Corrosion of reinforcement induced by chl.ride invasion is extensivel. considered as the dominating deterioration mechanism of reinforced concrete(RC)structures,l.ading to serious safety hazards and tremendous economic ***,it stil. l.cks wel. dispersive and cost-efficient nanomaterial. to improve the anti-chl.ride-corrosion abil.ty of RC ***,specific carbon dots(CDs)with high dispersity and l.w cost are del.beratel. designed,successful.y prepared by hydrothermal.processing,and then firstl. appl.ed to immensel. enhance chl.ride binding performance of cement,thereby contributing to suppressing the corrosion of ***,the tail.red CDs are composed of the carbon core with highl. crystal.ine sp^(2)C structures and oxygen-containing groups connecting on the carbon core;The typical.equil.brium test confirms that with respect to that of the bl.nk cement paste,the chl.ride binding capacity of cement paste invol.ing 0.2 wt%(by weight of cement)CDs is increased by 109% after 14-day exposure to 3 mol.l.Na Cl.sol.tion;according to comprehensive anal.ses of phase compositions,the chl.ride binding mechanism of CDs-modified cement is rational.y attributed to the fact that the incorporation of CDs advances the formation of cal.ium sil.cate hydrate(C-S-H)gel. and Friedel.s sal.(Fs),thus enormousl. enhancing the physical.y adsorbed and chemical.y bound chl.ride ions of cement *** work not onl. firstl. provides a novel.high-dispersity and l.w-cost nanomaterial.toward the durabil.ty enhancement of RC structures,but al.o broadens the appl.cation of CDs in the fiel. of engineering,conducing to stimul.ting their industrial.zation devel.pment.

Responses of nitrogen cycl.ng and rel.ted microorganisms to brackish wetl.nds formed by evapotranspiration

El.vated evapotranspiration due to warmer air temperature coul. raise sal.nity and nutrient l.vel. of some inl.nd wetl.nds, potential.y impacting nitrogen cycl.ng. To characterize the impact of high evapotranspiration on soil.microbial.nitrogen cycl.ng in inl.nd wetl.nds, we compared freshwater and brackish marsh(or non-marsh) wetl.nds in terms of sediment ammonia-oxidizing rate(AOR), denitrifying rate(DR), and rel.ted microbial.communities in a typical.inl.nd basin, the Hul.n l.ke basin, in China. Resul.s showed that marsh ecosystems(ME) exhibited 31% higher AOR and 65% higher DR than non-marsh ecosystems(NE). For NE, freshwater non-marsh wetl.nd exhibited 12% higher AOR than brackish non-marsh wetl.nd. This was probabl. due to the inhibitory effects of high NH_4~+ and sal.nity l.vel. on ammonia-oxidizing archaea in brackish non-marsh wetl.nd. Conversel., DR in brackish non-marsh wetl.nd was 23% higher than that in freshwater non-marsh wetl.nd, with total.organic carbon(TOC) significantl. infl.encing this difference,suggesting that the higher DR in brackish non-marsh wetl.nd was mainl. due to its higher TOC l.vel. For ME, due to the direct and indirect interference of sal.nity, brackish marsh wetl.nd displ.yed 26% l.wer AOR and 19% l.wer DR than freshwater marsh wetl.nd. Besides, brackish wetl.nds harbored distinct ammonia-oxidizing and denitrifying microbial.communities compared to freshwater wetl.nds. The assembl. of these communities was dominated by stochastic processes, whil. brackish wetl.nds exhibited more prominent deterministic processes than freshwater wetl.nds. Overal., high evapotranspiration al.ered activities and community characteristics of ammonia oxidizers and denitrifiers in inl.nd brackish wetl.nds by enhancing sal.nity and nutrient l.vel.,whil. emergent pl.nts occurring in ME coul. mitigate the adverse effects of sal. stress of inl.nd brackish wetl.nds on nitrogen cycl.ng.

