Adaptive data fusion framework for modeling of non-uniform aerodynamic data

Multi-fidelity Data Fusion(MDF)frameworks have emerged as a prominent approach to producing economical but accurate surrogate models for aerodynamic data modeling by integrating data with different fidelity ***,most existing MDF frameworks assume a uniform data structure between sampling data sources;thus,producing an accurate solution at the required level,for cases of non-uniform data structures is *** address this challenge,an Adaptive Multi-fidelity Data Fusion(AMDF)framework is proposed to produce a composite surrogate model which can efficiently model multi-fidelity data featuring non-uniform ***,the design space of the input data with non-uniform data structures is decomposed into subdomains containing simplified ***,different MDF frameworks and a rule-based selection process are adopted to construct multiple local models for the subdomain *** the other hand,the Enhanced local Fidelity Modeling(ElFM)method is proposed to combine the generated local models into a unique and continuous global ***,the resulting model inherits the features of local models and approximates a complete database for the whole design *** validation of the proposed framework is performed to demonstrate its approximation capabilities in(A)four multi-dimensional analytical problems and(B)a practical engineering case study of constructing an F16C fighter aircraft’s aerodynamic *** comparisons of the generated models using the proposed AMDF framework and conventional MDF approaches using a single global modeling algorithm are performed to reveal the adaptability of the proposed approach for fusing multi-fidelity data featuring non-uniform ***,the results indicated that the proposed framework outperforms the state-of-the-art MDF approach in the cases of non-uniform data.

Homogenization is a promising approach to capture the behavior of complex structures like corrugated panels. It enables us to replace high-cost shell models with stiffness-equivalent orthotropic plate alternatives. Many homogenization models for corrugated panels of different shapes have been proposed. However, there is a lack of investigations for verifying their accuracy and reliability. In addition, in the recent trend of development of smoothed finite element methods, the cell-based smoothed three-node Mindlin plate element (CS-MIN3) based on the first-order shear deformation theory (FSDT) has been proposed and successfully applied to many analyses of plate and shell structures. Thus, this paper further extends the CS-MIN3 by integrating itself with homogenization models to give homogenization methods. In these methods, the equivalent extensional, bending, and transverse shear stiftriess components which constitute the equivalent orthotropic plate models are represented in explicit analytical expressions. Using the results of ANSYS and ABAQUS shell simulations as references, some numerical examples are conducted to verify the accuracy and reliability of the homogenization methods for static analyses of trapezoidally and sinusoidally corrugated panels.

This study demonstrates the influence of the Ag^(+)/PO_(4)^(3-)ratio in precursor solution on the crystal structural formation,morphology,physical properties,and photocatalytic performance of a Ag_(3)PO_(4)photocatalyst that is fabricated,using a facile precipitation method,from AgNO_(3)and Na2HPO_(4)·12H_(2)*** material characterizations were carried out using x-ray diffraction(XRD),scanning electron microscopy(SEM),energy-dispersive x-ray spectroscopy(EDX),Brunauer–Emmett–Teller(BET)surface area,Fourier transform infrared(FTIR)absorption,Raman scattering,x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS),Uv-vis absorption,and photoluminescence(Pl).The results show that Ag_(3)PO_(4)crystallizes better when the excess PO_(4)^(3-)content increases,and the lattice parameters decrease slightly,while the crystal diameter and the particle size *** change is also observed in the Raman scattering and FTIR spectra with the increase in the vibration frequency of the[PO_(4)]*** compression of the[PO_(4)]unit was also confirmed in the XPS spectra with the shift of P 2p peaks toward higher binding *** photocatalytic results showed that the samples synthesized from excess PO_(4)^(3-)solution exhibited higher photocatalytic performance compared to the sample with a Ag^(+)/PO_(4)^(3-)ratio of 3:1.A sample prepared from the precursor solution with a Ag^(+)/PO_(4)^(3-)ratio of 3:1.5 was optimal for RhB decomposition under both visible light and natural sunlight,completely decomposing 10 ppm RhB after 15 minutes of xenon lamp irradiation and after 60 minutes under solar light *** is attributed to the high crystallinity,small particle size and low electron–hole recombination rate of the sample.

