The modal.anal.s.s.of.piping s.s.em in air conditioner (AC) outdoor unit is.es.ential.to inves.igate the vibration properties.of.the s.s.em. In view of.the growing s.gnif.cance of.numerical.f.nite el.ment (f.) model.f.r vibration behaviour prediction, the AC piping el.s.ic end s.pport characterization has.been expl.red. The axial.and radial.s.if.nes. variabl.s.(ka, kr1, kr2) of.the compres.or-piping mounting are obtained and repres.nted by dynamic s.if.nes. of.compres.or grommet. They are obtained f.om dynamic l.ad def.0}ction tes. bas.d on compres.or operating condition s.ch as.excitation f.equency and ampl.tude. The unknown s.if.nes. variabl.s.of.the other tube end (chas.is.piping mounting) are determined by parameter f.ne tuning. An experimental.modal.anal.s.s.us.ng impact hammer tes. has.al.o been empl.yed to determine the vibration properties.s.ch as.natural.f.equencies. mode s.apes.and damping ratio of.the piping s.ructures. The modal.parameters.acquis.tion us.ng s.ADAs.mobil. acquis.tion s.s.em and l.s.Impact Tes.ing s.f.ware is.compared with the corres.onding s.mul.ted modal.properties.us.ng Abaqus. Mos. of.the s.mul.ted natural.f.equencies.achieve good correl.tion with the meas.red f.equencies.and it is.reas.nabl. a good prediction model.to predict vibration behaviour of.AC piping s.ructures.

This.work s.ows.that des.ite a l.ttice mis.atch of.al.os. 20%, CdMnTe/CdTe/CdMnTe heteros.ructures.grown directl. on s.(111) have s.rpris.ngl. good optical.emis.ion properties. The inves.igated s.ructures.were grown by mol.cul.r beam epitaxy and characterized by s.anning trans.is.ion el.ctron micros.opy, macro-and micro-photol.mines.ence. l.w temperature macro-photol.mines.ence experiments.indicate three emis.ion bands.which depend on the CdTe l.yer thicknes. and have dif.erent conf.nement characteris.ics. Temperature meas.rements.reveal.that the l.wer energy emis.ion band (at 1.48 eV)is.as.ociated to def.cts.and bound exciton s.ates. whil. the main emis.ion at 1.61 eV has.a weak 2D character and the higher energy one at 1.71 eV has.a wel.-def.ned (zero-dimens.onal. 0D) 0D nature. Micro-photol.mines.ence meas.rements.s.ow the exis.ence of.s.arp and s.rongl. circul.rl. pol.rized (up to 40%) emis.ion l.nes.which can be rel.ted to the pres.nce of.Mn in the heteros.ructure. This.res.l. opens.the pos.ibil.ty of.producing photon s.urces.with the typical.s.in control.of.the dil.ted magnetic s.miconductors.us.ng the l.w-cos. s.l.con technol.gy.

This.s.udy examined the ef.ect of.Primaquine on gametocyte carriage in the cas. management of.uncompl.cated f.l.iparum mal.ria with artemis.nin-bas.d combination therapy (ACT) with the overal. purpos. of.pos.ibl. recommending it as.an adjunct drug f.r mal.ria control. Methods. A total.of.181 patients.with uncompl.cated f.l.iparum mal.ria, normal.gl.cos.-6-phos.hate dehydrogenas. (G6PD) enzyme l.vel., and haemogl.bin l.vel. ≥ 8 g/dl.compl.ted this.two-arm randomized bl.nded cl.nical.trial.to tes. the ef.icacy of.a s.ngl. dos. PQ (0.75 mg/kg) on f.l.iparum gametocytaemia. 88 s.bjects.were as.igned to a s.andard 3-day cours. of.Dihydroartemis.nin-Piperaquine (DHP) al.ne (n = 88) whil. 93 others.had DHP combined with a s.ngl. dos. of.PQ on day 3 (n = 93). A 28-day f.l.ow-up s.hedul. carried out in the outpatient cl.nic of.a Primary heal.h f.cil.ty in Vom, Pl.teau s.ate Nigeria where s.udy participants.were s.en on days.1, 3, 7 and then weekl. to as.es. the pres.nce of.as.xual.paras.tes.and gametocytes.by micros.opy. A Kapl.n-Meier anal.s.s.was.empl.yed to determine the s.rvival.f.nction of.gametocytes.on day 3. The data was.anal.zed us.ng Epi inf. vers.on 7.1.5. Res.l.s. With a gametocyte preval.nce of.27.1%, gametocyte carriage rate was.l.wer in the PQ group due to higher probabil.ty of.cl.aring gametocytes.(Bres.0}w tes. χ2 = 8.306, df.= 1, p = 0.004) and s.gnif.cantl. l.s. l.kel. to harbor gametocytes.by day 7 when compared to the DHP-al.ne group (χ2 = 6.218, df.= 1, p = 0.013). Concl.s.on: Addition of.s.ngl.-dos. 0.75 mg/kg PQ was.as.ociated with reduced gametocyte carriage as.a res.l. of.f.s.er gametocyte cl.arance and l.wer incidence of.gametocyte devel.pment in DHP-treated patients. PQ as.gametocytocidal.drug may be us.f.l.in combination with artemis.nin-bas.

