The use of biochar can have several effects on plant germ.nation,depending on raw m.terial,preparation m.thod and application ***,the m.lecular m.chanism. that lead to those results have yet to be *** aim.of this research was to im.rove the understanding of these m.chanism. by characterizing the m.tabolic effects of sugarcane bagasse biochar on soybean *** types of biochars were prepared by pyrolysis at 300℃(SCB300),400℃(SCB400)and 600℃(SCB600).Then,each one was m.xed into sand at 1%,3%,5%(w/w)dose,*** experim.nt was perform.d in 8 days of incubation,when the num.er of germ.nated seeds and the average radicle length were *** evaluate the m.tabolom.,the dry biom.ss(DB)was subjected to extraction with a m.xture of m.thanol-d4 and D2O(1:1 v/v).The extracts were subm.tted to m.tabolom.cs analysis by Proton Nuclear m.gnetic *** Relative Germ.nation,Relative Average Radicle Growth and Germ.nation Index increased in all treatm.nts com.ared to *** the other hand,the DB increased in all treatm.nts,except for SCB300,at doses of 1%and 3%w/*** m.tabolites(alanine,asparagine,acetic acid,citric acid,glycerol,fatty acids and sucrose)were identified and quantified in DB extracts as the m.st influential finding for the separation of *** together,these results strongly suggested that biochars accelerated the catabolism.of triacylglycerols to sucrose and induced a slight osm.tic stress.

An experim.nt was conducted to determ.ne the standardized ileal digestible (SID) calcium.requirem.nt of fast-growing broilers from.hatch to d 14 *** 308 (n=360) m.le broilers were obtained on day of hatch and allocated to 1 of 5 treatm.nts in battery *** were 6 birds per cage and 12 pens per *** treatm.nts were form.lated to contain 0.60%,0.46%,0.32% or 0.18% SID *** final treatm.nt was form.lated using total Ca to m.et or exceed all nutrient requirem.nts,including 0.90% total Ca and 0.49% non-phytate P (nPP),using the sam. *** treatm.nt was the reference diet for com.arison and validation of the SID Ca *** and feed were weighed at placem.nt and on d *** and ileal contents were obtained on d 14 and excreta was collected per pen and pooled on d *** were analyzed using Jm. Phlogopite solid-solutions have a wide pressure-tem.erature(P-T)stability field and are ubiquitous in a wide variety of geological settings,from.deep lithosphere m.gm.tic environm.nts to upper crust m.tam.rphic *** com.osition represents therefore a valuable physical-chem.cal archive and m.y provide im.ortant inform.tion regarding its crystallization and the petrogenesis of the *** this paper we exam.ne the phlogopite phenocrysts from.the well-known Fort Regent m.ca-bearing lam.rophyre m.nette from.***(Island of Jersey,UK).Phlogopite phenocrystals from.lam.rophyres generally show norm.l-step and continuous com.ositional zoning,however those from.the Fort Regent m.nette show a peculiar texture characterized by dark brown high-Ti(average TiO_(2)≈8.5 wt.%)cores enveloped by euhedral low-to m.d-am.litude zonation due to oscillatory contents in Ti,Fe and ***-barom.try m.delling based on biotite-only com.osition yields relatively high P-T estim.tes(T≈970±54℃at P≈0.73±0.13 GPa)for cores whereas lower values(T≈790±54℃at P≈0.29±0.13 GPa)are obtained for the outer *** tem.eratures(T≈1075±54℃)but extrem.ly high and anom.lous pressure values(P≈1.82±0.13 GPa)are obtained for the yellowish inner *** com.ination of electron m.cro probe(Em.)analysis and single-crystal infra-red(FTIR)im.ging in the OH-stretching region shows that the exceptional and oscillatory Ti contents are due to the Ti-vacancy substitution,typical of crystallization and growth processes of HP/HT *** im.ging provides additional insight for this process,confirm.ng the dom.nant dioctahedral nature for the Ti-Fe-rich cores and outer *** of therm.baric estim.tes obtained from.the phlogopite com.ositiononly m.del,based on the fine-scale com.ositional evolution,shows that pressure-tem.erature values from.low-Ti high-m. dom.ins should be carefully evaluated because the substitution m.chanism. during the dark m.ca growth are not univocal

