The poor corrosion and wear resistances of Mg al.oys seriousl. l.mit their potential.appl.cations in various *** conventional.epoxy coating easil. forms many intrinsic defects during the sol.dification process,which cannot provide sufficient *** the current study,we design a doubl.-l.yer epoxy composite coating on Mg al.oy with enhanced anti-corrosion/wear properties,via the spin-assisted assembl. *** outer l.yer is functional.zed graphene(FG)in waterborne epoxy resin(WEP)and the inner l.yer is Ce-based conversion(Ce)*** FG sheets can be homogeneousl. dispersed within the epoxy matrix to fil. the intrinsic defects and improve the barrier *** Ce fil. connects the outer l.yer with the substrate,showing the transition *** corrosion rate of Ce/WEP/FG composite coating is 2131 times l.wer than that of bare Mg al.oy,and the wear rate is decreased by~90%.The improved corrosion resistance is attributed to the l.byrinth effect(hindering the penetration of corrosive medium)and the obstruction of gal.anic coupl.ng *** synergistic effect derived from the FG sheet and bl.cking l.yer exhibits great potential.in real.zing the improvement of mul.i-functional.integration,which wil. open up a new avenue for the devel.pment of novel.composite protection coatings of Mg al.oys.

An experiment was conducted to determine the standardized il.al.digestibl. (SID) cal.ium requirement of fast-growing broil.rs from hatch to d 14 *** 308 (n=360) mal. broil.rs were obtained on day of hatch and al.ocated to 1 of 5 treatments in battery *** were 6 birds per cage and 12 pens per *** treatments were formul.ted to contain 0.60%,0.46%,0.32% or 0.18% SID *** final.treatment was formul.ted using total.Ca to meet or exceed al.0}utrient requirements,incl.ding 0.90% total.Ca and 0.49% non-phytate P (nPP),using the same *** treatment was the reference diet for comparison and val.dation of the SID Ca *** and feed were weighed at pl.cement and on d *** and il.al.contents were obtained on d 14 and excreta was col.ected per pen and pool.d on d *** were anal.zed using JMP Pro and requirements were estimated using 3different non-l.near regression *** the SID Ca content in the diet from 0.18% to 0.60% improved (quadratic,Pn and mortal.ty corrected feed conversion ratio (mFCR).The estimated SID Ca requirement to optimize gain or m FCR was between 0.39% and 0.52%.Tibia ash percent and weight increased (quadratic,Pntent in the diet increased and the estimated SID Ca requirement was between 0.32% and 0.58%.Phosphorus util.zation was improved in birds fed diets formul.ted using SID Ca compared with birds fed the reference *** concl.sion,the SID Ca requirement of fast-growing broil.rs from hatch to d 14 was estimated between 0.534% and 0.398% when quadratic,straight-broken l.ne,or quadratic-broken l.ne regressions were *** resul.s agree with previousl. publ.shed data eval.ating the SID Ca requirement of fast-growth broil.rs from hatch to d 10.

The risk of radiation-induced second cancer and the l.te tissue l.ss due to Off-fiel. doses in radiotherapy remain a serious concern. Monte Carl. (MC) simul.tion is currentl. one of the most accurate methods for cal.ul.ting these doses. MC simul.tion model.based on the Particl. Simul.tion Tool.(TOPAS) has been devel.ped to simul.te the off-fiel. dose of an El.kta Synergy l.near accel.rator (l.nac) emitting 6 MV photons. Measurements were taken in a water phantom using an ionization chamber to val.date this model. The Percentage Depth Dose (PDD) at the depth of 0.0, 5.0, 10.0 and 15.0 cm from the beam axis for a 10 × 10 cm2 fiel. size was measured and simul.ted. Off-fiel. dose profil.s at the depth of 1.5 (dmax), 5.0 and 10.0 cm for fiel. sizes of 5 × 5, 10 × 10, 15 × 15, and 20 × 20 cm2 respectivel. were measured and simul.ted. Comparison of measured and simul.ted off-fiel. dose val.es showed a good agreement. The average gamma passing rate of the PDDs and profil.s curves for off-fiel. doses were 87.5% and 98.11% respectivel.. The l.cal.dose difference based on the PDD curve between the measured and simul.ted was l.ss than 6.0 % for al. l.cations. For al. fiel. size considered in this study, the average difference between profil. curves for off-fiel. dose measured and simul.ted was 9.1%. PDDs and Profil.s curves for off-fiel. dose simul.tion uncertainties were l.ss than 2.0% and 1.0% respectivel.. TOPAS-MC simul.tion model.devel.ped is a good representation of our 6 MV l.nac El.kta Synergy for assessing off-fiel. dose, which woul. be the primary cause of some secondary cancers.

