Resistant starch(RS)had drawn broad interest for both potential health benefits and functional *** this study,lndica rice was reacted with Vinyl acetate at different temperatures(20-50℃),pH(8-12),ratio of liquor to material(0.5:10-3.0:10)for different reaction times(1-8 h),and the penetrate and reaction efficiency were enhanced by using physical and chemical *** effect of reaction conditions on RS and acetyl group content was *** sample with the highest RS content(78.74%)could be obtained when conducting the reaction at 30℃,pH10,ratio of liquor to material 2.0:10 for 7 ***,no statistically significant correlation existed between RS yield and acetyl group content,the modified rice with the relatively low acetyl group content(0.59%)could aslo hold rather high RS content(62.34%).In other words,the high RS content rice could be produced only in a milder acetylation reaction conditions with low cost.

Zeolite nanosheets with a short b-axis thickness are highly desirable in lots of catalytic reactions due to their reduced diffusion resistance. Nevertheless, conventional synthesis methods usually require expensive structure-directing agents(SDAs), pricey raw materials, and eco-unfriendly fluorine-containing additives. Here, we contributed a cost-effective and fluoride-free synthesis method for synthesizing high-quality MFI zeolite nanosheets through a Silicalite-1(Sil-1) seed suspension and urea cooperative strategy, only with inexpensive colloidal silica as the Si source. Our approach was effective for synthesizing both Sil-1 and aluminum-containing ZSM-5 nanosheets. By optimizing key synthesis parameters,including seed aging time, seed quantity, and urea concentration, we achieved precise control over the crystal face aspect ratio and b-axis thickness. We also revealed a non-classical oriented nanosheet growth mechanism, where Sil-1 seeds induced the formation of quasi-ordered precursor particles, and the(010)crystal.p.anes of these particles facilitated urea adsorption, thereby promoting c-axis-oriented *** obtained ZSM-5 nanosheets exhibited exceptional catalytic performance in the benzene alkylation with ethanol, maintaining stability for over 500 h, which is 5 times longer than traditional ZSM-5 catalysts. Furthermore, large-scale production of ZSM-5 nanosheets was successfully carried out in a 3 l highpressure autoclave, yielding samples consistent with those from laboratory-scale synthesis. This work marks a significant step forward in the sustainable and efficient production of MFI nanosheets using inexpensive and environmentally friendly raw materials, offering the broad applicability in catalysis.

Spin-orbit torque （SOT）,as a promising writing method for magnetic random-access memory （MRAM）,has garnered widespread interest for over a decade [1].Heavy metals,such as β-W,have been broadly adopted as spin current sources,but suffer from phase change at a limited thickness,resulting in a dramatic reduction of the charge-tospin conversion efficiency θSH[2].The thickness limitation leads to stringent etching conditions and large distribution among devices,posing challenges for simultaneously satisfying SOT efficiency,etching-stop margins,and back-end-ofline （BEOl） compatibility.

Simulations were performed to examine the effects of a coiled tube after a T-junction on the mixing and flow characteristics. A coiled tube was found to have two effects: inducing a radial flow and flattening the axial velocity distribution, which enhances and weakens the mixing, respectively. In the straight tube section connecting the Tjunction and coiled tube, the latter may dominate and cause the mixing to deteriorate. An experiment was performed with the Villermaux/Dushman method to verify the simulation results. Based on a mixing performance simulation with various fluid and geometric structure parameters, a dimensionless correlation was obtained that can be used to determine the mixing intensity along the coiled tube with a deviation of less than 1.5%.These results provide guidance for designing a coiled tube or optimizing the operating conditions to meet the mixing requirements of specific chemical.p.ocesses.

We have calculated the sulphur 1s near edge X-ray absorption fine structure (NEXAFS) spectra of SO2 adsorbed on pd (111) in terms of the Multiple-Scattering Cluster (MSC) method. The origin of the resonances in the NEXAFS spectra has been revealed. By the MSC calculation and a (DV)-Xα study we have for the first time identified two weak features existing in S K-edge NEXAFS of SO2/pd(111) system, which are attributed to the interaction between the adsorbate and the substrate. Moreover, MSC calculation together with the reliability factor (R-factor) analysis are employed to determine the local adsorption structures. These results are broadly in agreement with those of Fourier-transform analysis of the surface extended X-ray absorption fine structure (SEXAFS).

Carbonated decomposition of hydrogarnet is one of the vital reactions of the calcification–carbonation method,which is designed to dispose of low-grade bauxite and Bayer red mud and is a novel eco-friendly *** this study,the effect of the silica saturation coefficient(x)on the carbonation of hydrogarnet was investigated from the kinetic *** results indicated that the carbonation of hydrogarnets with different x values(x=0.27,0.36,0.70,and 0.73)underwent two stages with significantly different rates,and the kinetic mechanisms of the two stages can be described by the kinetic functions R3 and *** apparent activation energies at Stages 1 and 2 were 41.96–81.64 and 14.80–34.84 kJ/mol,***,the corresponding limiting steps of the two stages were interfacial chemical reaction and diffusion.
