Influence of separator control on the characteristics of severe slugging flow

Due to the special structure of offshore multiphase pipes, it is easy for severe slugging to occur in the riser at low gas-liquid velocity. Violent pressure fluctuations and dramatic changes of flow rate are the main characteristics of severe slugging, leading to the risk of serious damage. In this paper, the separator control is adopted to accurately control the separator liquid level and pressure under severe slugging flow conditions. This indicates that the separator liquid level control alone does not have a significant impact on the upstream flow, but it is beneficial for normal operation and pressure control of the separator. As the separator pressure increases, the peak pressure in the riser apparently diminishes, and the amplitude of pressure fluctuation gradually decreases, which means that severe slugging is inhibited. During the slug blowing out, the gas/liquid slipping in the riser intensifies. The long gas plug quickly flows through the riser, and then tends to morph into short and slowly flowing gas bubbles. The elimination effect of the pressure control strategy on severe slugging is related to the relative rate of the superficial gas/liquid flow.

A simulation method for slug flow based on the VOF multiphase flow model was implemented in ANSYS?Fluent via a user-defined function(UDF)and applied to the dissipation of liquid slugs in the inlet pipe of a gas–liquid cylindrical cyclone(GlCC)separator while varying the expanding diameter ratio and angle of *** dissipation of liquid slug in inlet pipe is analyzed under different expanding diameter ratios and inclination *** the inlet pipe,it is found that increasing expanding diameter ratio and inclination angle can reduce the liquid slug stability and enhancing the effect of gravity,which is beneficial to slug flow *** the cylinder,increasing the expanding diameter ratio can significantly reduce the liquid carrying depth of the gas phase but result in a slightly increase of the gas content in the liquid phase ***,increasing the inclination angle results in a decrease in the carrying depth of liquid in the vapor phase,but enhances gas–liquid mixing and increases the gas-carrying depth in the liquid *** into consideration the dual effects of slug dissipation in the inlet pipe and carrying capacity of gas/liquid spaces in the cylinder,the optimal expanding diameter ratio and inclination angle values can be determined.

The development of technologies such as big data and blockchain has brought convenience to life,but at the same time,privacy and security issues are becoming more and more *** K-anonymity algorithm is an effective and low computational complexity privacy-preserving algorithm that can safeguard users’privacy by anonymizing big ***,the algorithm currently suffers from the problem of focusing only on improving user privacy while ignoring data *** addition,ignoring the impact of quasi-identified attributes on sensitive attributes causes the usability of the processed data on statistical analysis to be *** on this,we propose a new K-anonymity algorithm to solve the privacy security problem in the context of big data,while guaranteeing improved data ***,we construct a new information loss function based on the information quantity *** that different quasi-identification attributes have different impacts on sensitive attributes,we set weights for each quasi-identification attribute when designing the information loss *** addition,to reduce information loss,we improve K-anonymity in two ***,we make the loss of information smaller than in the original table while guaranteeing privacy based on common artificial intelligence algorithms,i.e.,greedy algorithm and 2-means clustering *** addition,we improve the 2-means clustering algorithm by designing a mean-center method to select the initial center of ***,we design the K-anonymity algorithm of this scheme based on the constructed information loss function,the improved 2-means clustering algorithm,and the greedy algorithm,which reduces the information ***,we experimentally demonstrate the effectiveness of the algorithm in improving the effect of 2-means clustering and reducing information loss.

Flow Characteristics of Crude Oil with High Water Fraction during Non-heating Gathering and Transportation

In order to ensure the safety of the non-heating gathering and transportation processes for high water fraction crude oil,the effect of temperature,water fraction,and flow rate on the flow characteristics of crude oil with high water fraction was studied in a flow experimental system of the X *** distinct flow patterns were identified by the photographic and local sampling ***,three new flow patterns were found to occur below the pour point of crude oil,including EW/O&W stratified flow with gel deposition,EW/O&W intermittent flow with gel deposition,and water single-phase flow with gel ***,two characteristic temperatures,at which the change rate of pressure drop had changed obviously,were found during the change of pressure *** characteristic temperature of the first congestion of gel deposition in the pipeline was determined to be the safe temperature for the non-heating gathering and transportation of high water cut crude oil,while the pressure drop reached the peak at this *** empirical formula for the safe temperature was established for oil-water flow with high water fraction/low fluid production *** results can serve as a guide for the safe operation of the non-heating gathering and transportation of crude oil in high water fraction oilfields.

