In this work we study properties of five identities of Bol-Moufang type (1), which had received little or no attention. We establish a necessary and sufficient condition for a right alternative loop to be an RC-loop. A corollary to this is the condition for a Bol loop to be an RC-loop. some properties of a generalization of RC-loops are discussed. We also state the connection of the supernucleus M(G) of a loop G with various nucleii of loops which do not have the inverse property. finally, we give some constructions of non-associative RC-loops of order 4n, where n is a positive even integer, which are not Bol loops.

In gliomas, the canonical Wingless/Int（WNT）/b-catenin pathway is increased while peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor gamma（PPAR-c） is *** two systems act in an opposite manner. This review focuses on the interplay between WNT/b-catenin signaling and PPAR-c and their metabolic implications as potential therapeutic target in gliomas. Activation of the WNT/bcatenin pathway stimulates the transcription of genes involved in proliferation, invasion, nucleotide synthesis,tumor growth, and angiogenesis. Activation of PPAR-c agonists inhibits various signaling pathways such as the JAK/sTAT, WNT/b-catenin, and PI3 K/Akt pathways,which reduces tumor growth, cell proliferation, cell invasiveness, and angiogenesis. Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, curcumin, antipsychotic drugs, adiponectin,and sulforaphane downregulate the WNT/b-catenin pathway through the upregulation of PPAR-c and thus appear to provide an interesting therapeutic approach for ***（TMZ） is an antiangiogenic agent. The downstream action of this opposite interplay may explain the TMZ-resistance often reported in gliomas.

lidar has been used extensively in the area of atmospheric aerosol *** unknowns at the reference altitude,the lidar ratio and the backscatter coefficient,need to be resolved from the lidar *** the actual application,these two values are difficult to obtain,particularly the backscatter *** better characterize the optical properties of aerosols,optical thickness,and attenuated backscatter obtained by other instruments are usually used as the input for joint ***,this method is limited by location and *** this study,the authors propose a new method for aerosol retrieval by using Mie scattering lidar data to solve this *** authors take the horizontal aerosol extinction coefficient as the constraint to begin the iteration until a self-consistent aerosol vertical profile was *** comparing their results with Aerosol Robotic Network(AERoNET) data,the authours determine that the aerosol extinction coefficient obtained by combining horizontal and vertical lidar observations is more precise than that obtained by using the traditional fernald *** new method has been adopted for retrieving the extinction coefficient of aerosols during the observation days.

Phacoemulsification is the main gold standard for cataract operation in the developed world together with foldable intraocular lens(Iol) implantation by injection,allowing for stable wound construction and less postoperative astigmatism. It is a safe procedure with high success rate with the advancement in machines,improvement of Iol injection systems and further maturation of surgeons’ techniques. Despite the large number of operations performed every day, foldable Iol injection leading to an intra-stromal corneal track is a very rare complication. We report a case of this unusual finding in a 70-year-old gentleman who has undergone cataract operation in November 2011 in our hospital and will review on the complications related to foldable Iol injection.

signals used for species identity ought to be highly stereotyped so as to facilitate immediate recognition by conspecifics. It is surprising therefore to find variability in putative species signature displays. The brown anole Anolis sagrei has a high degree of variability in its signature bobbing display. In this study we collected descriptive data on variability in the temporal structure of wild brown anole bobbing patterns, finding that no two displays analyzed had the same temporal structure, and we also tested whether wild brown anoles prefer the signature display over an alternate display pattern by using mechanical robot playbacks in the field. As a response metric we assessed whether or not the lizards showed social responses （pushup, dewlap extension, or head-nod） in response to the robotic presentations. We found that the lizards responded slightly more to the signature than to the alternate pattern, providing support for the idea that despite the variability seen in displays, the signature pattern is meaningful to them. We tested two other independent variables： speed of the display and elevation of the robot during its display, neither of which was significant. Dewlap extensions were given predominantly by adult males and were more likely to be given in the breeding season than the nonbreeding season. Pushups and head-nods were given equally by males and a combined class of females and juveniles, and were not seasonal. Head-nods increased after the robot turned off, suggesting that they may be used in a conversational turn-taking style during communication .

The sugarcane borer, Diatraea saccharalis （E）, is a major maize borer pest and a target of transgenic maize expressing Bacillus thuringiensis （Bt） proteins in south America and the mid-southern region of the United states. Evolution of resistance in target pest populations is a great threat to the long-term efficacy of Bt crops. In this study, we compared the genetic basis of resistance to CrylAb protein in 3 resistant colonies of sugarcane borer established from field populations in louisiana, UsA. Responses of larvae to the CrylAb protein for the parental and 10 other cross colonies were assayed in a diet-incorporated bioassay. All 3 resistant colonies were highly resistant to the CrylAb protein with a resistance ratio of 〉 5 5 5.6 fold. No maternal effect or sex linkage was evident for the resistance in the 3 colonies; and the resistance was functionally nonrecessive at the CrylAb concentrations of 〈 3.16 μg/g, but it became recessive at 〉10μg/g. In an interstrain complementation test for allelism, the fl progeny from crosses between any 2 of the 3 resistant colonies exhibited the similar resistance levels as their parental colonies, indicating that the 3 colonies most likely shared a locus of CrylAb resistance. Results generated from this study should provide useful information in developing effective strategies for managing Bt resistance in the insect.
