Ozonolysis of ketoprofen in polluted water:Reaction pathways,kinetics,removal efficiency,and health effects

Associations between food insecurity with gestational diabetes mellitus and maternal outcomes mediated by dietary diversity:A cross-sectional study

BACkGROUND Food insecurity(FI)during pregnancy negatively impacts maternal health and raises the risk of gestational diabetes mellitus(GDM)and pregnancy-induced hypertension(PIH),resulting in adverse outcomes for both mother and *** To investigate the relationships between FI and pregnancy outcomes,particularly GDM and PIH,while also examining the mediating role of the dietary diversity score(DDS).METHODS A cross-sectional study was undertaken to examine this relationship,involving 600 pregnant *** were women aged 18 years or older who provided complete data on FI and pregnancy *** FI was measured via the Household Food Security Survey Module,with GDM defined as fasting plasma glucose levels of≥5.1 mmol/l or a 2-hour oral glucose tolerance test value of≥8.5 mmol/*** DDS is determined by evaluating one's food consumption based on nine distinct food groups.A logistic regression model was used to explore the relationship between FI and PIH,and *** Seventeen percent of participants reported experiencing FI during *** study found a significant association between FI and an elevated risk of GDM[odds ratio(OR)=3.32,95%CI:1.2-5.4].Once more,food-insecure pregnant women had higher rates of PIH(OR=0.10,95%CI:0.02-0.45)and they also faced a higher l.k.lihood of neonatal complications,such as neonatal intensive care unit’s admissions and the birth of infants with extremely low birth *** FI wasfurther linked to metabolic disruptions,such as elevated fasting blood sugar(FBS),low-density lipoprotein cholesterol,and triglyceride *** results indicate that the DDS acts as a significant mediator in the relationship between FI and the incidence of *** particular,the mediation analysis showed that approximately 65%of the effect was mediated through DDS(P=0.002).CONClUSION These findings underscore the serious challenges that FI presents during pregnancy and its effects on maternal and infant ***,the study

Oxalate modification enabled advanced phosphate removal of nZVI:In Situ formed surface ternary complex and altered multi-stage adsorption process

Nano zero-valent iron(nZVI)is a promising phosphate adsorbent for advanced phosphate ***,the rapid passivation of nZVI and the low activity of adsorption sites seriously limit its phosphate removal performance,accounting for its inapplicability to meet the emission criteria of 0.1 mg P/l *** this study,we report that the oxalate modification can inhibit the passivation of nZVI and alter the multi-stage phosphate adsorption mechanism by changing the adsorption *** expected,the stronger antipassivation ability of oxalate modified nZVI(OX-nZVI)strongly favored its phosphate ***,the oxalate modification endowed the surface Fe(III)sites with the lowest chemisorption energy and the fastest phosphate adsorption ability than the other adsorption sites,by in situ forming a Fe(III)-phosphate-oxalate ternary complex,therefore enabling an advanced phosphate removal *** an initial phosphate concentration of 1.00 mg P/l,pH of 6.0 and a dosage of 0.3 g/l of adsorbents,OX-nZVI exhibited faster phosphate removal rate(0.11 g/mg/min)and lower residual phosphate level(0.02 mg P/l)than nZVI(0.055 g/mg/min and 0.19 mg P/l).This study sheds light on the importance of site manipulation in the development of high-performance adsorbents,and offers a facile surface modification strategy to prepare superior iron-basedmaterials for advanced phosphate removal.

In this paper, the problem of cubature kalman fusion filtering(CkFF) is addressed for multi-sensor systems under amplify-and-forward(AaF) relays. For the purpose of facilitating data transmission, AaF relays are utilized to regulate signal communication between sensors and filters. Here, the randomly varying channel parameters are represented by a set of stochastic variables whose occurring probabilities are permitted to exhibit bounded uncertainty. Employing the spherical-radial cubature principle, a local filter under AaF relays is initially constructed. This construction ensures and minimizes an upper bound of the filtering error covariance by designing an appropriate filter gain. Subsequently, the local filters are fused through the application of the covariance intersection fusion rule. Furthermore, the uniform boundedness of the filtering error covariance's upper bound is investigated through establishing certain sufficient conditions. The effectiveness of the proposed CkFF scheme is ultimately validated via a simulation experiment concentrating on a three-phase induction machine.

Boosting bidirectional sulfur conversion enabled by introducing boron-doped atoms and phosphorus vacancies in Ni_(2)P for lithium-sulfur batteries

lithium-sulfur (li-S) batteries have gained great attention due to the high theoretical energy density and low cost,yet their further commercialization has been obstructed by the notorious shuttle effect and sluggish redox ***,we supply a strategy to optimize the electron structure of Ni_(2)P by concurrently introducing B-doped atoms and P vacancies in Ni_(2)P (Vp-B-Ni_(2)P),thereby enhancing the bidirectional sulfur *** study indicates that the simultaneous introduction of B-doped atoms and P vacancies in Ni_(2)P causes the redistribution of electron around Ni atoms,bringing about the upward shift of d-band center of Ni atoms and effective d-p orbital hybridization between Ni atoms and sulfur species,thus strengthening the chemical anchoring for lithium polysulfides (liPSs) as well as expediting the bidirectional conversion kinetics of sulfur ***,theoretical calculations reveal that the incorporation of B-doped atoms and P vacancies in Ni_(2)P selectively promotes li2S dissolution and nucleation ***,the li-S batteries with Vp-B-Ni_(2)P-separators present outstanding rate ability of 777 m A h g^(-1)at 5 C and high areal capacity of 8.03 mA h cm^(-2)under E/S of 5μl mg^(-1)and sulfur loading of 7.20 mg cm^(-2).This work elucidates that introducing heteroatom and vacancy in metal phosphide collaboratively regulates the electron structure to accelerate bidirectional sulfur conversion.

An efficient and accurate numerical method for simulating close-range blast loads of cylindrical charges based on neural network

linear Forgery Attacks on the Authenticated Encryption Cipher ACORN-like

The authenticated encryption stream cipher ACORN is one of the finalists of the Competition for Authenticated Encryption: Security, Applicability, and Robustness（CAESAR） and is intended for lightweight applications. Because of structural weaknesses in the state update function of ACORN, we can introduce a linear function to analyze conditions and differential trails of the state collision and present a linear method to construct forgery messages under the condition that the key and initialization vector are known or the register state at a certain time is known. The attack method is suitable for three versions of ACORN and may be also extended to any ACORN-like,of which the linear feedback shift register（lFSR） can be replaced by other lFSRs and the feedback function can be replaced by other nonlinear functions. For continuous l（l > 293） bits of new input data, we can construct 2l-294forgery messages for any given message of ACORN. Using a standard personal computer, a concrete forgery message can be constructed almost instantly and the required central processing unit time and memory are equivalent to the required resources for solving a system of 293 linear equations over the binary field. These attacks in this paper make that the sender and receiver may easily cheat each other, which is not a desirable property for an ideal cipher and casts some doubt on the necessary authentication security requirements of ACORN.