Background Extracellular vesicles(EVs) present in oviductal(OF) and uterine fluid(UF) have been shown to enhance bovine em.ryo quality during in vitro culture by reducing lipid contents and m.dulating lipid m.tabolism.related genes(lm.s), while also influencing cell proliferation, suggesting their involvem.nt on the regulation of different biological pathways. The regulation of signaling pathways related to cell differentiation, proliferation, and m.tabo-lism.is crucial for early em.ryo developm.nt and can determ.ne the success or failure of the pregnancy. Bioactive m.lecules within EVs in m.ternal reproductive fluids, such as m.cro RNAs(m.RNAs), m.y contribute to this regulatory process as they m.dulate gene expression through post-transcriptional *** This study evaluated m.RNA cargo in OF-EVs from.the early luteal phase and UF-EVs from.the m.d-luteal phase, coinciding with em.ryo transit within oviduct and uterus in vivo, and its possible influence on lm.s and sign-aling pathways crucial for early em.ryo developm.nt. A total of 333 m.RNAs were detected, with 11 exclusive to OF, 59 to UF, and 263 were com.on between both groups. From.the 20 differentially expressed m.RNAs, 19 up-regulated in UF-EVs(bta-m.R-134, bta-m.R-151-3p, bta-m.R-155, bta-m.R-188, bta-m.R-181b, bta-m.R-181d, bta-m.R-224, bta-m.R-23b-3p, bta-m.R-24-3p, bta-m.R-27a-3p, bta-m.R-29a, bta-m.R-324, bta-m.R-326, bta-m.R-345-3p, bta-m.R-410, bta-m.R-652, bta-m.R-677, bta-m.R-873 and bta-m.R-708) and one(bta-m.R-148b) in OF-EVs. These m.RNAs were predicted to m.dulate several pathways such as Wnt, Hippo, m.PK, and lipid m.tabolism.and degradation. Decision-m.king and m.nagem.nt of Self-Care in Persons with Traum.tic Spinal Cord Injuries: A Prelim.nary Study

Patients and physicians understand the im.ortance of self-care following spinal cord injury (SCI), yet m.ny individuals with SCI do not adhere to recom.ended self-care activities despite logistical supports. Neurobehavioral determ.nants of SCI self-care behavior, such as im.ulsivity, are not widely studied, yet understanding them.could inform.efforts to im.rove SCI self-care. We explored associations between im.ulsivity and self-care in an observational study of 35 US adults age 18 - 50 who had traum.tic SCI with paraplegia at least six m.nths before assessm.nt. The prim.ry outcom. m.asure was self-reported self-care. In lASSO regression m.dels that included all neurobehavioral m.asures and dem.graphics as predictors of self-care, dispositional m.asures of greater im.ulsivity (negative urgency, lack of prem.ditation, lack of perseverance), and reduced m.ndfulness were associated with reduced self-care. Outcom. (m.gnitude) sensitivity, a latent decision-m.king param.ter derived from.com.utationally m.deling successive choices in a gam.ling task, was also associated with self-care behavior. These results are prelim.nary;m.re research is needed to dem.nstrate the utility of these findings in clinical settings. Inform.tion about associations between im.ulsivity and poor self-care in people with SCI could guide the developm.nt of interventions to im.rove SCI self-care and help patients with elevated risks related to self-care and secondary health conditions.

In this study,a calcium.phosphate coating was form.d on a m.-m.-Ce alloy by the plasm. electrolytic oxidation(PEO).The antibiotic vancom.cin,widely used in the treatm.nt of infections caused by Staphylococcus aureus(***),was im.regnated into the *** with vancom.cin showed high bactericidal activity against *** m.chanical and electrochem.cal properties of the form.d coatings were studied,as well as in vitro cytotoxicity tests and in vivo tests on m.ture m.le rats were *** to SEm.EDS,XRD and XPS data,coatings had a developed m.rphology and contained hydroxyapatite,which indicates high *** analysis of roughness of coatings without and with vancom.cin did not reveal any differences,confirm.ng the high roughness of the *** electrochem.cal tests,an increase in corrosion resistance by m.re than two tim.s after the application of PEO coatings was *** to the results of an in vivo study,after 28 days of the im.lantation of sam.les with calcium.phosphate PEO coating and vancom.cin,no signs of inflam.ation were observed,while an inflam.atory reaction developed in the area of im.lantation of bare alloy,followed by *** release tests from.the coatings show a sharp decrease in the concentration of the released antibiotic on day 7 and then a gradual decrease until day *** the experim.nt,no significant deviations in the condition and behavior of the anim.ls were observed;clinical tests did not reveal a system.c toxic reaction.

The joint European Space Agency and Chinese Academ. of Sciences Solar wind m.gnetosphere Ionosphere link Explorer(Sm.lE)m.ssion will explore global dynam.cs of the m.gnetosphere under varying solar wind and interplanetary m.gnetic field conditions,and sim.ltaneously m.nitor the auroral response of the Northern Hem.sphere *** these large-scale responses with m.dium.and fine-scale m.asurem.nts at a variety of cadences by additional ground-based and space-based instrum.nts will.enable a m.ch greater scientific im.act beyond the original goals of the Sm.lE ***,we describe current com.unity efforts to prepare for Sm.lE,and the benefits and context various experim.nts that have explicitly expressed support for Sm.lE can offer.A dedicated group of international scientists representing m.ny different experim.nt types and geographical locations,the Ground-based and Additional Science Working Group,is facilitating these *** include constructing an online Sm.lE Data Fusion Facility,the discussion of particular or special m.des for experim.nts such as coherent and incoherent scatter radar,and the consideration of particular observing strategies and spacecraft *** anticipate growing interest and com.unity engagem.nt with the Sm.lE m.ssion,and we welcom. novel ideas and insights from.the solar-terrestrial com.unity.
