 that show the most significant impact on cancer and other *** also propose avenues for how this information can be used to better inform personalized medicine approaches to cancer and other diseases.

inverse Class-AB模式可以使功率放大器得到更好的性能,但是传统的教科书中并没有这种模式的理论分析因此有必要从理论上对inverse Class-AB模式进行分析。通过对输出波形傅里叶函数的研究可以得到最大输出电压摆幅以及计算最大功率。通过Volterra序列分析法以out-of-band抵消技术我们分析这种模式功率放大器的非线性。最后我们进行了大量的仿真以验证所提出的理论。

Impact of grain size,pr3+ concentration and host composition on non-contact temperature sensing abilities of polyphosphate nano- and microcrystals

Biceps femoris long head sarcomere and fascicle length adaptations after 3 weeks of eccentric exercise training

Background:Eccentric exercise increases muscle fascicle lengths;however,the mechanisms behind this adaptation are still *** study aimed to determine whether biceps femoris long head(BFlh)fascicle length increases in response to 3 weeks of eccentric exercise training are the result of an in-series addition of sarcomeres within the muscle ***:Ten recreationally active participants(age=27±3 years;mass=70±14 kg;height=174±9 cm;mean±SD)completed 3 weeks of Nordic hamstring exercise(NHE)training on a custom exercise device that was instrumented with load *** collected in vivo sarcomere and muscle fascicle images of the BFlh in 2 regions(central and distal)by using microendoscopy and 3 dimension *** then estimated sarcomere length,sarcomere number,and fascicle length before and after the training ***:Eccentric knee flexion strength increased after the training(15%;pp)^(2)=0.75).Further,we found a significant increase in fascicle length(21%;pp)^(2)=0.81)and sarcomere length(17%;pp2=0.90)in the distal but not in the central portion of the *** estimated number of sarcomeres in series did not change in either ***:Fascicle length adaptations appear to be heterogeneous in the BFlh in response to 3 weeks of NHE *** increase in sarcomere length,rather than the addition of sarcomeres in series,appears to underlie increases in fascicle length in the distal region of the *** mechanism driving regional increases in fascicle and sarcomere length remains unknown,but we speculate that it may be driven by regional changes in the pas sive tension of muscle or connective tis sue adaptations.

Ameliorative Effect of Ginsenoside RT-5 on CDDp-Induced Nephrotoxicity

The aim of this study is to explore whether RT-5, one novel active ginsenosides from Ginseng, has protective effects against cisplatin（CDDp）-induced nephrotoxicity in vivo. One model of acute renal failure induced by CDDp in rats and one model of xenograft tumors of human cervical cancer in nude mice are established. Four groups are assigned： control, CDDp, RT-5, CDDp plus RT-5, in which the RT-5 is administered via oral gavage 24 h before CDDp intraperitoneal injection. The significant increase in blood urea nitrogen and creatinine are induced by CDDp treatment at 6 mg/kg, which are attenuated by pre-treated with RT-5 at 10 mg/kg. RT-5 could ameliorate CDDp-induced morphological damages in kidney by pas staining, and reduce tubular apoptosis evaluated by TUNEl staining. pretreatment with RT-5 notably inhibits CDDp-induced oxidative stress in kidney tissues. Interestingly, RT-5 does not interfere with the in vivo anti-cancer effects of CDDp against the growth of xenograft tumors in nude mice. These data suggest that co-treatment RT-5 with CDDp might attenuate the following nephrotoxicity without inhibiting its anti-tumor efficiency, which could provide one novel strategy for cancer treatment in clinics.
