The Zhujiang (Pearl River) Estuary is a complex water system whose catchments basincovers a very large part of southern China. The large quantity of fresh water carried by the river system flows into the northern coast of the South China Sea through its eight inlets. The Zhujiang River Delta has experienced the fastest economic growth in China during the past two decades. Rapid population expansion and increased industrial development coupled with insufficient waste management turned the Zhujiang Estuary into waste disposal channels just before entering the coastal waters. The water quality of the estuaries and the coastal oceans has become polluted. During the past two years, an intensive study and monitoring efforts of the pollutions of these waters have been made. A systematic and integrated monitoring task including shore-based measurements, shipboard in-situ measurements, and satellite and radar remote sensing surveys has been completed. Comprehensive collection of physical, chemical and biological parameters has been accomplished and a database has been established. Unlike the previous large scale-monitoring task in which the various pollutant concentrations were the objective, the present study aims to understand the process of the pollution from their initial disposal to their final states. The understanding of the processes makes it possible to evaluate the severity of the pollution with respect to the sustainability. Also the objective is to incorporate these processes into the mathematical models from which a predictive capability of the pollution situation can be realized. The present presentation will describe the planning, methodology and the results of this effort.

Macroscopic cylinder- and helix-shaped deformation domains were observed in NiTi polycrystalline shape memory alloy tubes during the phase transition under uniaxial quasi-static isothermal *** experiments showed that the occurrence of cylinder or helix domain and its subsequent isothermal evolution strongly depend on the domain volume,tube wall-thickness and loading *** paper studies the energetics of the cylindrical and helical domains using an elastic inclusion *** is demonstrated that the total misfit strain energy of an equilibrium domain in tube essentially depends on two nondimensional length scales:the normalized effective domain length and the normalized *** on such understanding,we quantify the length scale dependence in the energy of the equilibrium cylindrical and helical *** energetic preference of each type of domain is predicted and the critical condition for the helix→cylinder domain transition is established.

This paper presents the study on the enhanced coherent THz Smith-Purcell superradiation excited by two modulated electron-beam passing through the 1-D sub-wavelength holes *** results show that the two electron beams can be coupled with each other through the holes array so the intensity of the radiated field has been enhanced about 3 times compared with that excited by one electron *** smith-purcell superradiation with the angle corresponding to the 2nd harmonics frequency component of the electron bunches has been clearly observed and in this mechanism 0.62THz radiation can be generated with 10A/cm 2 current density.

＜正＞Processing of polymer composite products of complex shapes involves three steps: （a） drape/forming of an assembly of fibre reinforcements;（b） infiltration of the preform by a liquid polymer resin and （c） curing and solidification of the polymer resin. Successful process design depends on an integrated approach of simulating the three steps, which might be sequential such as in resin transfer moulding （RTM） or overlapping such as in autoclave processing. The principle of integrated simulations will be demonstrated in this study for the case of sequential steps.

Certain insect species have been observed to exploit the resonance mechanism of their *** order to achieve resonance and optimize aerodynamic performance,the conventional approach is to set the flapping frequency of flexible wings based on the Traditional Structural Modal(TSM)***,there exists controversy among researchers regarding the relationship between frequency and aerodynamic *** that the structural response of wings can be influenced by the surrounding air vibrations,an analysis known as Acoustic Structure Interaction Modal(ASIM)is introduced to calculate the resonant *** this study,Fluid Structure Interaction(FSI)simulations are employed to investigate the aerodynamic performance of flapping wings at modal frequencies derived from both TSM and ASIM *** performance is evaluated for various mass ratios and frequency ratios,and the findings indicate that the deformation and changes in vortex structure exhibit similarities at mass ratios that yield the highest aerodynamic ***,the flapping frequency associated with the maximum time-averaged vertical force coefficient at each mass ratio closely aligns with the ASIM frequency,as does the frequency corresponding to maximum ***,the ASIM analysis can provide an effective means for predicting the optimal flapping frequency for flexible ***,it enables the prediction that flexible wings with varying mass ratios will exhibit similar deformation and vortex structure *** paper offers a fresh perspective on the ongoing debate concerning the resonance mechanism of Flexible Flapping Wings(FFWs)and proposes an effective methodology for predicting their aerodynamic performance.

This paper studies the problem of time-varying formation control with finite-time prescribed performance for nonstrict feedback second-order multi-agent systems with unmeasured states and unknown *** eliminate nonlinearities,neural networks are applied to approximate the inherent dynamics of the *** addition,due to the limitations of the actual working conditions,each follower agent can only obtain the locally measurable partial state information of the leader *** address this problem,a neural network state observer based on the leader state information is ***,a finite-time prescribed performance adaptive output feedback control strategy is proposed by restricting the sliding mode surface to a prescribed region,which ensures that the closed-loop system has practical finite-time stability and that formation errors of the multi-agent systems converge to the prescribed performance bound in finite ***,a numerical simulation is provided to demonstrate the practicality and effectiveness of the developed algorithm.

The implementation of recycling activity is of great significance to closed-loop supply chain ***’environmental awareness and governmental subsidy are considered in the two-echelon closed-loop supply *** types of decision-making structures are proposed under different carbon emission *** subsidy sharing mechanism is designed to resolve the channel members’conflict caused by double *** paper provides insight into the effect of environmental awareness and government subsidy under different low-carbon regulations on the supply chain benefit and social welfare via the game *** analysis results display that the government subsidy and subsidy sharing mechanism are profitably beneficial to the whole supply chain and social ***,a noteworthy result reveals that social welfare is not always directly proportional to consumers’environmental *** welfare decreases slightly with the increase in consumers’environmental awareness when consumers’environmental awareness is ***,social welfare will be significantly improved when consumers’environmental awareness increases beyond a certain threshold.

The reduction of phosphogypsum(PG)to lime slag and SO_(2)using coke can effectively alleviate the environmental problems caused by ***,the PG decomposition temperature remains high and the product yield remains *** adding additives,the decomposition temperature can be further reduced and PG decomposition rate and product yield can be ***,the use of current additives such as Fe_(2)O_(3)and SiO_(2)brings the problem of increasing economic ***,it is proposed to use solid waste copper slag(CS)as a new additive to reduce PG to prepare SO2,which can reduce the cost and meet the environmental benefits at the same *** effects of proportion,temperature and thermostatic time on PG decomposition are investigated by experimental and kinetic analysis combined with FactSage thermodynamic calculations to optimize the roasting ***,the reaction mechanism is *** is found that adding CS to the coke and PG system can increase the rate of PG decomposition and SO_(2)yield while lowering the PG decomposition *** example,when the CS/PG mass ratio increases from 0 to 1,PG decomposition rate increases from 83.38%to 99.35%,SO_(2)yield increases from 78.62%to 96.81%,and PG decomposition temperature decreases from 992.4℃to 949.6℃.The optimal reaction parameters are CS/PG mass ratio of 1,Coke/PG mass ratio of 0.06 at 1100℃for 20 min with 99.35%PG decomposition rate and 96.81%SO_(2) *** process proceeds according to the following reactions:2CaSO_(4)+ 0.7C + 0.8Fe_(2)SiO_(4)→0.8Ca_(2)SiO_(4)+ 0.2Ca_(2)Fe_(2)O_(5)+ 0.4Fe_(3)O_(4)+2SO_(2)+ 0.7CO_(2)Finally,a process for decomposing PG with coke and CS is proposed.