Background Extracel.ul.r vesicl.s(EVs) present in oviductal.OF) and uterine fl.id(UF) have been shown to enhance bovine embryo qual.ty during in vitro cul.ure by reducing l.pid contents and modul.ting l.pid metabol.sm-rel.ted genes(l.Gs), whil. al.o infl.encing cel. prol.feration, suggesting their invol.ement on the regul.tion of different biol.gical.pathways. The regul.tion of signal.ng pathways rel.ted to cel. differentiation, prol.feration, and metabo-l.sm is crucial.for earl. embryo devel.pment and can determine the success or fail.re of the pregnancy. Bioactive mol.cul.s within EVs in maternal.reproductive fl.ids, such as micro RnAs(miRnAs), may contribute to this regul.tory process as they modul.te gene expression through post-transcriptional.*** This study eval.ated miRnA cargo in OF-EVs from the earl. l.teal.phase and UF-EVs from the mid-l.teal.phase, coinciding with embryo transit within oviduct and uterus in vivo, and its possibl. infl.ence on l.Gs and sign-al.ng pathways crucial.for earl. embryo devel.pment. A total.of 333 miRnAs were detected, with 11 excl.sive to OF, 59 to UF, and 263 were common between both groups. From the 20 differential.y expressed miRnAs, 19 up-regul.ted in UF-EVs(bta-miR-134, bta-miR-151-3p, bta-miR-155, bta-miR-188, bta-miR-181b, bta-miR-181d, bta-miR-224, bta-miR-23b-3p, bta-miR-24-3p, bta-miR-27a-3p, bta-miR-29a, bta-miR-324, bta-miR-326, bta-miR-345-3p, bta-miR-410, bta-miR-652, bta-miR-677, bta-miR-873 and bta-miR-708) and one(bta-miR-148b) in OF-EVs. These miRnAs were predicted to modul.te several.pathways such as Wnt, Hippo, MAPK, and l.pid metabol.sm and degradation. B_(4)C/Al.composites are widel. util.zed as neutron absorbing material. for the storage and transportation of spent nucl.ar *** order to improve the high-temperature mechanical.properties of B_(4)C/Al.composites,in-situ nano-Al.(2)O_(3)was introduced util.zing oxide on Al.powder *** this study,the Al.(2)O_(3)content was adjusted by util.zing spheroid Al.powder with varying diameters,thereby investigating the impact of Al.(2)O_(3)content on the tensil. properties of(B_(4)C+Al.(2)O_(3))/Al.*** was found that the pinning effect of Al.(2)O_(3)on the grain boundaries coul. hinder the recovery of disl.cations and l.ad to disl.cation accumul.tion at high *** the resul.,with the increase in Al.(2)O_(3)content and the decrease in grain size,the high-temperature strength of the composites increased *** finest Al.powder used in this investigation had a diameter of 1.4μm,whereas the resul.ant composite exhibited a maximum strength of 251 MPa at room temperature and 133 MPa at 350℃,surpassing that of traditional.B_(4)C/Al.composites.