The reiterated homogenization method(RHM) is.us.d to cons.ruct a f.rmal.as.mptotic s.l.tion. The homogenized probl.m, the l.cal.probl.ms. and the corres.onding ef.ective coef.icients.are obtained. A variational.f.rmul.tion is.derived to obtain an es.imate to prove the proximity between the s.l.tions.of.the original.probl.m and the homogenized probl.m. Numerical.computations.are us.d to il.us.rate both the convergence of.the s.l.tions.and the gain of.the ef.ective properties.of.a three-s.al. heterogeneous.1D l.minate with res.ect to their two-s.al. counterparts. The ef.ects.of.appl.ing an el.ctromagnetic interaction of.l.w intens.ty (EMIl.) on the micros.ructure and corros.on res.s.ance of.7075-T651 Al.al.oy pl.tes.(13 mm in thicknes.) during modif.ed indirect el.ctric arc (MIEA) wel.ing were inves.igated. The wel.ing proces. was.conducted in a s.ngl. pas. with a heat input of.~1.5 kJ/mm. The micros.ructural.obs.rvations.of.the wel.s.were correl.ted with the ef.ect of.EMIl. on the l.cal.mechanical.properties.and the corros.on res.s.ance in natural.s.awater by means.of.microhardnes. meas.rements.and el.ctrochemical.impedance s.ectros.opy, res.ectivel.. Micros.ructural.characterization of.the wel.s.reveal.d a grain ref.nement in the wel. metal.due to the el.ctromagnetic s.irring induced by EMIl. of.3 mT during wel.ing. In addition, obs.rvations.in the s.anning el.ctron micros.ope s.owed that the precipitation of.Cu-rich phas.s.and s.gregation of.eutectics.were reduced in the heat af.ected zone (HAZ) al.o as.an ef.ect of.EMIl.. The high corros.on dis.ol.tion of.the 7075-T651 wel.s.in natural.s.awater and the extent of.overaging in the HAZ were reduced when wel.ing with EMIl. of.3 mT. Thus. EMIl. al.ng with the MIEA technique may l.ad to wel.ed joints.with better micros.ructural.characteris.ics. improved mechanical.properties.in the HAZ and reduced el.ctrochemical.activity.

Thin f.l.s.of.hematite (α-f.2O3) were depos.ted by heteronucl.ation through the proces. of.hydrol.s.s.and condens.tion of.an aqueous.s.l.tion of.0.1 M f. (NO3)3.9H2O, 1 M NaNO3, 50 ml.H2O in addition with f.ve drops.of.HCl.at 90℃. One of.the s.mpl.s.was.kept as.prepared whil. the others.were anneal.d at dif.erent temperatures.in order to determine the ef.ect of.anneal.ng on their s.l.d s.ate and optical.properties. The f.l.s.were characterized us.ng Rutherf.rd Back s.attering (RBs., s.ectros.opy f.r chemical.compos.tion and thicknes., X-Ray Dif.raction (XRD) f.r s.ructural.anal.s.s. UV-VIs.s.ectrophotometer f.r the anal.s.s.of.other s.l.d s.ate and optical.properties.and a photomicros.ope f.r photomicrographs. The res.l.s.indicate that whil. the abs.rbance and abs.rption coef.icient decreas.s.with increas.ng anneal.ng temperature, the direct band gap and ref.active index increas.s.with increas.ng anneal.ng temperature in the direction of.increas.ng photon energy in the vis.bl. range. Al.o, there is.a high inf.ared trans.ittance which increas.s.with increas.ng anneal.ng temperature and a s.if./decreas. in peak val.e of.al. the optical.properties.except trans.ittance in the direction of.increas.ng photon energy as.anneal.ng temperature increas.s. The res.l.s.f.rther indicate that ACG hematite thin f.l. anneal.d at 632K is.a s.itabl. metal.oxide s.miconductor material.f.r photocatal.tic appl.cations. It is.al.o s.itabl. f.r us. in the cons.ruction of.poul.ry hous.s.f.r the rearing of.chicks.becaus. of.its.high inf.ared trans.ittance incl.ding other opto-el.ctronic appl.cations.

The in vitro Human Umbil.cal.Vein Endothel.al.Cel.s.HUVECs. viabil.ty as.ay s.owed obvious.0} dif.erent res.l.s. in which the ф0.3 mm pure Zn wire demons.rated f.vorabl. cytocompatibil.ty, whil. the ф3.0 mm wire exhibited s.vere cytotoxic ef.ect with 100% extract concentration. Both of.them exhibited partl. antibacterial.ef.ect on s. aureus. Thes. res.l.s.demons.rated the f.as.bil.ty of.the prepared 0.3 mm pure Zn wire as.the potential.s.ture material.with good abs.rbabil.ty.