Energy hub modeling to minimize residential energy costs considering solar energy and BESS

This paper aims to optimize total energy costs in an operational model of a novel energy hub(EH) in a residential area. The optimization problem is set up based on daily load demand(such as electricity, heat, and cooling) and time-of-use(TOU) energy prices. The extended EH model considers the involvement of solar photovoltaic(Pv) generation, solar heat exchanger(SHE), and a battery energy storage system(BESS). A mathematical model is constructed with the objective of optimizing total energy cost during the day, including some constraints such as input-output energy balance of the EH, electricity price,capacity limitation of the system, and charge/discharge power of BESS. Four operational cases based on different EH structures are compared to assess the effect of solar energy applications and BESS on the operational efficiency. The results show that the proposed model predicts significant changes to the characteristics of electricity and gas power bought from utilities, leading to reduced total energy cost compared to other cases. They also indicate that the model is appropriate for the characteristics of residential loads.

Small cell lung cancer(SClC)is a common type of primary lung cancer that contributes to approximately 15%of *** is closely associated with tobacco risk *** is also known as a type of lung cancer that has a high mortality rate within a short time due to its rapid growth rate(with tumor doubling time of 30 days)and its tendency to metastasize early in the disease *** primary sites of metastasis in SClC are similar to those in other primary lung cancers and often include the brain,bones,adrenal glands,liver,and lymph ***,there are a few clinical reports of uncommon metastases,such as gastric metastasis from *** the incidence of this clinical presentation is very low,reported cases have generally resulted in early mortality due to inadequate *** purpose of this letter is to discuss the knowledge related to gastric metastasis from SClC and remind clinical doctors not to miss atypical symptoms,thereby providing the right attitude to improve the prognosis for these patients.

20-Hydroxyecdysone from Dacrycarpus imbricatus bark inhibits the proliferation of acute myeloid leukemia cells

Objective:To investigate the anti-proliferative effects of 20-hydroxyecdysone isolated from the bark of Dacrycarpus imbricatus(Blume) de ***:Column chromatography was used for isolation of compounds from plant *** structure of the isolated compound was identified by mass spectrometry and nuclear magnetic resonance techniques,including HSQC,HMBC,NOE-difference *** isolated compound was tested for its anti-proliferative activity in acute myeloid leukemia(AMl) and OCI-AMl ***:Compound 1 was isolated from the ethyl acetate fraction of Dacrycarpus imbricatus barks by column *** chemical structure was identified as 20-hydroxyecdysone(20HE),a cholestane-type ecdysteroid,by a combination of mass spectrometry and nuclear magnetic resonance spectrometric *** goal was to test the anti-proliferative activity of 20 HE using the OCI-AMl cell line.20 HE significantly decreased OCI cell number at a concentration of 1 mg/ml,whereas lower concentrations were ***,this decrease was due to partial blockage of the G_1/S phase of the cell cycle,with a reduction of cells in the G_2M phase,not due to increased ***:This indicates that 20 HE significantly decreases the number of cells in the G_1/S phase of the cell cycle in human AMl *** is the first time that the anti-proliferative activity of 20 HE against a human tumor cell line has been reported.

In this correspondence,we establish mean convergence theorems for the maximum of normed double sums of Banach space valued random *** of the results pertain to random elements which are *** expand and improve a number of particular cases in the literature on mean convergence of random elements in Banach *** of the main contributions of the paper is to simplify and improve a recent result of li,Presnell,and Rosalsky[Journal of Mathematical Inequalities,16,117–126(2022)].A new maximal inequality for double sums of M-dependent random elements is proved which may be of independent *** sharpness of the results is illustrated by four examples.
