Indian agriculture is striving to achieve sustainable intensification,the system aiming to increase agricultural yield per unit area without harming natural resources and the *** farming employs technology to improve *** and accurate analysis and diagnosis of plant disease is very helpful in reducing plant diseases and improving plant health and food crop *** disease experts are not available in remote areas thus there is a requirement of automatic low-cost,approachable and reliable solutions to identify the plant diseases without the laboratory inspection and expert’s *** learning-based computer vision techniques like Convolutional neural network(Cnn)and traditional machine learning-based image classification approaches are being applied to identify plant *** this paper,the Cnn model is proposed for the classification of rice and potato plant leaf *** leaves are diagnosed with bacterial blight,blast,brown spot and tungro *** leaf images are classified into three classes:healthy leaves,early blight and late blight *** leaf dataset with 5932 images and 1500 potato leaf images are used in the *** proposed Cnn model was able to learn hidden patterns from the raw images and classify rice images with 99.58%accuracy and potato leaves with 97.66%*** results demonstrate that the proposed Cnn model performed better when compared with other machine learning image classifiers such as Support Vector Machine(SVM),K-nearest neighbors(Knn),Decision Tree and Random Forest.

nonlinear-Optical Analogies in nuclear-like Soliton Reactions:Selection Rules,nonlinear Tunneling and Sub-Barrier Fusion–Fission

The main goal of our study is to reveal unexpected but intriguing analogies arising between optical solitons and nuclear physics,which still remain hidden from *** consider the main cornerstones of the concept of nonlinear optics of nuclear reactions and the well-dressed repulsive-core *** the base of this model,we reveal the most intriguing properties of the nonlinear tunneling of nucleus-like solitons and the soliton selfinduced sub-barrier transparency *** describe novel interesting and stimulating analogies between the interaction of nucleus-like solitons on the repulsive barrier and nuclear sub-barrier *** main finding of this study concerns the conservation of total number of nucleons(or the baryon number)in nuclear-like soliton *** show that inelastic interactions among well-dressed repulsive-core solitons arise only when a“cloud”of“dressing”spectral side-bands appears in the frequency spectra of the *** property of nucleus-like solitons is directly related to the nuclear density distribution described by the dimensionless small shape-squareness *** the Fourier spectra of nucleus-like solitons are similar to the nuclear form *** show that the nuclear-like reactions between well-dressed solitons are realized by“exchange”between“particle-like”side bands in their spectra.

The capture and fission analysis of heavy ion induced fusion reactions leading to the formation of Z=107-111 superheavy nuclei has been carried *** have been made to analyze the synthesis traits,such as excitation functions,formation probabilities,barrier characteristics *** l-summed Wong model provides a decent description of available data on capture(σCap)and fusion-fission(σff)cross-sections and hence is exploited to make relevant predictions for future *** capture and fusion-fission excitation functions are predicted for the least explored region of superheavy nuclei(SHn)i.e.Z=*** role of massasymmetry(η),Coulomb factor(ZPZT)deformation and orientations,Businari-Gallone massasymmetry(αBG)fission barrier(Bf)etc is duly *** present study concludes that the mass-asymmetric reactions involving 24Mg,30Si,and 36S projectiles are preferred for the synthesis of unknown isotopes of Z=***,the doubly magic 48Ca-projectile also provides a competing alternative to produce neutron-rich isotopes of the abovementioned SHn.

The fortuitously discovered liver lesion is a common problem. Consensus might be expected in terms of its work-up, and yet there is none. This stems in part from the fact that there is no preventive campaign involving the early detection of liver tumors other than for patients with known liver cirrhosis and oncological patients. The work-up (detection and differential diagnosis) of liver tumors comprises theoretical considerations, history, physical examination, laboratory tests, standard ultrasound, Doppler ultrasound techniques, contrastenhanced ultrasound (CEUS), computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging, as well as imageguided biopsy. CEUS techniques have proved to be the most pertinent method; these techniques became part of the clinical routine about 10 years ago in Europe and Asia and are used for a variety of indications in daily clinical practice. CEUS is in many cases the first and also decisive technical intervention for detecting and characterizing liver tumors. This development is reflected in many CEUS guidelines, e.g. , in the European Federation of Societies for Ultrasound in Medicine and Biology (EFSUMB) guidelines 2004, 2008 and 2012 as well as the recently published World Federation for Ultrasound in Medicine and Biology-EFSUMB guidelines 2012. This article sets out considerations for making a structured work-up of incidental liver tumors feasible.