Graphene-based materials possess significant potential for the treatment of dye wastewater due to their exceptional adsorption properties toward stubborn ***,their utilization is hindered by high preparation costs,low yields,environmental pollution during synthesis,and challenges in regenerating the *** study proposes a novel approach to address these limitations by developing nitrogen-doped three-dimensional(3D)polyvinyl alcohol(PVA)crosslinked graphene sponges(N-PGA)using a cross-linking method with ammonium *** method offers a relatively mild,environmentally friendly *** carbonate serves as both a reducing and modifying agent,facilitating the formation of the intrinsic structure of N-PGA and acting as a nitrogen ***,PVA is utilized as the cross-linking *** results demonstrate that N-PGA exhibits a favorable internal 3D hierarchical porous structure and possesses robust mechanical *** measured specific surface area(BET)of N-PGA was as high as406.538 m^(2)·g^(-1),which was favorable for its efficient adsorption of Congo red(CR)dye *** an initial concentration of 50 mg·l^(-1),N-PGA achieved an impressive removal rate of 89.6%and an adsorption capacity of 112 mg·g^(-1)for CR ***,it retained 79%of its initial adsorption capacity after 10 cycles,demonstrating excellent regeneration *** summary,the synthesized N-PGA displays remarkable efficacy in the adsorption of CR dye in wastewater,opening up new possibilities for utilizing 3D porous graphene nanomaterials as efficient adsorbents in wastewater treatment.

Background:Diabetes retinopathy(DR)is a complication of diabetes that affects patients’*** studies have found blueberry anthocyanins extract(BAE)can inhibit the progression of DR,but its mechanism is not completely ***:To study the role of BAE in diabetes retinopathy,we treated human retinal endothelial cells(HRCECs)with 30 mM high glucose to simulate the microenvironment of diabetes retinopathy and used BAE to intervene the in vitro high glucose-induced retinopathy *** cell viability and apoptosis rates were examined by Cell Counting Kit 8(CCK-8)assay and flow cytometry *** binding sites between miR-33 and glucocorticoid-induced transcript 1(GlCCI1)were assessed by luciferase reporter *** neovascularization and oxidative stress contribute to diabetic *** tubule formation assay was applied to detect the retinal *** oxidative stress in the HRCECs was manifested by the reactive oxygen species(ROS)level,the malondialdehyde(MDA)level,and the superoxide dismutase(SOD)***:Compared with HRCECs cells cultured under normal conditions,high glucose(HG)can induce oxidative stress in HRCRCs,specifically manifested in the increase of ROS and MDA levels,and the decrease of SOD *** relieved the tubule formation in n the *** also relieved the ROS and MDA levels and increased the SOD *** reporter assay revealed that GlCCI1 is a target molecule downstream of *** HRCEC,BAE significantly inhibited the expression of miR-33 induced by ***-33 mimic inhibited the BAE’s effects on oxidative stress and angiogenesis in an in vitro high glucose-induced retinopathy ***:BAE alleviated the oxidative stress and microangiogenesis of HRCEC by regulating the miR-33/GlCCI1 axis.

Nitric oxide removal from flue gas coupled with the Fe^(Ⅱ)EDTA regeneration by ultraviolet irradiation

During wet complexation denitrification of flue gas,Fe^(Ⅱ)EDTA regeneration,also known as reducing Fe^(Ⅱ)EDTA and Fe^(Ⅱ)EDTA-nitric oxide(NO)to Fe^(Ⅱ)EDTA,is *** this paper,ultraviolet(UV)light was used for the first time to reduce Fe^(Ⅱ)*** experimental result demonstrated that Fe^(Ⅱ)EDTA-NO reduction rate increased with UV power increasing,elevated temperature,and initial Fe^(Ⅱ)EDTA-NO concentration ***^(Ⅱ)EDTA-NO reduction rate increased first and then decreased as pH value increased(2.0-10.0).Fe^(Ⅱ)EDTA-NO reduction with UV irradiation presented a first order reaction with respect to Fe^(Ⅱ)*** with other Fe^(Ⅱ)EDTA regeneration methods,Fe^(Ⅱ)EDTA regeneration with UV show more superiority through comprehensive consideration of regeneration rate and ***,NO absorption experiment by Fe^(Ⅱ)EDTA solution with UV irradiation confirmed that UV can significantly promote the NO removal performance of Fe^(Ⅱ)*** oxygen concentration(3%(vol))and acidic environment(pH=4)was favorable for NO *** UV power increasing as well as temperature decreasing,NO removal efficiency *** addition,the mechanism research indicates that NO from flue gas is mostly converted to NO_(2)-,NO_(3)-,NH_(4)^(+),N_(2),and N_(2)O with Fe^(Ⅱ)EDTA absorption liquid with UV *** strengthens NO removal in Fe^(Ⅱ)EDTA absorption liquid by forming a synergistic effect of ***,compared with NO removal methods with Fe^(Ⅱ)EDTA,Fe^(Ⅱ)EDTA combined UV system shows prominent technology advantage in terms of economy and secondary pollution.