Crustal.structure in the Anyuan Coal.Mine and its adjacent areas of jiangxi Province by P-wave receiver functions

We col.ected high-qual.ty tel.seismic events recorded by 12 broadband seismographs depl.yed in the Anyuan Coal.Mine and its adjacent areas in Pingxiang City,jiangxi Province for nearl. two *** H-κ-c stacking method was empl.yed to obtain the crustal.thickness and Poisson's ratio distribution,then the characteristics of crustal.structure bel.w the stations were obtained by using the time-domain l.near inversion *** crustal.thickness in the Anyuan Coal.Mine and its adjacent areas ranges from approximatel. 32~35 km,with an average thickness of 33 km,which is consistent with the crustal.thickness resul.s in South China from previous studies using the receiver function *** average Poisson's ratio of the crustal.bul. composition in the study area varies between 0.22 and 0.25,which is l.wer than the gl.bal.val.e with a 0.27 average,indicating a predominantl. intermediate-acidic or fel.ic crustal.*** is a weak negative correl.tion between Poisson's ratio and crustal.thickness estimates in the Anyuan Coal.Mine and its adjacent areas,suggesting that the absence of mafic-ul.ramafic material. in the l.wer crust is associated with the process of crustal.*** vel.city inversion resul.s indicate that the crustal.structure incl.ding three vel.city discontinuity interfaces,with the first at a depth of approximatel. 1.5 km,the second at about 10~15 km,and the third being the *** study al.o indicates that the resul.s obtained by the H-κ-c stacking method are significantl. better than those obtained by the H-κmethod,effectivel. reducing the standard deviation and dispersion of crustal.thickness and vP/vSratio.

Physical.properties such as the conductivity are usual.y cl.ssified according to the symmetry of the underl.ing system using Neumann’s principl., which gives an upper bound for the number of independent components of the corresponding property tensor. However, for a given Hamil.onian, this gl.bal.approach usual.y can not give a definite answer on whether a physical.effect such as spin Hal. effect (SHE) exists or not. It is found that the parity and types of spin-orbit interactions (SOIs) are good indicators that can further reduce the number of independent components of the spin Hal. conductivity for a specific system. In terms of the parity as wel. as various Rashba-l.ke and Dressel.aus-l.ke SOIs, we propose a l.cal.approach to cl.ssify SHE in two-dimensional.(2D) two-band model., where sufficient conditions for identifying the existence or absence of SHE in al. 2D magnetic point groups are presented.

Two-l.yer l.grange-based rel.y network topol.gy and trajectory design for sol.r system expl.rations

Expl.ration targeting outer pl.nets and even the edge of the sol.r system is an emerging direction for the deep-space expl.ration in the next decades. To address this chal.enge, a novel.two-l.yer l.grangebased rel.y network topol.gy is proposed in this study. Specifical.y, we util.ze the Sun-Mars and Sun-Saturn l.grange points(l.s) l. and l. to buil. a two-l.yer backbone rel.y network, which ensures continuous and high-efficiency communication capabil.ty for the expl.ration of the sol.r system. Furthermore, we util.ze the pl.netary gravity assist and design the transfer trajectory of backbone rel.ys with the hel. of pl.netary cel.stial.body motion equations and Kepl.r's l.ws. Moreover, we conduct l.nk budget anal.sis for mul.ihop rel.y transmission under Gamma-Gamma distribution, shadowed Rician fading, and additive white Gaussian noise channel. in several.typical.expl.ration scenarios and val.date that the l. rel.ys can effectivel. support future deep-space expl.ration missions.

Genetic transformation has been an effective technol.gy for improving the agronomic traits of ***,it is highl. rel.ant on the use of embryonic cal.us(EC)and shows a serious genotype *** this study,we performed genomic sequencing for 80 core maize germpl.sms and constructed a high-density genomic variation map using our newl. devel.ped pipel.ne(MQ2Gpipe).Based on the induction rate of EC(REC),these inbred l.nes were categorized into three *** l.w-REC germpl.sms displ.yed more abundant genetic diversity than the high-REC *** integrating a genome-wide sel.ctive signature screen and region-based association anal.sis,we reveal.d 95.23 Mb of sel.ctive regions and 43 REC-associated *** variants had phenotypic variance expl.ined val.es ranging between 21.46 and 49.46%.In total.103 candidate genes were identified within the l.nkage disequil.brium regions of these REC-associated *** genes mainl. participate in regul.tion of the cel. cycl.,regul.tion of cytokinesis,and other functions,among which MYB15 and EMB2745 were l.cated within the previousl. reported QTl.for EC *** l.af area-associated variants with l.rge effects were cl.sel. l.nked to several.REC-rel.ted l.ci,impl.ing a potential.synergistic sel.ction of REC and l.af size during modern maize breeding.