On The Role of Preparative Parameters in Growing nanocrystalline PbS Thin Films by liquid Phase Chemical Bath Deposition

A liquid phase chemical bath deposition(lPCBD)method for deposition of PbS thin films is *** growth kinetics and reaction mechanism have been *** the deposition,triethanolamine complex of lead acetate was allowed to react with aqueous thiourea *** micro-slides were used as the *** deposition of PbS films was carried out under different growth parameters such as temperature,time,and reaction *** growth rate,under different conditions,was measured in terms of a terminal layer thickness and the possible reaction kinetics and mechanism is *** optimum values of the parameters to produce good quality films are 60 min,80℃and 10.5±*** EDS analysis showed that the film stoichiometry is dependent on the reaction pH and the films tend to be almost stoichiometric in high alkaline environment(>10.5).The PbS deposits appeared smooth,tightly adherent,uniform and reflecting with blackish-grey *** XRD studies showed crystalline cubic type of structure with preferred orientation along(200)*** calculated d-values,intensities of reflections and lattice parameter have excellent match with that of the JCPD *** crystallite size is found to be few tens of *** surface morphology revealed by SEM showed that the crystallites are randomly oriented and are of different shapes and *** of the crystallites appeared smaller and spherical in shape whereas,growth of some elongated irregular crystallites;bit larger in size and differing in shapes,have also been favoured.

Optical and Microstructural Characterisations of Pulsed rf Magnetron Sputtered Alumina Thin Film

Alumina thin films were deposited on fused quartz and SS304 substrate by pulsed rf magnetron sputtering with both direct and reactive methods. The films were characterised by energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, field emission scanning electron microscopy and atomic force microscopy to reveal the microstructure, surface morphology and topography of thin films. Transmittance and reflectance of alumina thin film were evaluated after deposition on the quartz substrate. Transmittance of the quartz remains almost un-altered when alumina was deposited by the reactive sputtering. A marginal decrease of ~4% in the transmittance of quartz was, however, observed after deposition of alumina by direct sputtering. Infrared emittance of the substrate also remains almost constant after deposition of thin alumina film. Further, as-deposited alumina on SS304 obtained by both direct and reactive sputtering process was amorphous in nature. However, after annealing crystalline peaks were observed.

Tourism versus nature conservation: reconciliation of common interests and objectives——an analysis through Picos de Europa national Park

nature tourism and particularly tourism in national parks have acquired significant importance in contemporary societies. Post-Fordist consumers have reevaluated the meanings of ‘nature' and ‘natural spaces' and now avoid standardization to seek singularity. Tourism in national parks is a consequence of this tendency and has both positive and negative aspects. The purpose of this sociological research is to describe the most relevant conflicts in the Picos de Europa national Park(Spain) involving the park's conservation, local economic development,and tourism. Seven in-depth interviews and three focus groups were addressed to key local *** this research were identified three chief areas of existing or potential inter-related conflicts and the main actors interacting with them. The first is on population, particularly, the negative consequences of depopulations on the local socio-economic development and the environment. A second source of conflicts identified is caused by the difficult conciliation between commercial exploitation and conservation of the protected natural area. More precisely, this specific form of tourism positively contributes to the economy of local communities whilst problems can arise for the conservation goals of national Parks. Thirdly, in this research is also analyzed the institutional governance and the inter and intra-governmental conflicts as well as with the Park's management body. These findings provide important information for the improved management of tourism and conflicting interests in natural parks.
